A little taste of summer comes in hot this weekend with opening day for the Greenville Drive at Fluor Field. And if that's not enough, there's a hungry caterpillar on the loose (at Chapman Cultural Center), a world of imagination at iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival, a unique choose-your-own adventure at South Carolina Children's Theatre and much more. iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival is 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. April 5 in downtown Greenville. The festival is free and includes hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning for students in pre-K – grade12 and their families. Visit

The Greenville Drive plays at 6:45 p.m. April 5 at Fluor Field. Saturdays on the District is family-friendly event that takes place before every Saturday home game. Held on the pedestrian-friendly District 356 (Field Street), there is no admission and activities include inflatable games, live music, face painting, balloon artists, food and beverage stations and more. Today is Greenville Little League Day, where Little League players, families, and fans come together for a day of baseball and community fun. Little League teams and coaches from Greenville County participate in a pre-game parade and participate in between-innings entertainment. For tickets, visit
The Atlanta Braves' new Braves Kids Club program will take place in the new Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Park located in the Left Field Plaza between Left Field Gate and Third Base Gate, on select Kids Club Days all season long. The club features tiered membership options. The Rookie Membership is free for fans to join and includes all previous Kids Club offerings. New for this season, fans will have an additional option to upgrade to the paid All-Star Membership, which offers the same perks as the Rookie Membership, plus exclusive added benefits including the opportunity to line the field with the players during the National Anthem, be selected as the Kids Club Member of the Game and recognized on Braves television and radio broadcasts, and more. Kroc Greenville's Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Open House is 5 – 7 p.m. April 11 at Kroc Greenville. The event is free. (Participants must fill out a waiver upon arrival.) The egg hunt is for ages 1 – 12. Check in from 4:45 – 5:10 p.m. at the soccer field for the 5:15 p.m. egg hunt. Spring & Sprout is 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. April 12 at TCMU-Greenville. Snap a photo with the Easter bunny or snuggle a few in the petting zoo.
