Isakin Drabbad: Daughter recalls last conversation before devil-loving cannibal dad killed step-mum, ate her

WARNING: DISTRESSING CONTENT A woman who endured one of the most horrific childhoods imaginable has spoken out about growing up with a father who killed and ate her stepmother after a blazing domestic confrontation. Jamie-Lee Arrow is the daughter of the most notorious murderer in Sweden's modern history, Isakin Drabbad, nicknamed the 'Skara Cannibal'. Drabbad, a self-proclaimed Satan worshipper, had been having visions of demons and evil spirits in the lead up to a fight with his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, which ultimately ended in her murder. In November 2010, Drabbad, now 46, killed Ms Christensen, 40, by cutting her throat, before decapitating her and slicing flesh from her body after the ongoing violent argument that lasted nearly 24 hours. In scenes reminiscent of a Stephen King novel, the body parts were cooked in salt and cannabis leaves, before Drabbad ate the pieces. Ms Arrow relayed the final conversation she had with her stepmother as they sat together for a meal prior to the killing. 'Enjoy your meal because this is the last time I will cook for you ... because Isakin is going to kill me,' Ms Christensen said to Ms Arrow. Drabbad was arrested and confessed to the murder and cannibalism, before he was remanded to a psychiatric facility in 2011. The Sun newspaper recently secured an interview with Ms Arrow who has spent nearly 15 years trying to rationalise the horrendous situation she found herself in as a nine-year-old, and the memories of the lead up to one of history's most gruesome acts. Ms Arrow said her time with her father was like stepping into a 'horror movie' after her parents split and she moved between the two residences in a shared custody arrangement. 'He often talked about the devil, demons and evil spirits, and when I was little, he liked to introduce me to the other side,' Ms Arrow recalled. 'We would lay in the dark on the bed and he would go, 'Do you see the faces on the wall, can you see them?' Then he would say it so much I would actually start seeing them.' After all the trauma of her childhood Ms Arrow, now 23, wrestled with addiction and left school at 15, but through a determined mindset and self-preservation, she has now turned her life around and is set to marry her long term partner while raising her two children. 'Just because your childhood sucked doesn't mean your entire life has to. We have the power over our own lives and we can create something beautiful even if we came from something ugly,' Ms Arrow told The Sun. 'I want people to understand the darkness I came from and that I actually managed to get myself out from under it. I still struggle with feeling like I am my own person and that my dad has got nothing to do with who I am.' A gifted motivational speaker, Ms Arrow, featured in the TV documentary Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks, where she spoke to her father in a chilling interaction between the two. 'Do you know how much you have to love someone to still want to see the person who is scaring you to death?' she told Drabbad. 'I think it's extremely difficult to have me in your life. You can only see heaven from hell ... I look at you from hell. And I'm sorry,' Drabbad replied. Isakin Drabbad is no longer held within the psychiatric institution and after serving neary 15 years in jail is hoping to one day be granted parole. Lifeline: 13 11 14. Neil Patrick Harris is Deadpool in new Marvel VR game

Wade Wilson has a new voice (Marvel/Meta) Marvel has announced a new VR game centred around Deadpool, from the studio behind 'Splosion Man and Comic Jumper. There are a huge number of Marvel games in development at the moment, including Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra and a new fighting game from Arc System Works, but now another has been added to the pile at Summer Game Fest. Surprisingly, it's a VR game starring quippy anti-hero Deadpool, created by Twisted Pixel ('Splosion Man) and Oculus Studios in collaboration with Marvel Games. Even more surprisingly, Deadpool has a brand new voice, in Neil Patrick Harris, best known for starring in How I Met Your Mother, Netflix's A Series Of Unfortunate Events, and Doogie Howser, M.D. Marvel's Deadpool VR features a new original story, where the superhero is pulled into a portal to Mojoworld. After he signs a dodgy contract without reading the fine print, he's sent off to visit a bunch of locations from across the Marvel universe, facing villains both iconic and, as noted by the developers, 'not-so-iconic'. The gameplay blends parkour and combat, with a style described as 'if you can imagine it, you can probably do it'. Based on the trailer, you can shoot, throw your gun, wield enemies in a grappling beam, shove people against propellers, and skewer heads with your swords. As you'd expect from Deadpool, it's all appropriately meta, with one nod levelled at a certain web-slinger on PlayStation: 'Spider-Man gets Insomniac, and I get this sh*t?' If you're a fan of Deadpool, this seems to be hitting all the right notes and Harris seems like a perfect fit for the character. We'll have to see though, if it can match the heights of fellow superhero VR title, Batman: Arkham Shadow. While Twisted Pixel were originally known for games like 'Splosion Man and Comic Jumper on the Xbox 360, in recent years the studio has created VR titles. The combat in Deadpool appears to be an evolution of their last action game, 2019's Path Of The Warrior. Marvel's Deadpool VR is slated to release late 2025 and is exclusive to Meta Quest 3 and 3S. If you fancy more Marvel games, Insomniac is working on a Wolverine project, an Iron Man game is in development at EA, and a throwback beat 'em up titled Marvel Cosmic Invasion is set to launch this year. Hot weather to finally return but not before we endure a drenching

