Bonnie Lou O'Neal, 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at WVU Medicine in Morgantown, on May 11, 1956, in Morgantown, Bonnie's life was a testament to the joy and warmth she brought into the was a beloved daughter of the late Daniel Paul O'Neal and Wilma Bennett O'Neal. Her life was a reflection of the close-knit family she was born into and the one she nurtured over the was a devoted mother to her children, Cori Skidmore (Kevin Stone), Misty O'Neal (Cole Davis), and Robert Travis was predeceased by her dear son, Franklin 'Frankie' Skidmore, whose memory remained a guiding light in her siblings, Alverta Murray (Gary), Dianne Flowers, and Paul O'Neal (Carolyn); along with her sister-in-law Barbara O'Neal, shared in the joys and sorrows of life with Bonnie, each forming an unbreakable bond. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel 'Danny' O'Neal, and her love for him remained unwavering. Bonnie's role as a grandmother to Lily Skidmore was one of her greatest joys, and she embraced every moment with professional life was spent in the culinary department at West Virginia University, where she not only shared her talents but also formed lasting friendships and connections. Her colleagues will remember her for her dedication, warmth, and the care she put into her was one of Bonnie's greatest passions, and she loved going to concerts, feeling the rhythm and melodies as a source of joy and celebration. Her love for yard sales and antiques spoke to her appreciation for history and the stories behind each cherished find. Joyce Elaine Renner Whitaker, 71, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, in Augusta, in Morgantown on September 16, 1953, Joyce's compassionate spirit and radiant energy were a beacon of love and kindness throughout her was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, always placing the needs of others before her own, embodying the true nature of Joyce was the respected Chief Nurse of General Surgery at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Fort Bliss, Texas. Her dedication to the medical field and to the care of others was evident in her commitment to her work and the way she led her ardent sports fan, Joyce enjoyed all college sports, especially those of her alma mater, WVU, with Alabama holding a close second place in her heart. She delighted in watching games coached by Nick Saban and cherished the times spent with her life was shared and cherished by her devoted husband, Derek Casper Whitaker; and her adoring daughter, Cher Strakal; and life partner, Christopher Mogg. She was the proud grandmother of Summer and Caden Mogg, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life. Joyce is also survived by her brothers, Gary (Barbara) Renner and Donnie (Joyce Voithofer) was predeceased by her dear parents, John H. and Ruby Ullery Renner; as well as her siblings: Jane (Mike) Wade, Judy (Bill) Jones and Charles 'Butch' (Carolyn) legacy is characterized by her unwavering affection and generosity, which will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
