Skincare gadget loved by Dita Von Teese that has dermatologists 'surprised by the results'
A top celebrity makeup artist who has worked on stars such as Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley swears by one essential product she takes 'on every job'. The LYMA Laser is her go-to gadget for combating signs of ageing like wrinkles and pigmentation. Romy Soleimani, the MUA behind the faces of A-list actors, said: "I take it on every single job with me because it's so easy to travel with." This clinical-grade cold laser device isn't just a favourite of Soleimani - it's also endorsed by stars including Sienna Miller, Kate Beckinsale, Cynthia Erivo, and Dita Von Teese. Designed specifically for the face and neck, the LYMA Laser comes with a special lens tailored for these areas, but it can also be used for other parts of the body like the knees. Priced at £1,999, it provides a pain-free approach to skin rejuvenation. The device is engineered to rejuvenate skin by reactivating cells vital for collagen and elastin production, and increasing energy reserves devoted to detoxification and hydration. The result is an accelerated regeneration of skin cells, which means tighter, brighter, and more youthful skin, reports the Mirror. LYMA LYMA also offers an upscale Pro model priced at £4,995. However, there is competition in the market, with alternatives such as the CurrentBody LED Face Mask Series 2, which costs £399. The innovative LED face mask employs red light therapy to ramp up collagen production, promising impressive results like a 30% reduction in wrinkles and 57% enhancement in skin plumpness. Elsewhere, BeautyPro has a selection of travel-friendly beauty gadgets, including the LED Wand Device priced at £79. This nifty device uses red light therapy to help smooth and firm skin, making it a must-have for beauty enthusiasts on the go. Speaking on the development of the laser, Lucy Goff, the founder of LYMA, said: "The original version of the LYMA Laser's technology was a gigantic floor-standing machine. Over 120 iterations, we got it down to a portable, painless - and yet incredibly powerful - little device. It's light, and easy to use when at home or on the move, because travel is integral to so many lives." She added: "That's why it's also safe for hand luggage. It truly is the only device you need, and it fits perfectly into whatever routine you already have, whether at home on the sofa or while travelling." With 150 customer reviews, LYMA's Laser is receiving praise, with one user giving it five stars and commenting: "I love it. I am in control of my skin." Another penned: "Though I haven't finished the full three months, I am seeing positive results on my 71-year-old skin. Nice smooth texture, lessening of fine lines, and maybe some reductions in my deep wrinkles. I have trouble doing it every day, but I do it 5-6 times a week. "Must say, I do find the treatment very relaxing, and it is something I look forward to doing. I am planning to splurge on the Pro version - cutting the treatment time will help me be more consistent. Thanks for a great product and very responsive customer service." One customer expressed their ambivalence about the product, stating: "I'm having mixed feelings about this product I do like the laser but for what my reason for it I not sure if it is helping [and] it is a commitment." A fourth shared: "We dermatologists are not big fans of at-home devices. In general we think that clinic based treatments will give faster and dramatic outcomes. I bought this device anyway to treat myself for Christmas. I already had good skin but I was starting to notice sagging skin and signs of ageing." Detailing their experience, they continued: "After two months of use (which could have been more consistent but Christmas and holidays happened) I am surprised by the results... my jawline is prominent, skin is more even-toned, overall I feel more confident (certain changes even I can't pinpoint). I am so pleased I took the risk and bought it. Definitely be recommending to my right set of patients." A fifth provided a hopeful conclusion: "Takes commitment, but I am two weeks in and people are already commenting on the luminosity of my skin."

