Teacher's decomposed body found in Johor home
The woman, who was unmarried and lived alone, is believed to have died in her home.
PETALING JAYA : The decomposed body of a 39-year-old woman who is believed to have died one month ago has been found in her home in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
Iskandar Puteri police chief M Kumarasan said police were alerted by neighbours to a foul smell coming from the house in Bandar Selesa Jaya last Thursday, reported Berita Harian.
He said the woman, a teacher at a school in Taman Tunku Aminah, had not reported for duty since Sept 24 last year.
'The post-mortem could not determine the cause of death due to the advanced state of decomposition,' Kumarasan said, adding that no criminal elements were found.
The case has been classified as sudden death.
The woman, who was unmarried and lived alone, is believed to have died in her home.
Police are trying to contact her next of kin.
