Naomi Campbell teases huge music plans after gatecrashing DJ set in Kings Cross
Supermodel icon Naomi Campbell has revealed she has more than a duet with Miley Cyrus up her sleeve as she prepares to unleash her long held music chart ambitions Naomi Campbell stunned members of the public when she rocked up to crash the DJ set of a street performer. The iconic 55-year-old supermodel has been dipping her toes into the world of music and has been promoting her upcoming new work. On Wednesday, the catwalk star, joined by former Vogue magazine editor Edward Enninful, travelled to King's Cross where social media sensation DJ AG was performing a set. With a huge crowd already around the DJ, fans began screaming with even more excitement when they noticed Naomi approaching the decks. A stunned DJ AG asked the pair: "What brings you to King's Cross? What's going on?" With Edward, 53, replying; "We heard you were here and we wanted to hang out with you. We've been seeing you everywhere." Naomi then said: "We were going to the Tate and I was like, 'No, we've got to stop! We've got to stop!'" Handling the A List stars with confidence and ease, AG then asked Naomi about her own upcoming music projects. She beamed: "Tomorrow, actually, my video comes out with Miley Cyrus, yeah. We're actually working on the remix, right now." He then asked her why they couldn't remix the track in King's Cross, and the model promised: "I'll come back." And it appears Naomi has grand plans for her fledgling music career. She teased: "I've been producing and I will be on some other tracks, and having fun with music... I've decided I'm living my life. I'm living." DJ AG agreed, saying: "And that's how it should be, because life is too short, right?" The trio also highlighted the fact that Edward is launching his own magazine, called 73 Magazine, in September - with Naomi praising him for his work at Vogue in the past. Naomi has recorded a disco track titled Every Girl You've Ever Loved - providing her vocals on the single by Miley Cyrus. The pair sparked a sensation this week when they attended a music shop together to sign copies of the track for fans. Many fans stood in line for hours to meet the A List stars - but fans noticed Miley and Naomi were more interested in chatting to each other than interacting with fans. Photos from the event went viral as disheartened fans stood by glumly as the celebrities carried on with their business seemingly without looking up. Naomi's collaboration with Miley is not her first foray into the world of music. As an iconic model, she has been associated with music, thanks to appearances in music videos with the likes of Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, and George Michael. She sang with Vanilla Ice in a special version of his single Cool as Ice (Everybody Get Loose), and also featured on the Toshinobu Kubota single La La La Love Song. She released the album Baby Woman in 1994 but the record was met with negative reviews and failed to crack the music charts. However the NME did award her something of a backhanded compliment. Their review stated: "Naomi Campbell's debut singing effort is stubbornly not as bad as it should be. Her voice is an inoffensive, ineffectual whining alto, but that's not a problem."

Miley Cyrus fires back after claims of being 'dismissive' towards fans
Miley Cyrus appears to have fired back after claims of being "dismissive" towards fans. The 32-year-old pop star joined supermodel Naomi Campbell for a special vinyl album signing event for her new record Something Beautiful — which features Naomi on the track Every Girl You've Ever Loved — in London over the weekend. A video from the event at record store Rough Trade East shows the two stars chatting amongst themselves behind a table. In the footage, fans can be seen approaching the table from the other side and awkwardly posing for a photo as Miley briefly glances up, smiles and then continues her conversation as they sign the LPs. A fan on Reddit branded Miley "so inconsiderate and dismissive", while others called her "rude". On Tuesday (June 24), the Flowers hitmaker seemed to address the backlash as she shared a professional photo of herself and Naomi at the event, as well as several videos of them smiling and interacting with fans. She wrote on Instagram: "Our vinyl was originally set to drop a week later, but since we were both in London @roughtradeeast made it happen day of. "I wanted to gift my Smilers an exclusive experience and unreleased vinyl to thank you for the love you've shown me in the UK over the years. I saw so many familiar faces and met some sweet new ones. "The record store requested no photos due to the unexpected last minute turn out but we knew the night needed to be captured. "Thank you @vijatm for snapping those in the moment