London faced downpours yesterday, and the wetness will last into the weekend (Picture: PA) This week has been miserable across the UK – rain showers in London, winds near the coast and lower temperatures. Don't fret – it won't be long until we can start experiencing some warm, summery weather again. Yesterday, rain and thunder hit London as temperatures dipped lower than usual at 17C. The rainy and windy weather will last through the weekend, with the Met Office warning that the storms will be 'heavier and more frequent', with hail even possible. What will this weekend look like? Saturday will be quite blustery (Picture: Met Office) On Friday, there will be early rain in the south, some sunshine and showers in the north, with the weather only set to get wetter the following day. On Saturday, Southport and other areas in the south of England could see gusts of up to 40mph, according to Met Office predictions. Met Office spokeswoman Andrea Bishop pointed out that the blustery weather isn't gone yet, adding: 'We are keeping an eye on a new front which looks like it will move in on Friday night, bringing rain which could be heavy, and possibly thundery at times on Saturday. 'Rainfall totals of 20mm to 30mm are likely in places, and, at present, this looks like it will affect the southern half of the UK. We are keeping a close eye on this to see how it evolves over the next 24 hours or so.' Saturday will see rain across the UK, but conditions will dry up by Sunday across the south of the country. The Met Office said: 'The weather will be changeable for the rest of this week, with everyone likely to see some showers at some point 'We are keeping an eye on a new front which looks like it will move in on Friday night, bringing rain which could be heavy, and possibly thundery at times on Saturday.' When will the weather improve? By Wednesday, temperatures will rise to 25C in some areas (Picture: Metro) Monday is set to see more rain, with a cool breeze expected to keep temperatures below average. Tuesday will see warmer weather creep in, and by the middle of next week, temperatures are expected to be higher than average, signalling the start of warm summer weather. Luckily, temperatures will rise to 25C by Wednesday, accompanied by a bit of sun to dry out the rain. Man admits killing wife while she pushed pram in the street

Habibur Masum has pleaded guilty to killing his wife as she pushed a baby in a pram (Picture: PA) A man has admitted to killing his wife while she pushed their baby in a pram along a high street. Kulsuma Akter, 27, was stabbed to death on Wigan Street, Bradford, in April last year, as she pushed a pram with a baby, who was unharmed. Her husband Habibur Masum, a Youtuber, has admitted to manslaughter but denied murder. He is facing trial on Monday, and is also charged with two counts of assault by beating and one charge of stalking. Kulsuma was taken to hospital and later died from her injuries, while Masum was arrested 170 miles away in Aylesbury after a three day man hunt. Kulsuma had moved from Bangladesh to England to be with her husband Monwara Begum, Kulsuma's mum, said she has been left 'heartbroken' over her youngest daughter's death. She said: 'I am in shock. She was my youngest daughter and I adored her greatly. 'When she moved to the United Kingdom I was alone, but Kulsuma would call me every day by video. The only day I didn't hear from her was the day she was attacked.' Bradford Crown Court heard the allegations of assault and threats to kill relate to two days in November 23. He 'tracked her movements and located her at a safe house, sent her messages of a menacing nature which contained threats to kill another and photos and videos of the area and premises where she was residing'. He is also alleged to have 'loitered in the area of her temporary residence'. The charge alleges he caused her 'alarm or distress' and to 'fear that violence would be used against her'. Got a story? F4 Announces 2025 Exploration Program and Private Placement of up to $1.5 Million

