Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sanchez's Luxurious Gift For Their A-List Wedding Guests Revealed

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding guests are set to receive an expensive gift made by a local artisan. Besides the gift, guests will also reportedly be treated to luxurious treats from a local bakery during the wedding. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez definitely plan to go all out for their big day, as a new report claims the couple has rented an entire island to celebrate their wedding. Ahead of Bezos and Sanchez's wedding, a source revealed to the Daily Mail one of the luxurious gifts the couple plans to give their guests. According to the insider, each attendee will receive handcrafted glassware made by the local artisan brand Laguna B. The glass pieces come in a variety of motifs and designs, featuring bright colors, stripes, and floral patterns. One large-sized cup from the collection retails for $167, although it is unclear how much the soon-to-be couple paid to have the gift item made for their guests. Alongside this glassware, guests will also receive other 'opulent' gifts for attending. What these gifts are remains unclear as the couple continues to keep details about their weddings under wraps. However, the outlet did suggest that Sanchez, being a fan of fun designer purses, may include such items as part of the souvenirs for guests. A source also shared that Bezos and Sanchez rented out the prestigious island of San Giorgio Maggiore from June 24 to June 29, reportedly the date of their wedding festivities. The island is home to a 16th-century Benedictine church of the same name, built in Renaissance style, which may be where the couple exchanges their vows. Off the coast of the island, Bezos's $500 million superyacht Koru will be moored. The vessel, which is 127m long, is also expected to play a part in the festivities. According to the insider, the soon-to-be couple has already secured a private tender service to carry guests to and fro from the vessel during the celebration. They have also reserved 60 of Venice's water taxis and 400 gondolas, which will most likely serve as part of the other logistics arrangements. As for accommodations, the couple's guests have reportedly reserved most of the top hotels in the city. This includes The Aman Venice, where rooms cost over $2,700 per night, and Hotel Cipriani, which, though slightly less expensive, still comes in at a steep $2,000 per night. An earlier report from The Sun also revealed that Sanchez and Bezos booked the Grand Canal Suite at the five-star Aman Venice at a whopping $11,600 per night. '[It is] the biggest they have, and it's the talk of the hotel,' a source told the outlet at the time. "The room is spectacular and even has access to a rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Other expected guests, including reality stars such as the Kardashians, were said to have booked suites in the hotel due to its exclusivity. "The wedding is set to be a huge affair, and the Kardashians are also said to be staying at the hotel, along with other high-profile guests,' the source added. "It's a spectacular palazzo that's the most exclusive hotel in Venice.' As Bezos and Sanchez's upcoming nuptials draw near, it has also been revealed that the duo has hired Grammy Award-winning singers Lady Gaga and Elton John to serenade them on their special day. "Lauren wanted some big talent to sing for them, and it just doesn't get any bigger than Gaga and Elton," a source told the Daily Mail. They continued, "It also helps that Gaga and Elton are good friends and were happy to do it together, which is cool. It will be like a mini vacation for the besties." Prior to dating Sanchez, Bezos was married to MacKenzie Scott from 1993 until 2019. The two had no prenuptial agreement in place, which led to Bezos parting with over $38 billion worth of Amazon shares. According to sources, the tech mogul will now have Sanchez sign an ironclad prenup to avoid a similar situation in case their marriage fails. "Jeff Bezos doesn't just want a prenup, he wants a prenup that will survive any legal challenge," longtime California lawyer Alphonse Provinziano recently informed RadarOnline. Provinziano also shared that Bezos would need to be fully transparent about his assets to prevent them from being used as a loophole to get the prenup thrown out in court. "For someone as rich as Bezos, that means preparing documentation of the complex accounting arrangements and business deals he's involved in so that she couldn't later claim that he hid certain assets from her,' the attorney added.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez request unique wedding gifts from their star guests; check what

As Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez gear up for their three-day wedding celebration in Venice, Italy, latest reports suggest that the billionaire and his to-be wife have been discreetly ensuring that the city receives its dues. From their choice of vendors to wedding gift requests and secret donations to local charities, every detail of the $500 million celebration aboard Bezos' luxury yacht, Koru, has been carefully curated to reflect their philanthropic values. According to a Page Six report, citing a source, the couple had discreetly donated to local charities back in April as part of their wedding planning. Even their wedding guests, a star-studded list of nearly 200 A-listers, including Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, and Ivanka Trump, have been requested to make donations in their name as wedding gifts. Page Six reported that the guests were notified in May that, in lieu of wedding gifts, the couple was making contributions in honour of attendees so that 'Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come'. Another report from the news agency Associated Press said that the couple is sourcing nearly 80 per cent of their wedding goods from Venetian vendors, including Rosa Salva, the city's oldest pastry maker, and Murano glass blower Laguna B. Several reports also suggested that the wedding guests will receive a keepsake from Laguna B, which is known for its colourful cups, called goti de fornasa. Despite the couple's efforts to give back to the City of Waters, their nuptials have drawn backlash from local Venetians who are protesting the impact of overtourism. The protest group 'No Space for Bezos' has taken credit for hanging banners on Venice landmarks such as the Rialto Bridge and the San Giorgio Maggiore basilica. However, Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro has welcomed the wedding, saying it will have a 'million-dollar' economic impact on local businesses.

A Designer Places Furniture in Her Bedroom as Pieces of Art

The more rooms the interior designer Alyssa Kapito imagines, the choosier she is about the contents inside. Her edited interiors tend to leave space around furniture and accessories that allow pieces to be admired individually rather than burying them in too much decorative fluff. 'I think I've isolated what my passions are,' said Ms. Kapito, 38. 'I love collecting. I love auctions. And I love furniture as art.' That interest culminated in Galerie Alyssa Kapito, an arm of her studio she launched in 2023 to sell vintage furniture and limited-edition products she designs such as glass vases for the Venetian company Laguna~B. Ms. Kapito also recently spent a year-and-a-half creating a new home for her family on Manhattan's Upper East Side by gut renovating a 1920s apartment that was in estate condition. The resulting space is a serene retreat that celebrates her artful finds, even with three young children running about. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.