Keira Knightley 'has reunited with Daniel Craig on the school run' after former co-stars enrol their children in the same private school
Keira Knightley and Daniel Craig, left, who appeared in 2005 film The Jacket together, have been reunited on the school run. I hear former James Bond star Daniel, 57, and Keira, 40, are sending their children to the same private school in north London. Keira's husband, musician James Righton is very involved in school activities, appearing in the Christmas show, and his enthusiasm is matched by Daniel and his Oscar-winning wife, Rachel Weisz. 'Keira and James are very into their children's school,' a source tells me. 'They always want to get involved and now it's rubbing off on Daniel and Rachel. Their kids are in the same year, which is handy.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Daniel has additional time on his hands after walking away from the James Bond franchise in 2021. The actor's fifth and final outing as 007 in No Time To Die effectively killed off the secret agent, but Amazon Prime are looking to breathe new life into the franchise following its surprise acquisition earlier this year. Speculation has therefore been rife about who could be the next actor to don the iconic tux of James Bond after Daniel Craig relinquished the role with the latest 007 film No Time To Die. A host of names have been touted for the part since Craig's announcement, from household names such as Luther star Idris Elba to lesser known actors like Scotsman Stuart Martin. But there's a new frontrunner in line to become the next Bond as the blockbuster movie looms ever closer. That favourite is none other than The Divergent Series star Theo James, 40, according to both Ladbrokes and Coral. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The British actor has previously impressed while playing rogue, morally ambiguous characters somewhat similar to Bond in both The White Lotus and and Guy Ritchie's the Gentlemen. Theo had been one of the frontrunners for the role a couple of years ago but was bumped down odds lists after an interview in The Guardian in 2024. He told the publication: 'Everyone's interested in playing Bond because it's a big part of British cultural identity, but that probably wouldn't be me. 'I do think there are better people for that job. And honestly it would be terrifiyng... you're opening Pandora's Box.' However speculation linking the 40-year-old to the famous tux seems to have reignited in recent weeks after a number of other actors had stints as favourites, including Henry Cavill and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Ladbrokes currently have Theo leading the race with odds of 6/4, putting him above Cavill (3/1), Taylor-Johnson (7/2) and Jack Lowden (8/1) in the running. While Coral's list of candidates comes in as Theo James at 6/4, Henry Cavill (3/1), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (7/2), James Norton (6/1) then Jack Lowden (12/1). Odds placing Theo as the favourite come just a week after Superman actor Henry, 42, soared to the top of the the bookies' lists. Ladbrokes representative Cal Gildart said: 'Henry Cavill's return to the head of the Bond betting didn't last long, with Theo James as short as anyone has been to pick up the world's most famous license to kill'. Barbara Broccoli's choice for Bond was thought to be Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who was once favourite for the role, but Heyman and Pascal are likely to want to choose their own 007. Amazon bosses are currently said to be considering locations in which to set the much-anticipated new film, which experts predicted is likely to be released at the end of next year or in 2027. Due to a filming ban being imposed in Central London next year, new locations are reportedly being considered - with Liverpool a frontrunner, according to The Sun. An insider told the publication: 'This will no doubt irk Bond purists who already fear Amazon taking over the 007 franchise may lead to them making big changes. 'But Liverpool is a well-known alternative to London for film-makers. 'It has appeared in everything from The Batman to Captain America and Harry Potter movies, doubling up as international cities.' The source added that it doesn't necessarily mean the story will be set in Liverpool - though eagle-eyed Merseysiders will no doubt spot their city centre in the background. MailOnline contacted Amazon for comment about the possibility of Liverpool being the setting for the next Bond.

As Nicole Kidman suffers shocking hair blunder at Cannes, here are all celebrities you never knew wore VERY lifelike wigs - including Keira Knightley and Stacey Solomon
