Ginny And Georgia Season 4: There's Good News And Bad News For Fans Of The Netflix Series

After the second season of Netflix's Ginny & Georgia proved to be a low-key sleeper hit for the streaming giant, its recent third run looks set to follow a similar trajectory.
Season three of the comedy – which has been described by some critics as a 'messier' Gilmore Girls (with a murder or two thrown in for good measure) – premiered on Netflix last month, and since then, it's not budged from the number one spot on the platform's list of most-watched shows right now.
For those who've already torn through all 10 of the new episodes, you might well be pondering whether there's more Ginny & Georgia still to come. Well, here's what we know?
The good news is – it already has. When Ginny & Georgia was renewed last year, it was for two more seasons, meaning a fourth batch of episodes is already in the pipeline.
However, there is a downside, in that there could be a teenie wait for the next instalments.
Traditionally, there's been a two year break in between seasons of Ginny & Georgia, and while Netflix is yet to reveal whether that will be the case this time around, that would mean fans should expect the next episodes to drop in 2027 – which is far from ideal, given the cliffhanger that it ended on.
What we do know, though, is that work is already underway on season four, as revealed by creator Sarah Lampert on Instagram.

For that, we'll turn, once again, to Sarah.
Given how much double bluffing there was going on in season three, you might be questioning the validity of Georgia's pregnancy – but Sarah has confirmed to Tudum that the character is expecting another child, which will no doubt form a huge part of the action in the next season.
While Sarah was happy to validiate that Georgia is pregnant, she was less forthcoming about who the father of the character's unborn child is, with multiple names in the frame.
It's also been teased that Ginny will be exploring more of her past in the new season, which Sarah revealed will have a theme of 'cycles and origins'.
With that in mind, the new season will also look into just how much the character is beginning to turn into her mother as the first three seasons have unfolded.
