Shin Seung Ho, the skilled South Korean actor, has revealed a previously unknown injury, thereby also confirming his exemption from military service. As all able-bodied men need to enlist for national duty after the age of 18, Shin Seung Ho's military hiatus was an expected happening for the fans. However, a new report by TenAsia on June 18 revealed how the actor has been exempted from service. His agency confirmed an ACL as the cause behind his change in military plans. KINGKONG by Starship's response to Shin Seung Ho's military exemption According to another update from Sports Chosun revealed why Shin Seung Ho has not announced his military enlistment despite turning 30 this year. They shared, 'Shin Seung Ho underwent surgery for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament or an ACL while performing personal schedules in 2021, and was subsequently exempted from military service.' The initial report claimed that while the injury happened in the middle of a drama production schedule, Shin Seung Ho was able to wrap his filming successfully due to the kind consideration of the staff members on set. He is said to have undergone surgery to repair his ACL, and took the physical exam determining his military grade. As a result of the examination, he was deemed unfit for active service and was granted an exception, exempting him from it. The K-dramas in question could have been D.P., which shot him to fame or Alchemy of Souls, which remains one of Shin Seung Ho's most talked about roles so far alongside Weak Hero Class 1. The shows released in 2021 and 2022, respectively, match the alleged timeline of events. Meanwhile, born on November 11, 1995, the actor was planning a career in football, which is said to have passed without any major injuries. He then moved to modeling with his 6'1' frame, gaining praise. When he finally moved to acting in 2018, Shin Seung Ho earned the long-overdue flowers for his work.

Girl Group IHOTEU Disbands Following Member Mina's Affair With Agency CEO
Pop groups can disband for many reasons, like financial issues or lack of popularity. However, Korean girl group IHOTEU (이호테우) recently ended activities after one of its members was exposed for having an affair with the company's CEO. Earlier this week, TenAsia released a bombshell expose about JDB Entertainment CEO Lee Kang Hee. According to the report, the label executive, who is married with two children, was allegedly having an extramarital affair with a girl group member under his subsidiary company, EFG Music. Sources say the two would frequently meet alone after official schedules, and photos showed them hugging and holding hands. Given the information provided by the report, the girl group member was revealed to be IHOTEU member Mina. IHOTEU is a live idol trio composed of members Mina, Negi and Amu. The trio debuted in 2024 but is known for performing in small live houses. Following the reports of Mina's affair with Lee Kang Hee, the group announced that she would immediately halt her activities. However, shortly after, the group shockingly announced their disbandment. In the follow-up statement, IHOTEU said all three members have mutually agreed to terminate their contracts with their agency. EFG Music said they decided to disband the group after considering the members' artistic direction and emotional well-being. However, the company will continue to support Negi and Amu's activities as long as it aligns with prior agreements. At the same time, Lee Kang Hee confirmed his affair with Mina and reportedly stepped down from his position as EFG Music's CEO. Internal staff are currently overseeing operations following his departure. However, all future decisions, including whether to continue to operate the label, will be determined after internal discussions and legal consultations. According to a previous report by The Korea Times, Kim Soo Hyun was reportedly in a relationship with a fellow actor and K-pop idol during his military service, spanning roughly from 2016 to 2019. The two are said to have grown close while working under the same agency, KEYEAST, which Kim joined in 2010 after parting ways with M. Boat. In 2019, Kim Soo Hyun left KEYEAST and went on to establish his own agency, GOLDMEDALIST, alongside his cousin, director Lee Sa Rang. NJZ/NewJeans saga so far: Parents suing TenAsia for fake news, NJZ hate accounts shutter
SEOUL, Feb 16 — The parents of NJZ (formerly NewJeans) members are suing TenAsia for an article they say is misleading, claiming that the group has already signed with talent agency BANA. It's been a rough last few weeks for the group with constant rumours circulating, ADOR's attempt to block the media from using the group's new name, ADOR also claiming it was in the process of renewing member Hanni's visa. NJZ had confirmed that they had already renewed Hanni's visa despite ADOR's statements. Meanwhile fans have noticed that of late large accounts on X (formerly Twitter) that had been spamming NJZ hate have quietly shuttered with the most noticeable being users @aespannjeans and @ jinjjinss being deactivated after threats of legal action against them as well as @Sniper71232 another profilic hate account. As of now NJZ has been confirmed to perform on March 23 at the ComplexCon event at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, teasing new music for the event. However ADOR has filed injunctions to declare the contract with the group is still valid and it's likely the legal wrangling will continue on for some time.
