21-year-old killed in target shooting accident near Magnolia: Police
A 21-year-old man was accidentally killed while target shooting near Magnolia on May 21, according to Delaware State Police.
A preliminary investigation found that the victim was target shooting with three others when he was shot, police said in a news release.
Troopers responded to a field on Walnut Shade Road, near Autumn Moon Lane, and began life-saving efforts on the victim around 8 p.m.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
