vivo unveils Pad5, but we've seen it before
The vivo S30 series was introduced yesterday and alongside them the company introduced a new tablet. The vivo Pad5 tablet is identical to the iQOO Pad5, down to the memory configurations and prices. The one and only difference between the vivo-branded Pad5 and the iQOO-branded Pad5 is the available colors. The vivo Pad5 comes with a Dimensity 9300+ chipset, coupled with three RAM variants (8/12/16 GB) and three storage options (128/256/512 GB), split into four memory combinations. The tablet's built around a 12.1' LCD with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a resolution of 2,800 x 1,968 px. The circular camera island features a single 8 MP camera. The front camera, which is arguably the more important one, has a 5 MP sensor. This vivo Pad5 features a 10,000 mAh battery that can theoretically provide over 8 hours of video calls. It's also great for note-taking, as it supports a cover keyboard and a stylus, along with some AI capabilities offered by OriginOS 5. vivo Pad5 The vivo Pad5 is available in Blue, Pink, or Black and costs CNY 2,499 ($350/€310) for 8/128 GB, CNY 2,799 ($390/€350)for 8/256 GB, CNY 3,099 ($430/€380) for 12/256 GB, and CNY 3,499 ($485/€430) for 16/512 GB. vivo sets S30 launch date, reveals phone design
The vivo S30 and vivo S30 Pro mini are officially arriving on May 29, the company revealed today. The phones are already up for registration on multiple online retailers in China, and the listings include some official photos of the phones. The event, scheduled for 10 days from now, will also see the introduction of vivo Pad 5 tablet, vivo TWS Air3 earbuds, and a new 10,000 mAh powerbank with 33W output. vivo Pad 5, vivo TWS Air3, vivo 33W power bank, vivo S30 series to arrive on May 29 The phones are fairly similar in design, with two shooters, positioned one above another, and a third camera on the side, sitting above a ring LED flash. At the front, both will have a flat panel with a single punch hole for the selfie camera. vivo S30 & vivo S30 Pro mini Both the vivo S30 and vivo S30 Pro mini will be available in four colors: Black, Mint Green (which looks Blue from the renders), Powder Pink, and Lemon Yellow. vivo S30 & vivo S30 Pro mini Three of the four color options will have a black camera island, while the pink version will have the island match the back. The vivo S series is usually only for China. Later, the devices are relaunched globally as vivo V phones, meaning we are likely looking at the future vivo V60. The S30 (or V60) could launch with a 6.67" screen, a 50 MP telephoto camera and a 6,500 mAh battery, while the S30 Pro mini (or V60 Pro) might arrive with a premium Dimensity 9400e chipset.