It's no secret that constantly changing up your hair can have a big toll on hair health - especially for celebrities who are constantly dying and styling their tresses for events. Recently, Nicole Kidman hit headlines after sporting a wig to her year's Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, which was strikingly different to her naturally curly red hair. The 57-year-old actress, who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, has previously said that she's opted for headpieces for numerous film roles, claiming her real strands are too delicate to withstand numerous hairstyles and colours. But she has now started wearing them to events, seemingly in the hopes for it to be a subtle addition to add volume to her strawberry blonde locks. However, Nicole suffered a blunder when her mesh wig cap became visible as she posed on the red carpet despite her real hair being woven into it during the 2025 Kering Women in Motion Award event. The mother-of-four is not the only star who has looked to covertly cover their thinning tresses over the years. Media personalities such as Katie Price and Stacey Solomon have opted to wear natural-looking wigs for red-carpets and TV appearances. In fact, their manes looked so convincing, that fans were shocked when they eventually divulged that their hair was fake. Keira Knightley even described how bleaching and changing her mane to fit different roles caused hair loss, revealing that she had to start wearing compelling-looking wigs for films that she starred in. Katie Price The former glamour model, 46, said she suffered drastic hair loss following the birth of her five children, Harvey, Junior, Princess Jett, and Bunny. She noticed that her hair was starting to thin out, which she believed to be as a result of numerous colour treatments coupled with the stress of parenthood. Katie went on TV show Steph's Packed Lunch in 2021 and admitted she has since resorted to wearing wigs on a regular basis in a bid to restore her shattered confidence. She said: 'I love to change my hair every day. One day I'm blonde, the next brunette. But many people might not realise this isn't my real hair. 'Me and wigs have a relationship. I absolutely love them. These days it doesn't matter if you wear a wig or not, who cares? You can have so much fun with wigs.' Hoping to break the stigma surrounding wigs, Katie insisted they were essential in helping her overcome the inevitable self-consciousness that can be caused by hair loss. She added: 'Wearing wigs isn't just a fashion choice. Like millions of women I've experienced hair loss. 'When I started modelling I had really long hair and started colouring it. I had kids and started balding, had extensions, but do you know what, I have to give my hair a rest.' The TV personality also revealed the extent of her hair loss by showing off an exposed patch of skin above her right ear. Katie added: 'Hair is very important, it's your identity. For me it is a confidence thing. 'Losing your hair can be traumatic, whatever the reason. It could be genetic, stress related or the side effects of cancer treatments like chemotherapy. I'm going to be wearing wigs all the time and showing them off.' Keira Knightley The actress, 40, said has been relying on wigs for many years as her job requires her to dye her hair to fit different roles. She had a short blonde bob in Bend It Like Beckham, a dirty blonde shoulder-length hair cut in Love Actually and wavy brunette locks in Pride and Prejudice. Kiera told Instyle UK in 2016: 'I have dyed my hair virtually every colour imaginable for different films. It got so bad that my hair literally began to fall out of my head.' The Pirates of the Caribbean star said that she was even set big boxes of products for female baldness and said that she had 'no idea' why she was gifted it. Kiera told The Cut: 'I wear wigs for films. Which is a great thing and has saved my hair, because when you are on a film set and they are doing your hair everyday and dying it a million different colours, it does tend to fall out.' Stacey Solomon The mother-of-five said she likes wearing wigs to cover up her grey hairs without having to constantly dye it and to help conceal broken strands. She revealed to her fans that she is partial to wearing a wig in 2018 when she uploaded a video of her washing the fake hair on Instagram. Stacey shampooed the wig in the bath using her knee and she couldn't stop laughing when she realised it looked like a person without a face. She said at the time: 'I thought my wig needs a wash and I thought I'll bring her in the bath with me,' as her followers expressed their shocked that she wore a wig. Stacey also wears the hairpiece to red carpet events such as the National Television Awards (NTAs). She filmed herself ripping off her long blonde tresses which were glued to her head in a candid video, showing her followers all the work that really goes into polishing her appearance for a big evening out. The former X-Factor star said years of after of bleaching and styling has meant that her natural tresses 'are ruined'. Stacey previously told The Sun: 'After years of bleaching, tonging, blow-drying and straightening, my natural hair is completely ruined. 