Body found in Motherwell street prompts 'unexplained death' probe
Police are investigating the "unexplained" death of a man whose body was found in a street in North body was discovered at about 08:30 on Saturday in the Calder Road area of Motherwell. Part of the road was closed to drivers and pedestrians while forensic experts experts examined the scene. A police spokesperson said inquiries were ongoing, and the public were being asked to avoid the area of possible.

Mystery as woman's body found in outdoor pool with cops treating death as ‘unexplained'
A WOMANS body was found in a pool of water this morning as police probe "unexplained death." Police were called to Bilston, Birmingham after paramedics discovered the woman's body in a pool of water. 1 The discovery was made around 9am today, May 9 at a body of water off Prouds Lane in Bilston. Efforts were made to save the woman but she was sadly pronounced dead a short time later. The woman's death is being treated as unexplained with cops launching enquiries. A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to an incident at the junction of Moseley Road and Prouds Lane in Bilston at 9.03am and sent two ambulances, two paramedic officers, our Hazardous Area Response Team and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene. "On arrival, crews found a woman in a critical condition and immediately began administering advanced life support. "Sadly, nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed deceased at the scene." A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "The body of a woman was found in a pool off Prouds Lane, Bilston, at around 9am. "We attended along with the fire service and paramedics but the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. "Her death is currently being treated as unexplained as we continue enquiries to establish what has happened. "Anyone with information can contact us via 101 or Live Chat quoting log 802 of 9 May."

Investigation as man found dead near offshore wind farm
The death of a man whose body was found close to an offshore wind farm is being treated as unexplained, police have man's body was recovered from the water near Burbo Wind Farm, off the coast of Wirral by HM Coastguard at about 18:40 BST on Wednesday, Merseyside Police man's next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers, a force representative said, adding:"Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances into the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained." The body of a man was found by ambulance staff at the property off Mangakahia Road (State Highway 15), Parakao just before 4pm Friday. Police said the death is being treated as unexplained and an investigation is underway into the circumstances. The property has been cordoned off, a scene guard is in place and a scene examination will happen, police said. A post mortem would be carried out at a later stage. "These enquiries are in the very early stages and no further information is currently available," a police spokesperson said. Police have launched a probe into the 'unexplained' death of a man found dead near an offshore windfarm. The unidentified male, whose family have reportedly been informed, was found by HM Coastguard on Wednesday evening close to the Burbo Bank Offshore Wind Farm. Coastguards called Merseyside Police at around 6.40pm on May 7 after discovering the body off the coast of New Brighton in Merseyside. The man had been pronounced dead, North Wales Live reported. Detectives are now trying to ascertain how the man came to be in the water and how he died. A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: 'Officers were called to New Brighton yesterday evening on Wednesday 7 May following the unexplained death of a man. 'At around 6.40pm, we received a report from HM Coastguard that a man was sadly pronounced deceased off New Brighton near Burbo Wind Farm. Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances into the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.' The site's 25 turbines generate enough electricity to power over 80,000 UK homes annually 'The next-of-kin have been informed and being supported by specially trained officers.
