Legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, watched 'Sitaare Zameen Par' recently and reviewed the film. In a video shared by Aamir Khan, who headlines the film, the cricketer highlights the power of sports in teaching and bringing people together. The 52-year-old also appreciated the film's emotional reviewed the film in Hindi: "Film bahot achi lagi. Ye movie aisi hai ki aap team Sitaare ke sath haste ho, rote ho movie me. I've always said that sports have the power to teach us everything. Itne saare messages milte hain (I loved the film. The film makes you go through the same emotions that Team Sitaare experiences in the story)."advertisementTendulkar added, "It has the power to bring everyone together. Toh ye movie waise hi message deti hai. Main saare actors ko ek big thumbs up deta hoon. Bahot acha job. Very well done and all the very best to you (This film delivers a strong message. The video also featured MNS Chief Raj Thackeray watching the film with Tendulkar as Khan could be seen standing behind them.'Sitaare Zameen Par' is directed by RS Prasanna, and features Khan as a sports teacher, who trains a group of neurodivergent children to play basketball. The film is riding on the goodwill of Khan's style of filmmaking, and the themes that he likes to explore through actor Shah Rukh Khan met the real-life neurodivergent children who are making their debut in the film. Khan also organised a special game night at his place where he invited Ranbir Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, and other celebrities to catch up with the starring Genelia D'Souza, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' hits the screens on June 20.