'People always warned me not to dye my hair too much or use too much heat but I ignored their advice. I always wanted to go blonder, straighter, slicker. The result? Wiry, broken strands and a psoriasis-ridden scalp. Stress causes flare-ups and it's so damn itchy.' Stacey said that the only way she can get her natural hair back is to stop styling it, adding that it would be 'impossible' not to touch it. She added: 'My roots are 50 per cent ash brown, 50 per cent grey. I'm in my late 20s and it's so depressing. I don't want to look really old.' The TV personality spent £1,000 on a blonde wig made from human hair that she named Suze, labelling it as an 'investment' that would last at least a decade. Katy Perry The singer, 40, has been rocking wigs since she her first couple of albums, especially her 2010 hit song California Gurls. The music video saw her change her hair a whopping four times from a lilac wig to a sapphire wig, brunette pigtails and her signature black fringed bouncy blow-dry. So it's therefore no secret that Katy likes to don the occasional hairpiece every now and then. In 2021, she ditched her platinum tresses in favour of a black wig for the American Idol episode that she starred in. Katy was also interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel wearing her black hair and joked that 'everything is fake' after revealing she was, again, wearing wig which was tucked behind her blonde strands. Last April, the mother-of-one posted that she was getting her raven-black hair cut short into a bob again, mirroring the look she used to wear in her heyday. But after fans commented that they were getting 'flashbacks' over the hairstyle, Katy then went on to reveal that she was wearing a wig. She later said on Instagram: 'You guys had a lot of strong feelings about my haircut. 'Let's see that energy for KP6, 'cause this is just a wig.' Vicky Pattison The Geordie Shore personality, 37, said that she loves bond and clip-in extensions but said that constantly having them in her hair can take its toll on the health of her strands. Vicky has previously uploaded Instagram images of herself donning an array of different hairstyles over the years. In 2020, the broadcaster showcased a sleek new bob haircut in a bid to copy Victoria Beckham's Posh Spice hairdo. However, she joked that she looked more like Edna from the Incredibles. A year later, Vicky temporarily traded in her blonde locks for a curly raven-haired look - a drastic change from her natural hairstyle. She wrote: 'Curly Sue Coming through…. Ok, so this wig makes me miss my dark hair.' The reality TV star also shared a video in the same year saying that she had been working hard to get her hair 'as healthy and strong as it could be' again. She gave her natural tresses a break by donning various wigs, allowing her natural hair to grow underneath. Kylie Jenner The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 27, was a big fan of wigs in her 'King Kylie' era in the mid-2010s. Every week, the youngest Jenner sister would seemingly have a new hairstyle every week, from bubble-gum blue hair to pink braids and even sage green. Kylie certainly differentiated herself from her model sister Kendall, who has opted for relatively tame hairstyles and colours in comparison to her younger sibling. The mother-of-two even believes that she started the trend of wearing wigs She told Marie Claire in 2016: 'I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs. Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last night...I just do whatever I want to do, and people will follow.' It's believed that Kylie has even influenced celebrities such as Chloe Ferry to start wearing wigs as the Geordie Shore star was often compared to her in 2017. Jesy Nelson The former Little Mix band member, 33, is another celebrity who has loved wearing wigs over the years to switch up her style without harming her locks. In 2020, Jesy - who has naturally curly brunette hair - uploaded an image of herself sporting a long straight platinum blonde wig. In 2021, she released the music video to her song Boyz featuring Nicki Minaj and had a different look in every shot. This included long red tresses with braids, brown sleek straight hair, and chocolate-permed hair with hints of blonde. Over the years, she has never tried to hide the fact that she steps out in different headpieces, as she filmed herself trying on different looks in 2022. The first wig, which Jesy tried on was long white straight hair, while the second was voluminous brunette curls with blonde highlights. This came after she shortly revealed her real tresses after ditching the hair extensions and wigs, captioning the photo: 'Natural hair is finally healthy again'. Chloe Ferry The Geordie Shore star, 29, is a natural brunette but has extensively dyed her hair blonde throughout the years. The constant bleaching and extensions damaged her mane and she was forced to turn to wearing wigs to cover up her ruined tresses. In 2019, when she was 23, Chloe stepped out with a friend and images showed her fried, matted yellow hair. She wore her blonde locks loose and styled in a side parting, but as she turned away the damage was clear to see on the back of her head. The reality TV star has since turned to wigs to disguise the damage over the years, including a blonde wig shortly after the damage to her hair was revealed, a long curly red hairpiece and a short choppy brunette bob. Chloe even launched wigs via her beauty line Chloe Ferry Cosmetics, where she is currently selling blonde, pink and purple wigs for upwards of £35.