Kelowna, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - June 4, 2025) - F4 Uranium Corp. (TSXV: FFU) (the "Company" or "F4") is pleased to announce the details of an exploration program for five of its mineral properties located in the Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan (the "Exploration Program") and a non-brokered private placement consisting of up to 15,000,000 common shares of the Company (the "FT Shares") that shall qualify as "flow-through shares" for the purposes of the Income Tax Act(Canada)(the "Tax Act") at a price of $0.10 per FT Share for gross proceeds of up to $1,500,000 (the "Private Placement"). Red Cloud Securities Inc. will be acting as a finder in connection with the Offering. The Exploration Program One of F4's key strengths is its 100% ownership of 17 different uranium mineral properties located in the Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan, Canada. The Exploration Program is intended to advance exploration of five of F4's uranium mineral properties (collectively, the "Exploration Properties") consisting of Todd Lake, Wales Lake East and Wales Lake West, located in the western Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan and all within 30 kilometres (km) of Paladin Energy Limited's Triple R and NexGen Energy Limited's Arrow projects, Cree Bay, located in the northern Athabasca Basin with encouraging pervious drill results and Grey Island, located in the eastern Athabasca Basin approximately 50 km west of the Key Lake Mine. The Exploration Program is anticipated to commence in or around July 2025 and shall consist of the following: Todd Lake: A ground electromagnetic (EM) survey to define drill targets by focusing on anomalies identified by airborne surveys. The Todd Lake property is situated in the historically underexplored Clearwater Domain which has been significantly upgraded by F3 Uranium Corp.'s ("F3") recent discovery of radioactivity at the "PW" area, less than 10 km to the northeast of the Todd Lake property. Wales Lake East: Drilling of two holes to test priority conductivity. Wales Lake West: Drilling of three holes to test priority conductivity targets and additional airborne VTEM surveys and subsequent follow-up ground EM. Cree Bay - Mobile MT airborne geophysical survey to better identify structural corridors by enhancing previous airborne VTEM and ground EM geophysics carried out on the Cree Bay property. Two 2019 drill holes intersected wide structures in the Athabasca Sandstone with anomalous uranium geochemistry highlighting the potential for uranium mineralization on the Cree Bay property. Grey Island - Mobile MT airborne geophysical survey as the first phase of exploration on the Grey Island property to develop exploration targets. The Private Placement The gross proceeds from the Private Placement will be used by the Company to incur "Canadian exploration expenses" that qualify as "flow-through critical mineral mining expenditures" as such terms are defined in the Tax Act, and to incur "eligible flow-through mining expenditures" pursuant to The Mineral Exploration Tax Credit Regulations, 2014 (Saskatchewan) (collectively, the "Qualifying Expenditures") related to the Company's Exploration Program on the Exploration Properties. The Company intends to incur the Qualifying Expenditures on or before December 31, 2026, and renounce such Qualifying Expenditures in favour of the subscribers of the FT Shares effective December 31, 2025. Red Cloud Securities Inc. (the "Finder") will act as a finder for the Company in respect of the Private Placement on a best-efforts basis. As compensation for its services, the Finder will receive cash compensation equal to 6% of the gross proceeds of the Offering raised by the Finder. The Finder will also receive non-transferable common share purchase warrants (the "Finder Warrants") which will entitle the Finder to acquire such number of common shares of the Company ("Common Shares") as is equal to 6% of the number of FT Shares placed by the Finder. The Finder Warrants will be exercisable at a price of $0.10 per Common Share at any time for a period of 24 months following the closing date of the Private Placement. The Private Placement is scheduled to close on or about June 18, 2025, and is subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, the receipt of all necessary approvals including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The FT Shares to be issued under the Private Placement, the Finder Warrants and any Common Shares issued upon the exercise thereof will be subject to a statutory hold period of four months and one day from the closing date of the Private Placement. It is anticipated that certain directors, officers and other insiders of the Company may acquire FT Shares under the Private Placement. Such participation will be considered to be "related party transactions" within the meaning of TSX Venture Exchange Policy 5.9 (the "Policy") and Multilateral Instrument 61-101-Protection of Minority Security Holders in Special Transactions ("MI 61-101") adopted in the Policy. The Company intends to rely on the exemptions from the formal valuation and minority shareholder approval requirements of MI 61-101 contained in sections 5.5(a) and 5.7(1)(a) of MI 61-101 in respect of related party participation in the Private Placement as neither the fair market value (as determined under MI 61-101) of the subject matter of, nor the fair market value of the consideration for, the transaction, insofar as it involves interested parties, is expected to exceed 25% of the Company's market capitalization (as determined under MI 61-101).