shots. To everyone who came out to celebrate our single, we love you." [embed] Miley recently hit out at the criticism she received earlier in her career when she shunned her Disney Channel persona for a more raunchy image. Asked what she sees when she looks back at her image from 2013, she told the New York Times newspaper: "I see adults not acting like it. I would never look at someone that's 18, 19, 20, 21 years old and judge them as an adult, because they're not yet. "At one point, there was even a petition. It was like 'Millions of Moms Against Miley' or something. "Isn't that crazy, this petition? In 2013, maybe that performance felt really shocking, but when you watch it back, it really wasn't that wild. I was dressed as a teddy bear." [[nid:719375]]

Miley Cyrus fires back after fans accuse her of being 'rude' at signing event
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Miley Cyrus appears to have hit back after facing serious heat over 'ignoring' fans at a meet and greet, instead chatting to Naomi Campbell. The duo were in London for the launch of Miley's album film Something Beautiful, having collaborated on new single, Every Girl You've Ever Loved. Eager fans waited in line for the chance to meet the Flowers hitmaker and the legendary supermodel — but that excitement didn't last long. Those who had queued for hours at the Rough Trade store were left disappointed and many felt the duo had 'ignored' them. As seen on Naomi's own live stream, Miley, 32, and the 55-year-old star chatted away at the table. They said hi as a fan approached them but returned to their conversation while she quietly stood in front of them. After being prompted by the fan, Miley said 'nice to meet you' and signed the vinyl as someone behind the camera said 'right behind you gorge[ous]' and the trio awkwardly posed for a picture. Now Miley has posted on social media, seemingly responding to the backlash, and giving an explanation to the footage. 'Our vinyl was originally set to drop a week later, but since we were both in London @roughtradeeast made it happen day of,' she began on Instagram. 'I wanted to gift my Smilers an exclusive experience & unreleased vinyl to thank you for the love you've shown me in the UK over the years. 'I saw so many familiar faces & met some sweet new ones. The record store requested no photos due to the unexpected last minute turn out but we knew the night needed to be captured. 'Thank you @vijatm for snapping those in the moment shots. To everyone who came out to celebrate our single, we love you.' Miley initially posted on Instagram that she 'adored' meeting the fans and thanking them for attending the signing. She opened her post by praising Naomi for making her laugh, thanking her for coming and adding: 'I'll miss you until we reunite. Love you forever.' The Climb icon was torn apart in the comments by disgruntled fans, blasting her for not 'reading the room'. 'Sorry to everyone who went and got a photo with them talking to one another,' commented leannems, which racked up almost 2,000 likes. 'The way you ignored your fans lol,' said emmanvelsoto as danttttas added: 'girl, i mean, READ THE ROOM.' 'Girl you were very rude to your fans at this signing,' slammed blackmagicblues while andresilvaf said: 'Treat your fans better next time.' 'Absolutely shocking behaviour of you pair on the signing… These are your fans Miley, they can quickly change their minds,' warned gregggless. Some did defend Miley, with X account The Miley Cyrus HQ writing: 'With the whole Naomi x Miley incident all I can say is… 'She paid for ALL the vinyls. Her Instagram only said 'signed vinyl' and she literally was there. That's a bonus. She did NOT have to be there. It was one interaction out of a 100. That's a 1 % 'error'. TLDR: stfu.' Miley has a long history of being interactive with her fans as well as plenty of philanthropic work supporting homeless people and LGBTQ+ youth. However, this film release has already faced some backlash as fans thought they were paying $800 for a concert – not a film premiere. At New York's Beacon Theatre on June 6, the hour-long film debuted but complaints emerged claiming they'd been misled into believing the premiere would feature a live performance. The Wrecking Ball hitmaker did launch into a cappella rendition of The Climb (from her Hannah Montana days) in response. Miley and Naomi have not addressed the controversy, with the Angels Like You singer posting multiple Instagrams in the wake of the meet and greet. More Trending She penned: 'Getting lost in London… dancing with you all to the music was heaven. I've never experienced the film like this before.' In a subtle response, she posted plenty of pictures of fans having a good time at her intimate gig, with one snap showing her taking a selfie with someone in the crowd.
