Sydney ‘it girl's' controversial fashion choice turns heads

Sydney's own 'it girl' and jewellery designer Emma Pillemer – better known as Emma Pills – was spotted this week looking rather summery, despite Sydney's increasingly chilly weather. The star, who boasts over 100,000 Instagram followers and is known to rub shoulders with Hollywood elites, was on her way to the renowned Kristin Fisher Eyebrows salon in Double Bay when she turned heads with an eye-catching outfit. The 24-year-old entrepreneur, who founded the cult namesake jewellery brand, is known for her eclectic and laid-back fashion sense, and her trademark style was on full display during her recent beauty trip. The star stepped out in a pair of low-waisted baggy jeans and a cropped yellow top that showed off her midriff. She accessorised her look with gold hoop earrings, hair clips and playful pink handbag that had a fluffy pink pony toy attached to it. Pillemer, who appeared on Channel 7's Made in Bondi, completed the look with chunky black Chanel glasses and a controversial choice of footwear - Ugg boots. While many believe the slippers are a classic errand essential, a debate erupted earlier in the month about whether or not they are appropriate outside footwear. Laura Henshaw and Steph Claire Smith were discussing the topic on their podcast, when Henshaw admitted she wears them outside when overseas but would never be caught dead wearing them back home in Australia. She said she believed there was a perception that the footwear choice was 'bogan' when worn outside, whereas, when she's travelling to places like New York, they're seen as 'chic'. Pillemer chose to embrace the controversy, sporting a pair of classic brown Uggs. In true 'slashie' style (those with multiple jobs), she was multi-tasking and looking between two separate iPhones while walking down the street. To finish off her outfit, and in a subtly cool nod to her Y2K style, she had wire earphones dangling from her pockets. Pillemer's visit to Kristin Fisher Eyebrows comes as no surprise to those familiar with Sydney's Eastern Suburbs beauty scene and its celebrity brow artist owner, Kristin Fisher. The boutique salon is renowned for its luxurious experience and is often frequented by big names and influencers. Pillemer, who grew up in the Eastern Suburbs, lives in her family's $30 million Vaucluse mansion that boasts a tennis court, pool, and uninterrupted Sydney Harbour views. Her father, Russell Pillemer, co-founded the ASX-listed funds management group Pengana in 2003 and has been its CEO since. The company currently has a market cap of $92.54 million. The heiress has made a name for herself founding her jewellery brand and becoming one of Sydney's favourite influencers. She made headlines last year after she was spotted with YouTuber David Dobrik doing a 'servo run'. She was wearing a cropped singlet and pyjama pants, which captured the attention of paparazzi - as did her celebrity friend. 'Those photos are the definition of 'I don't dress for the cameras – I dress how I want to dress,' and that's about it,' she told last year. 'If I'm tired, I'm in my pyjamas. It was a tragic outfit, but it was a hungover movie day. They caught me at my finest!' She's also BFFs with Dixie D'Amelio, who made a trip Down Under recently to visit her friend as well.

Busty Aussie heiress and TV star goes topless in Vegas as she enjoys wild birthday weekend

Aussie reality TV star and heiress Emma Pillemer went topless in Las Vegas while kicking off her 24th birthday celebrations. The Made In Bondi star shared a highlight reel from her wild birthday week at several casinos on Monday. The petite blonde, who boasts 122,000 followers on Instagram, took to the social media platform to share photos and videos indulging in cocktails, lounging poolside, flaunting her Emma Pills jewellery brand on her manicured fingers, and posing in raunchy micro bikinis. In one photo, her friend wore an oversized T-shirt that read, 'Hot Boys Wear Emma Pills.' In another, she flashed her bare chest to the streets of Vegas from her hotel room window. Emma travelled to Vegas in the latest stop on her whirlwind US party tour, documenting taking her private plane 'to the club' on TikTok. The Made In Bondi star has been crisscrossing from New York City, to Indio, California for the Revolve Festival and Coachella, to Miami, Florida in recent weeks. Just three years ago, Emma celebrated her 21st birthday with a star-studded party at her family's mansion in Vaucluse — that included a cohort of models walking a makeshift runway dripping in her 'Afterparty' jewellery collection. This was her Australian Fashion Week debut, with Emma walking her own runway in a Saint Laurent catsuit before kicking up her heels. This year, Emma swapped AFW for a trucker hat and slogan hoodies as she took her 'It' girl lifestyle, and her brand, international. It comes after a dramatic fallout with her former mentor, friend, and investor Natasha 'Tash' Oakley, 34, the founder of Monday Swimwear. Oakley initially invested in Pillemer's brand and even took on the role of CEO, but their relationship soured, and the It Girl power duo are said to have 'bad blood.' The Monday Swimwear founder has also deleted Emma Pills from her Instagram bio after it was reported that Oakley invested as much as $1million in the company in 2023. Instead, Emma spent her birthday weekend with 30-year-old Zach Justice, an American actor, writer, and content creator with a devoted following of over 9 million across his social media platforms. 'So glad I got to spend your birthday with you!' he commented on Emma's post. 'Poker champ,' she responded coyly. Originally from Sydney's eastern suburbs, Emma is one of the Aussie 'It' girls who often lives it up in the US. Best known for the eye-catching jewellery she designs for her eponymous brand, and her starring role on reality TV show Made in Bondi, the vivacious party girl is fast making a name for herself in business and social circles on both sides of the Pacific. The daughter of a high-profile fund manager who founded one of Sydney's most powerful investment firms alongside former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, Emma could've been forgiven for embracing the easy lifestyle of a trust-fund baby. But instead, she launched her own brand just a year after finishing high school and quickly earned her first million, while also making a name for herself as the socialite queen bee of Gen Z. She keeps her private life mainly under wraps but has provided various glimpses into her Hollywood connections. Most notably, she was spotted partying with controversial U.S. YouTuber David Dobrik in 2023, wearing a racy stripper costume complete with a temporary 'daddy's little monster' tattoo. Emma was seen with him again in January 2025, on an outing to the servo wearing her pyjamas. Her father Russel Pillemer co-founded diversified funds management group Pengana in 2003, and with wife Carole raised their four children, including Emma, in New York City before making the move to Australia. Once in Sydney, Emma was enrolled at the prestigious Moriah College, a $45,000-per-year Jewish primary and secondary school located in ritzy Queens Park, her attendance ensuring impeccable society connections. But despite Emma's privileged upbringing, the bold young designer turned down the corporate lifestyle her father is known for in favour of glitz, glamour, and fashion.

