Fall River man wins $1 million on Massachusetts lottery ticket
Alberto Borges of Fall River won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery's 'Bonus 100X' instant ticket game, according to a community announcement.
Borges opted for the cash option, receiving a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. He plans to use the winnings for a vacation and his family.
Borges purchased the winning ticket at Cumberland Farms, 864 Stafford Road in Fall River, which will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
