FEMA centers open in Franklin County for March storm aid
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – Help is on the way for families still recovering from devastating storms back in March.
A disaster recovery center is opening at 8 a.m. Saturday morning at First Baptist Church of Gray Summit on Highway 100 in Franklin County.
It's meant for people impacted by the tornadoes, high winds, and wildfires that hit March 14 and March 15.
They will offer help with FEMA applications and access to relief services.
FEMA teams are also in Rolla and St. Louis County on Saturday.
They will be at the Route 66 Summer Festival from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Rolla Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to St. Louis County, FEMA will be at Castlepoint Park for a community connect event from Noon until 4 p.m.
