Unfortunately for Poland, their superstar player, Robert Lewandowski, will not be playing in these qualifying matches. Initially, this was due to not being fit to play, but it was later revealed that he does not want to play for Polish coach Michal Probierz. He will be a massive loss for the club, but they still have confidence they can rally without him, and might be better off, chemistry-wise. The Finland squad will rely on some combination of Oliver Antman and Joel Pohjanpalo on the offensive side of things. They have both scored a goal in three international matches and will look to take advantage of a Lewandowski-less Poland team. They are second in Group G, right behind their competitor in this matchup. This is a great World Cup qualifier matchup; make sure to tune in and catch all the action. Sven Hoppe/dpa Germany defender Robin Koch has extended his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt two years ahead of schedule, signing a deal until 2030, the Bundesliga club said on Tuesday. Koch initially joined on loan from Leeds United for the 2023-24 season before then signing permanently for the German club. Advertisement He was linked to a move to Bayer Leverkusen, but has decided to stay at Frankfurt, where he will also be able to play in the Champions League next season. "I often listen to my gut feeling, and in this case it told me fairly early on that it was only right to extend my contract," the player said. "Eintracht Frankfurt was exactly the right place for me two years ago and it still is now. There's lots I still want to achieve here." Board member for sport Markus Krösche added: "We've managed to tie down an absolutely key player, which is an important statement. Robin is an important component of Eintracht Frankfurt and has played a big part in our success, helping to lead this very young team."

Real Madrid Legend Guti Criticizes Lamine Yamal over Press Conference Fashion

Rana Atef On Monday, Real Madrid legend Guti boldly criticized Barcelona's promising star Lamine Yamal, especially his fashion during press conferences. The Barcelona teenager presented one of his lowest performances with Spain in the final of the 2025 UEFA Nations League. Moreover, his statements before the game motivated a lot of fans to criticize Yamal, especially after his statements on former Real Madrid star and football icon Cristiano Ronaldo. Guti, who made 542 appearances for Los Blancos, told El Chiringuito, "I don't know if this is the first time I've seen a guy with a cap backwards. I don't like that because he's with the Spanish national team! He added: "When he goes to Ibiza, or wherever he wants, he can do it. But not with the Spanish national team at a press conference. I don't like it." On Thursday, Yamal arrived at the press conference after Spain's victory over France in the semi-final of the tournament with his cap backwards. It marks the second time that the Barcelona youngster has been critiqued for his appearance after Rafael van der Vaart took aim at him for wearing his pants 'a little lower. read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean

Tuchel Explains Why Harry Kane May Not Play Until 40 Like Cristiano Ronaldo

Last Updated: The England captain continues to be in great form but coach Tuchel has doubts whether he can maintain his fitness standards like Cristiano Ronaldo. Head coach Thomas Tuchel sent a warning to Harry Kane after the England captain expressed his desire to prolong his playing career as long as possible. Kane, who will turn 32 in July, has his eyes set on the 2026 FIFA World Cup but is also looking to stretch his stint much beyond the quadrennial event. While the Bayern Munich striker is trying to follow in the footsteps of Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo, Tuchel reckons it would be difficult for him to keep his form and fitness at similar levels. Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, continues to maintain remarkable fitness standards. The 40-year-old is still bagging Golden Boots at the club level apart from major international honours. Ronaldo won the UEFA Nations League with the Portuguese side and is also planning an extension to his Saudi Pro League contract with Al-Nassr, for which he top-scored this season. 'I think it gets more and more difficult in today's game. Cristiano took a step into a league which is not as competitive as the Premier League or Spain, where he played before, as part of keeping his performance up. I think he is always the exception to the rule, we cannot go now from Cristiano Ronaldo and think everyone can play until 39 and 40 in today's game," Tuchel told reporters. 'It will be very demanding, professionalism is a given in today's game, otherwise you have no chance and Harry has this natural ability to score goals." Tuchel's remarks came even as Kane showed no signs of slowing down immediately. The English skipper scored the 450th goal of his professional career to help his team beat 173rd-ranked Andorra 1-0 in the 2027 World Cup qualifying game last Saturday, June 7. 'He scored his 450th goal in the Andorra match, it was a very decisive goal, a very important one and there are at the moment no signs he cannot do it at a high level. How long he can do it, I have not a crystal ball, let's see. He is in a club where they play dominant football, I think that can suit him," said Tuchel. 'Just the outlook until the World Cup, he knows that it is a crucial year for him, also in terms of fitness and being ready to compete in the World Cup in the heat, in the humidity." 'Deep Respect': Cristiano Ronaldo's Heartfelt Message For Lionel Messi

Last Updated: The Portuguese great expressed admiration for Argentina's finest ahead of the UEFA Nations League final clash against Spain. Portugal legend Cristiano Ronald paid 'deep respect" to his iconic Argentina rival Lionel Messi. Ronaldo expressed his admiration for Messi ahead of the UEFA Nations League final against Spain. Portugal won the summit clash 5-3 on penalties on Sunday, June 8. Hours before the five-time Ballon d'Or winner helped Portugal win their third international title, he delivered a message for the Argentina great that touched the hearts of football fans all over the globe. Offering a glimpse into the camaraderie that exists between the two biggest names in football history, Ronaldo shifted the spotlight from himself during a press conference held following an emotional final victory for Portugal and addressed Messi. The 40-year-old said his regard for Argentina's finest goes beyond the field. 'I've always respected Messi, not just as a rival but as a person. He's done incredible things for football," Ronaldo said, before taking a humorous turn in his tribute by jovially trying his hand at an Argentine accent to further speak on Messi. The attempt drew a laugh from the reporters and fans. 'I'd love to visit Argentina one day. Not just because Georgina [Rodríguez] is from there, but because I have deep respect for Messi and his country." Speculations have been rife over Ronaldo's playing future. In the twilight of his illustrious career, the legendary Portuguese striker will continue to play in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr, according to Fabrizio Romano. Ronaldo was left overwhelmed and shed tears after Portugal lifted the UEFA Nations League title. The ace forward struck the equalizer for his side, taking the game into extra time and then the penalties. In a grounded perspective, Ronaldo said, 'Don't put too much pressure on these young talents. Let them develop their skills naturally." First Published:
