Lindsay Lohan Stages a ‘Spectacular' Comeback as an ELLE Cover Star for Summer 2025
Something is happening at ELLE HQ in New York, and we're 100% here for it. Over recent months, the magazine had become somewhat of a bore, and not even covers starring the likes of Daisy Edgar-Jones, Zoë Kravitz, Lady Gaga, and Kylie Jenner had managed to successfully stimulate our interest here at theFashionSpot. Last month, however, Nina Garcia (who has served as editor-in-chief since 2017) served up Addison Rae and won us over completely. It's a repeat performance this month, as none other than Lindsay Lohan graces the cover of ELLE for Summer 2025. Fresh from the cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia, the American actress (who last covered ELLE in 2007) poses for Chris Colls and is styled by ELLE fashion director Alex White. In the commanding black and white cover image, Lohan bundles up in a faux fur coat from Dolce & Gabbana (worn with a pair of Saint Laurent slingbacks). Her look for the star-studded special event at the 30 Rockefeller Center deserved a special mention as it might be a new trend in the making. Stone styled her attire like no other for the occasion, which doubled as a date night with her husband, Dave McCary. Photos from the glam night showed her posing with the most unexpected accessory and McCary to celebrate the sketch comedy show's half-century anniversary. Nobody but Emma Stone could have pulled off this absolute stunner of a Louis Vuitton dress for 'SNL 50: The Anniversary Special' with the tastiest twist. She and her husband, Dave McCary, arrived at the red carpet event, making a rare appearance and completely engaging spectators. Photos showed Stone bringing her own snacks in her dress, which had integrated popcorn buckets, and it doesn't get better. While the popcorn overshadowed every other detail about her fit, some other features including the halter neckline with a string holding it together were worth mentioning. Furthermore, the waistline looked structured after she stuffed the pockets on either side with popcorn, which seemingly spilled out as she sashayed across the red carpet. Stone then unusually accessorized her look, holding a real popcorn bucket while posing for the cameras. Additionally, she paired her look with the peep-toe satin heels from the luxury fashion house, a matching red lip and manicure, and her dramatic pixie. Other photos from the SNL 50 red carpet showcase Emma Stone goofily posing with McCary and sharing her snacks with other attendees. In one such still, Seth Rogen seemed to be snacking on the popcorn Stone brought to the celebration.
