A FUN summer buy is available from the popular budget retailer for almost half the price of other sellers. Lidl is providing items for enjoying the summer days that are on the way for a good price. 2 The Crivit All-Round Inflatable SUP is priced at just £99.99, and will be available at Lidl stores this week from Thursday May 29. The Lidl SUP pack includes a paddle that can stretch up to 217 cm, a double-action pump to inflate and deflate the board, a rucksack, leash, repair kit and slid-in fin, The rucksack, as well as carry strap in the middle of the board, makes it easy to transport whether inflated or deflated. This futuristic surfboard lets you fly above water at 25 mph

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to glide over the water, the wind whipping past your face and actually feel in control the whole time? If that sounds exciting, you'll want to check out the latest electric hydrofoil from Unifoil. The Hydroflyer Sport brings something new to the table with its handlebars, giving you extra control whether you're just starting out or you're always chasing your next thrill on the water. The Hydroflyer Sport is an electric hydrofoiling board that lets you "fly" above the water. Unlike traditional eFoils, which require you to balance surfer-style, the Hydroflyer Sport features detachable handlebars. This addition gives riders more stability and control, making it easier to learn and opening the door to more advanced tricks and maneuvers. Unifoil's original Hydroflyer made waves when it debuted in 2021, and the new Sport model builds on that success with a snub-nosed design and a lighter, more responsive feel. The smaller foil and shorter board make it ideal for riders who want a more agile experience. One of the most noticeable features is the set of handlebars mounted on the board. These handlebars are ergonomically designed for comfort and can be removed if you want a more traditional surfing experience. For beginners, the handlebars shorten the learning curve and reduce wipeouts. For advanced riders, they provide the confidence to try sharper turns and tricks. The Hydroflyer Sport is built with a carbon fiber frame, making it both strong and light. The new snub-nosed shape reduces swing weight, giving you a nimble ride and a clear view of the water beneath your feet. A 2.45-kWh lithium-ion battery powers the Hydroflyer Sport, giving you anywhere from one and a half to three hours of ride time, depending on how hard you push it. The top speed is an impressive 28 mph, and you can travel up to 25 miles on a single charge. The Hydroflyer Sport's modular design lets you swap out parts or customize your setup. Whether you're cruising on a calm lake or taking on ocean waves, you can adjust the board to fit your style and skill level. Riding the Hydroflyer Sport is a unique experience. The board is completely electric, so there are no fuel or fumes. You simply charge it up using a standard AC outlet. A wireless controller on the handlebars lets you adjust your speed. Once you reach about 4 to 5 knots, the hydrofoil lifts the board out of the water and you start to "fly." With minimal drag and no bumps, it feels like a mix of snowboarding on powder and hovering above the waves. The Hydroflyer Sport is priced at $15,995, which is the same as the original Hydroflyer Cruiser. This puts it in the premium category of water sports equipment. While it is a significant investment, you are getting advanced engineering, quality materials and a unique riding experience. For this price, you receive the board and foil, which are constructed from carbon fiber for durability and lightness, as well as the battery and motor, which offer up to three hours of ride time and a two-hour recharge. The handlebars are detachable for customizable riding, and the design includes safety features for both beginners and experienced riders. The Hydroflyer Sport is suitable for a wide range of riders. Beginners will appreciate how the handlebars make it easier to learn, so even first-timers can get up and ride. Experienced riders will enjoy the Sport's responsive design and smaller foil, which are perfect for those who want to push their skills further. Adventure seekers who love trying new sports and want a fresh way to enjoy the water will find this board worth considering. With its handlebar-equipped design, lightweight build and powerful battery, the Hydroflyer Sport offers a fresh way to experience the water, whether you are a beginner seeking stability or an experienced rider chasing thrills. While the price tag is steep, the combination of safety, performance and pure fun makes it a standout option for anyone serious about water sports. If you have ever wondered what it feels like to fly above the water, the Hydroflyer Sport just might be your next adventure. Little-known UK beach crowned the country's best 'seaside hidden gem' - with crystal-clear waters and beach golf course

Summer is almost upon us - and as temperatures rise, beach lovers across the nation instinctively scramble for the perfect seaside escape. And if you're looking to catch some rays away from the crowds, one Welsh beach has just been named the best hidden coastal gem in the country. Trearddur Bay, located just south of Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey, has been named the UK's best lesser-known beach destination. The new study - conducted by Insure4Boats - analysed over 250 UK coastal towns using Met Office data, Instagram popularity, and local attractions, and found the North Wales resort to be a standout spot for sun-seekers and water sport lovers alike. Described as 'prestigious' with 'crystal clear waters,' Trearddur Bay scored high across the board, with a perfect 10 on Instagram, high sunshine and low rainfall ratings. Whether you're keen on kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply taking in the panoramic sea views, the bay is hailed as a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. There's plenty to explore beyond the beach itself: rock pools, scenic walking trails, and an assortment of cafés and restaurants - including the beachfront Sea Shanty Café - can keep visitors busy well into the evening. Located right next to the beach, the Sea Shanty Café serves up plenty of traditional seaside fare, including cod and scallops, along with menu items with a twist, such as moules frites and Thai fish cakes. Whether you're keen on kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply taking in the panoramic sea views, the bay is hailed as a playground for outdoor enthusiasts The resort additionally features a 'haunted' family home, the remains of an ancient forest that occasionally appear beneath the sand, and even an annual New Year's Day Spacehopper Race - a tradition launched to raise funds for the local RNLI. Trearddur Bay is also home to its own golf course, a vibrant oyster festival, and is located next to the lesser-known Porth Diana Beach, a hotspot for rock poolers. In joint second place as the UK's best hidden coastal gems is Salcombe Regis and Goodrington down in Devon. Salcombe Regis, nestled in the Sid Valley, topped the chart for number of attractions with over 49 things to do, while Goodrington impressed with its sheltered bay and classic English Riviera charm. In joint third, the shores of Lydd-on-Sea in Kent tied with Mwnt in Ceredigion, Wales. Just 38 minutes away from London by train, Lydd boasts the highest monthly sunshine hours in the list, while Mwnt proved more popular online, amassing over 4,400 monthly Google searches. In fourth place is Crimdon, County Durham, followed by Ynyslas, based in Ceredigion, Wales in fifth and the Isle of Man's Port Erin in sixth place. On social media, visitors have long been preaching the beauty of Trearddur, with one TripAdvisor user writing in a thread: 'We have been going to Trearddur Bay for 8 years it's absolutely beautiful. Fantastic beaches, walks, National Trust and pubs.' Another user, a Trearddur Bay resident, said: 'I live in Trearddur Bay, have been here for about 15 years. I feel lucky to live in such a safe and clean area, and this is the case all year round. 'The beach is very clean and is manned by wardens in the summer, there is a life boat station here also. The village is not bustling with lots of night life, however there are places to go and importantly for you children are welcome there.'

