Saraya Reveals AEW Storyline Pitch She Refused To Do
Saraya recently shared on her "Rulebreakers" podcast that she turned down a proposed storyline during her tenure with All Elite Wrestling, which lasted from 2022 to 2025. The storyline would've involved Matt Menard, also known as "Daddy Magic." The former AEW Women's Champion explained her decision was rooted in personal boundaries and a career-long preference to avoid such angles. "I've managed to go in my whole career without doing a love storyline, and I wasn't going to start." "I had a boyfriend... and I was just, 'I can't do it, you guys... if I have a boyfriend at the time and I have to kiss someone, I just don't think that it's appropriate.'"