Olivia Molly Roger's ex-boyfriend Morgan Waterhouse debuts new relationship with glamorous girlfriend

Morgan Waterhouse has debuted a new relationship with glamorous girlfriend Bella Cicero, five months after he split from ex Olivia Molly Rogers. The model, 30, began dating the former Miss Universe Australia, 33, in May last year following her divorce from Justin McKeone, but they parted ways seven months later. Now, it seems Morgan has moved on from their messy breakup and found love with his new fling, 32, who he showed off at Amiss' runway show INTENTION on Friday. The pair looked every inch the happy new couple as they arrived wearing matching all-black ensembles. They were all smiles as they cuddled up for photos, with Bella putting on a leggy display in a wrap-around dress with stockings. Morgan flaunted his sculpted chest with a loose suit jacket which gaped open over his naked torso. It's unclear when exactly Morgan and Bella first connected, but a short clip of her could be seen buried in a montage video he posted to Instagram in April. It seems to be the only appearance either of them have made on each other's socials so far. Nevertheless, there is plenty to know about Bella thanks to her stint on Made in Bondi and Made in Chelsea: Sydney before that. The Perth-born model attended the affluent girls' school Iona Presentation College on a cello scholarship, but now splits her time between Bondi and Burleigh Heads, QLD. The influencer previously dated Sydney Swans star Isaac Heeney and was linked to both Tristan Phipps and Reza Amiri-Garrroussi from Made in Chelsea: Sydney. Her appearance with Morgan comes after he appeared to take a dig at his ex Olivia with a brutal TikTok post in December. He shared a video to the app which detailed what he was looking for in a woman. Among the traits he was seeking were '5'5, honest, obsessed with me, loyal' and 'loves puppies'. Morgan added he wanted a woman who 'loves their family' - but he also appeared to take a shot at Olivia. 'Hasn't won a beauty pageant,' he wrote, seemingly referring to Olivia, who was Miss Universe Australia in 2017. He went on to list negative traits he did not want in a future partner, including 'isn't a narcissist', 'doesn't cheat' and 'doesn't gaslight me'. It's unclear who, if anyone, Morgan was referring to in the remainder of his list, or if he was just listing traits he found unattractive. Olivia confirmed her split with former husband Justin McKeone in October 2022, after eight months of marriage. She began dating Morgan in May last year, but the pair parted ways in December. Olivia told photographers at the Melbourne Cup earlier this year the pair broke off their relationship and have already gone their separate ways. 'We're not together anymore, not many people know that,' she said when asked if he would be joining her at the Penfolds marquee in The Birdcage. Olivia has also since moved on from her relationship with Morgan, as she is now dating her new beau Hugo Breakey. The brunette beauty went public with her new man last year when the pair attended the premiere of Beauty and the Beast in Melbourne. Days later, some light was shed on the hunk's identity with the model having not yet named him online. Instagram account Aussie Influencer Opinions posted to Instagram Stories, claiming at the time the handsome fella is called Hugo. 'He's a consultant in Melbourne at a prestigious firm that only recruits the smartest cookies,' they claimed. Hugo is said to have been quietly dating Olivia for several months following her split from model Morgan Waterhouse after seven months.