Why Gen Z and millennial women are ditching the dating apps and opting for Mr Darcy
Some single women have Bridget Jones. Others have Jane Austen. Increasingly, after spending a lot of time in big knickers, my female friends and I are falling into the latter faction. Just last week, one of them sent me a meme from Pride and Prejudice – the 2005 film (obviously) starring Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet and Matthew Macfadyen as Mr Darcy. 'You have bewitched me body and soul,' says Macfadyen, who, in the role of Darcy, has transformed from a misanthropic f*** boy into a full-blown lovestruck heartthrob. 'And I love, I love, I love you,' he continues. 'And wish from this day forth never to be parted from you.' Over the top of the reel, a quote read: 'It's always 'wyd' and never 'yhbmbasaililily'.' To those unfamiliar with textspeak, the former can be translated to, 'what you doing?' and the latter is an acronym for the aforementioned Darcy quote that myself and literally every other single woman I know would love to hear. If for nothing else than to diversify a lexical canon that is mostly comprised of phrases such as: 'wuu2', 'wanna hang out 2nyt?', and 'I'm not looking for anything serious.' Clearly, I'm not alone. The reel in question has been liked more than 137,000 times. 'GIVE ME THIS MAN NOW,' reads one of the hundreds of comments. 'Bring back yearning,' begs another. On top of that, Spotify recently reported a 75 per cent week-on-week spike in listens to the Pride and Prejudice audiobook since Netflix announced its incoming adaptation written by Dolly Alderton and starring Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden and Olivia Colman. Streams of the BBC adaptations soundtrack have also soared by 120 per cent, The Times reports, noting that Strictly Jane Austen Tours has also seen a 50 per cent boost in bookings in the last six months, with a noticeable surge in Gen Z and millennial clients. Frankly, I'm not remotely surprised. With modern-day dating rituals sucking the life out of all of us, one half-hearted swipe at a time, it makes sense that single people are craving a return to a simpler time, one without smartphones, dating apps and invitations to 'Netflix and Chill'. Austen's Regency era sounds so much more inviting. Without the mind-numbing madness of technology, romance was free to blossom more organically with rituals such as courtship, where couples would go on walks together to get to know each other before agreeing to be involved. Sometimes, the women would be accompanied by chaperones to ensure they were respected throughout the exchange. I daren't think about the litany of disastrous dates I could've been spared had a benevolent chaperone been by my side. Obviously there are some archaisms best left in the past (single women were practically second-class citizens) and many of the ones we know about (think Bridgerton-style balls) would've been reserved for the upper echelons of British society. But even marginally less old-fashioned traditions, such as writing love letters, walking someone home, and generally just taking a little more time and care over the whole dating process, would be a welcome change to our current romantic reality. Or at the very least, an antidote to some of its deeply modern brutalities: yes, ghosting is still a thing. Don't get me wrong, my friends and I are still 'on the apps', as we say. But we're trying hard to wean ourselves off and look for love in the wild instead. Although to be completely honest, it's not something I'm desperate to find right away. Because I know that I could open my phone and, within a matter of minutes, probably find someone quite quickly. Not a long-term partner, necessarily, but a fling. The kind who I could spend one night with only to never hear from again until, out of nowhere, they send a 1am text: 'wyd?' It might take a little longer but I think it would be worth it to wait a while longer in the hope of eventually receiving a more comprehensive message. One that says, oh I don't know, let's go with: 'yhbmbasaililily'.

Chanel is bringing its most recent Cruise 2026 show from Lake Como to Singapore in November
French fashion house Chanel will stage a replica show of its Cruise 2026 collection in Singapore on Nov 4. As a 'dynamic and multicultural city', Singapore stands as a 'unique gateway to Asia,' Chanel said in a press release. The Cruise 2026 collection was first unveiled in Lake Como, Italy on Apr 29. The fashion show took place at Villa d'Este, a historic property originally built in 1568 by Italian painter, architect and sculptor, Pellegrino Tibaldi as a private villa. A total of 69 looks were unveiled, including straight-cut trousers, a pea coat in vibrant strawberry pink, dramatic capes, oversized poolside bags and other bold accessories. Celebrities Keira Knightley, Lupita Nyong'o, Margaret Qualley, Fala Chen and Singaporean actress Tasha Low were in attendance. Chanel did not disclose the exact location of its upcoming replica show in Singapore. The house previously staged a Cruise show in Singapore in 2013. The collection, designed by the late Karl Lagerfeld, was presented at Loewen Cluster in Dempsey Hill. A Cruise collection, also known as a Resort or Holiday collection, is usually launched between a brand's fall/winter and spring/summer collections. Bridging the gap between seasons, it was historically designed to offer clients who were escaping the winter suitable pieces for travel to warmer climates. Today, Cruise collections cater to a wider audience with versatile, comfortable and timeless pieces.
