Andrew Huberman Makes It Clear What He Really Thinks About Joe Rogan

Andrew Huberman didn't hold back his admiration for Joe Rogan during a recent chat with comedian Tom Segura on the Huberman Lab podcast. "One of the main reasons why Rogan is the top podcast in the world," Huberman says, "is because he has lots of different kinds of friends—and he can sit down with intellectuals, he can sit down with comics, he can sit down with criminals—he likes the understanding and communication with different kinds of people." Huberman also praised Rogan's work ethic and ability to connect. "His life is filled with these people outside of the studio, so he's very comfortable in the presence of anyone. You put anyone in front of him, and he can be genuinely interested in learning from them," Huberman says. Both Huberman and Segura agreed you can't fake that kind of curiosity. "Some podcasters, they're not that interested in what other people have to say—so they're not the best interviewers, unless it's someone directly in their genre," Huberman later shared the clip on X, where fans weighed in on his Rogan take. "It's what makes him. He's not afraid to talk to anyone and ask hard questions," one X user commented. One X user pushed back, asking if the Joe Rogan Experience was still the biggest podcast in the world and commenting that numbers seem to have dropped. Huberman defended his buddy with a comment back: "Rankings reflect acceleration among other things. Rogan is still the most listened to media channel by a HUGE margin." Huberman has appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience multiple times. Their conversations often dive deep into neuroscience, performance, health, and human behavior—an area both men clearly care Huberman Makes It Clear What He Really Thinks About Joe Rogan first appeared on Men's Fitness on May 23, 2025

Joe Rogan Says China ‘On Verge of Passing' US in ‘Many Areas'

Podcaster Joe Rogan has said China is "on the verge of passing" the United States in "many areas" such as drones and electric cars. Rogan, one of the world's most-listened-to podcasters, was discussing global affairs with comedian Jimmy Carr in a Joe Rogan Experience episode uploaded on May 23. His comments reflect a broader debate over the shifting global balance of power, as the U.S. and its allies navigate a world increasingly defined by competition with China. On top of this, global dynamics are shifting under Donald Trump's presidency, with concerns about opportunities for Beijing to woo U.S. allies in the face of Trump's tariffs and rhetoric about places like Greenland and the Panama Canal. Carr was talking about the American constitution, how it gives people agency and "the flourishing that's come out of it." "Look at what it's achieved," he said. "Imagine if something like that happens in China—imagine—in our lifetime that they go with a different system." He went on to compare China to a "covers band" saying it "has its own version of Facebook and its own version of Google." "What is it about America that allows this entrepreneurial spirit, that allows Silicon Valley to happen?" Carr asked. Rogan said: "Well they've got a very interesting approach because they still have a very entrepreneurial spirit as well. They've got a weird sort of merging of communism and capitalism. Like it's state-run capitalism." "But they still have insane innovation," he continued. "Like China's technological innovation is probably greater than ours—in a lot of areas. In the areas of electrical vehicles for sure. In the areas of drones for sure." Rogan went on to discuss China's "spectacular drone capabilities" and electric cars "you'd have no idea you don't follow these obscure car review people online that review Chinese electric cars." "Insane technology inside the vehicles, like spectacular-looking cars," Rogan said. "They're on the verge of passing us in many areas because there's a lot of regulation in regards to drone technology in particular in this country." What People Are Saying Donald Trump made similar comments about China and electric vehicles before the 2024 election:"China's eating our lunch right now," Trump said while criticizing what he considered a lack of tariffs imposed on China by former President Joe Biden. "We're losing," he said later talking about electric vehicles. "They're all gonna be made in China," he added. Robert D. Atkinson, founder of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, a public policy think tank, wrote last September: "There may be no more important question for the West's competitive position in advanced industries than whether China is becoming a rival innovator. While the evidence suggests it hasn't yet taken the overall lead, it has pulled ahead in certain areas, and in many others Chinese firms will likely equal or surpass Western firms within a decade or so." The growing rivalry between the U.S. and China is likely to remain a central issue in global affairs, with potential flashpoints in trade, technology and geopolitics. It remains to be seen how Trump's tariff war and his changes to regulations in the United States will play into this. Joe Rogan unsure how Sean O'Malley keeps 'superhuman' Merab Dvalishvili off him at UFC 316