A CAFE overlooking one of the UK's best beaches has been compared to being in Ibiza. In a review, one visitor dubbed the South Beach Cafe on Sandy Bay Beach in Devon as having the "feel of an Ibiza chill out bar", sat overlooking the beach. 5 5 The cafe itself is located at Haven's Devon Cliffs site. There is a cliff top terrace that plays a "pleasant mix of music" according to one visitor. The same visitor also noted how they "could not fault the food". Another visitor added: "You'd be mistaken for thinking this could be in Ibiza. "[There is a] sanded play area right outside for the kids too which is handy." The venue has an extensive menu, with a lot of different seafood dishes and sharing plates, including a seafood platter. The cafe also serves breakfast, for those who are out for an early morning stroll. The privately owned Exmouth beach has previously won Blue Flag awards and been recognised for its beauty, safety and amenities. The long stretch of sand is a preferred spot for water sports enthusiasts, as well as people who enjoy rock pooling. Visitors can also fossil hunt and sunbath at the beach. For those who like to go for a walk or hike, the beach is also conveniently located on the South West Coast Path - which provides stunning views of the bay, its rugged cliffs and sealife. Lucky visitors may even get the chance to spot seabirds or seals. In the summer months, the beach is the ideal spot for families as the RNLI provides lifeguards to the beach. Amenities at the beach also include places to grab refreshments, such as the South Beach Cafe. Away from the beach itself, Devon is home to dozens of charming villages and rolling countryside. The Sun's reporter, Cyann Fielding, grew up on the Devon coast with the most Blue Flag beaches in the UK – she shared the ones which she rates and the places to avoid. Plus, a huge beach named 'best in England' by Sun readers will get new £2.6m tourist centre in time for summer. 5 5

Dramatic vid shows ENORMOUS shark lurking off coast at Brit holiday hotspot Marbella for ‘the first time in 35 years'

THIS is the shocking moment an enormous shark was spotted near the beach in a popular Spanish tourist spot. A viral video shows the colossal basking shark skulking around the waters just off the coast of Marbella. 4 4 4 The footage, shared by water sports club Aqua Time Marbella on Instagram, gives a stunningly clear look at the vast beast as it makes its way along the coastline. The team marvelled at the incredible rare close up sighting of the huge creature. "Never in our 35-year history have we seen anything like it," a member of the club's team wrote. To start with, the only thing visible is the shark's fin as it breaks above the water. But as the enormous creature swims closer to the camera, its sheer jaw-dropping size becomes clear. The beast gracefully makes its way through the waters, leaving onlookers stunned at how vast it looks. A jet-ski can also be seen whizzing off into the distance, offering some perspective of the creature's size. But sunbathers and swimmers looking to enjoy the Spanish sun don't need to be alarmed. Basking sharks can grow up to an intimidating 12 metres in length, but they are not aggressive towards humans. Watch as eight basking sharks surround tiny canoe in middle of sea off coast of Ireland in incredible footage They are the second largest shark found in the ocean, only after the whale shark. Their big, gaping mouths might make them look scary, but they only feed on plankton and small fish. Basking sharks can be found throughout European waters - including around the UK coastline. Despite this, such close up sightings of these sharks are relatively rare. But this is not the only recent basking shark encounter around Spanish tourist hotspots in recent weeks. Last month, Spanish fishermen accidentally caught a 22 foot basking shark in the north-eastern Catalonia region. The startled fishermen brought it back to shore at Port de la Selva - about two hours drive northeast of Barcelona. They alerted the area's marine life foundation - CRAM - once they realised what they'd caught. A video shared widely on X shows the heartstopping moment the shark was brought onto dry land, where what looks like a fishing net can be seen tangled around its tail fins. However, the shark had died by the time they reached port. Elsewhere, a group of fishermen wrestled a great white shark back into the water after it was caught in North Carolina. It took the team 35-minutes to wrestle the creature back into the ocean. The fisherman who shared the footage said: "It's breathtaking seeing a 12-to-13-foot, 1,400-to-1,800-pound animal jump out of the water on the hook set.
