Loaded rifle seized following attempted carjacking: WPS

A suspect has been arrested and a loaded rifle seized after an attempted carjacking in the city.
Just before 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the Windsor Police Service was called for a report of an attempted vehicle robbery in the 3500 block of Walker Road.
Officers said the victim was in his car in a parking lot when an unknown man approached. The suspect allegedly pulled a rifle out of his bag, demanding the victim give him the vehicle.
The suspect ran when the victim refused.
Police found the suspect nearby. A loaded rifle was seized.