Joe Rogan unsure how Sean O'Malley keeps 'superhuman' Merab Dvalishvili off him at UFC 316 Joe Rogan expects Sean O'Malley to struggle with Merab Dvalishvili's stifling offense once again at UFC 316. O'Malley (18-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) will look to avenge his bantamweight title loss to Dvalishvili at UFC 306 when the pair run things back in the June 7 main event at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. O'Malley was taken down six times and controlled for over 10 minutes in his unanimous decision loss to Dvalishvili. He did however enter the fight with a hip injury which later required surgery. Despite a healthier version of O'Malley who underwent lifestyle changes for the rematch, Rogan wonders how he will handle Dvalishvili's game plan. "That's an interesting fight – very interesting fight," Rogan said in a recent episode of his "Joe Rogan Experience." "I do not know how 'Suga' Sean keeps that guy off of him, but I do like what he's been doing. Got off social media, stopped smoking weed, just dialed the f*ck in. Got his hip fixed, which was a big problem. There's a lot of these fighters that take these fights because it's a lot of money, and it's a big event, and they don't want to cancel, and they've got a significant injury. "Sean could not wrestle. Imagine not being able to wrestle in camp and you've got to go face Merab. He's a f*cking animal. That guy's superhuman – there's no one like him. The cardio that guy has is off the charts. It's just off the charts. I've never seen anything like it. He doesn't get tired. He's full gas, no brakes the entire fight. It's just smothering, overwhelming people. Even (Umar) Nurmagomedov, who's also an animal – he couldn't keep him off of him. This motherf*cker is crazy." After dethroning O'Malley to become champion, Dvalishvili handed Umar Nurmagomedov his first-career loss at UFC 311 in January.

Aaron Rodgers sparks outrage by linking The Ellen DeGeneres Show's set to Epstein Island temple

Aaron Rodgers draws a bold link between Ellen's set and Epstein Island's temple (Getty Images) NFL star Aaron Rodgers has once again found himself at the center of controversy following his recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience. This time, the free agent quarterback stunned listeners by making a bold claim that connected the set of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to Jeffrey Epstein's infamous island — a comparison that even Joe Rogan quickly rejected. Aaron Rodgers draws a bold link between Ellen's set and Epstein Island's temple During the episode, the conversation turned to Epstein Island, a place long shrouded in mystery and criminal allegations involving sex trafficking and abuse. As Rogan displayed a photo of the peculiar temple structure located on the island, Rodgers pointed out what he perceived to be a disturbing resemblance. Joe Rogan Experience #2325 - Aaron Rodgers 'Show him the image of the temple that was on the island. ... Look at it,' Rogan prompted. Rodgers replied, 'Oh well, you know where that is too, right? A similar image to that. ... It's on the set of a famous talk show that's now not on anymore.' When Rogan asked, 'Oh Ellen? Was that Ellen? Really?', Rodgers confirmed his implication, subtly connecting the daytime talk show's set design with one of the most sinister landmarks in recent criminal memory. Joe Rogan dismisses the comparison, calling it coincidence Not one to blindly follow a narrative, Rogan quickly challenged the idea. 'Let me see Ellen's background. ... Oh, similar. That looks like a building though,' Rogan said, looking at the side-by-side. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like These Are The Most Beautiful Women In The World Undo 'Is that a building in LA? That might be a building in LA. ... It is, whatever. I'm not that impressed with that. That could just be coincidental.' Rogan's pushback illustrated his discomfort with jumping to conclusions based on architectural similarity, especially without direct evidence. Aaron Rodgers also revisits LeBron James ' praise of Diddy amid serious allegations The episode also delved into another hot-button issue — LeBron James' connection to Diddy, who is currently under investigation for serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. Rogan noted how many celebrities used to celebrate Diddy's parties. 'You know how many guys were on video saying, ain't no party like a Diddy party? How many people like openly talked about being there?' Rogan asked. Rodgers interjected, 'LeBron,' before Rogan added, 'Yeah, how Ashton Kutcher and all these people, like you guys all went and you didn't see nothing?'
