Grand Prairie police seeking suspect in shooting death of man
Grand Prairie police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect in a shooting death that occurred Sunday afternoon, officials said in a statement.
Police responded to the shooting call in the 2400 block of West Tarrant Road at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday and found a man outside of his vehicle with a gunshot wound, officials said.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the statement.
The suspect fled the scene prior to officers' arrival, police said.
Based on evidence found at the scene, police say the victim may have been engaged in 'high-risk activity' prior to the shooting, officials said.

The victim will be identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office once family has been notified.
