TERRIFYING ORDEAL Vigilante brothers abducted boys, 11 and 12, to 'give them a fright' after parents' home vandalised
A PAIR of vigilante brothers abducted two schoolboys in retribution for their parents' livingroom window being smashed by vandals.

Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court heard the Saunders brothers took the two boys' mobile phones off them to prevent them from calling for help whilst detaining them inside their car.
After being bundled into the back of the vehicle and driven off the Saunders brothers told the "terrified" youngsters they were 'going to batter them'.
The court was told the pair had reacted after weeks of young people "causing havoc" in the area where their parents lived.
John, of Kenilworth Terrace and Richard, of Melrose Gardens, both Lochore, admitted abducting and assaulting the two boys on September 30.

They seized and pulled them by the body, removed them from a shop, struck one of them on the head and abducted both of them by forcing them into a vehicle and driving them away.
The brothers drove around during the frightening ordeal, telling the children they were "giving them a fright", before dropping them off.
At 9.45pm the mum of one of the boys heard a car pull up outside.
The court heard John Saunders was pulling her boy by the jumper and told the mum what had happened.

The prosecutor told the court Saunders said that his mum's window had been smashed and that it had "been going on for months".
Asked if he had anything to say to the court, John Saunders, who was representing himself, said, 'The window wasn't cracked, it was shattered and smashed.

'I got a call from my parents to say their window had been smashed and as I drove to their house, I saw them (the boys) walking from there towards the Co-op.
'When I went into the house my mum was so upset and I didn't know what to do.

'I went to look for them and they were in the shop like nothing had happened.'
Saunders said the boys had told them that someone from Cardenden had also been there at the time and so they had gone looking for him at bus stops.
Saunders told the court, 'I realised what I was doing was wrong' and he then took the boys home.
Solicitor David McLaughlin, representing Richard Saunders, said his client was a hard-working family man with two grown-up children and had never been involved in a court case before.

He went on, 'The background is that youngsters within the area were effectively causing havoc and had been picking on the brothers' mother and father for a number of weeks.
'On this occasion the window was shattered and it was the straw that broke the camel's back.
'He lost his temper and it was a spur of the moment thing. He and his brother made poor decisions.
'He acknowledges he stepped out of line and appears to show genuine remorse. As he put it, 'two wrongs don't make a right'.'

Sheriff Steven Borthwick said he acknowledged that the brothers' actions were out of character.
He told them, 'Both of you were very concerned for the well-being of your parents, were angry and wanted to do something about it.
'However, it is completely unacceptable to do what you did. That's the sort of offence that leads to the serious consideration of the imposition of a custodial sentence.
'It's simply not acceptable for civilians to take the law into their hands, especially when children are involved.'

He sentenced both brothers to a community payback order with 150 hours of unpaid work.

Emmerdale cruel John Sugden twist 'foreshadows' final showdown with Robert
Emmerdale's latest episode saw John Sugden's cruel plan to keep Robert Sugden on side revealed to viewers, and with that it may have teased a final showdown for the brothers There was a worrying scene on Emmerdale on Friday night that saw John Sugden seemingly plot revenge on his brother Robert Sugden. Despite them appearing to clear the air, or at least come to an agreement, John's true agenda was revealed to fans. This week John was left in hospital after Robert attacked him during a tense showdown. Robert had no idea though that John was recording the moment he struck him at the back of the head with a spanner. Viewers learned this on Friday, when the end of the episode showed John watching it back on his laptop. It comes amid fans believing Robert's own real plan was given away in the episode, and he might not be playing nicely has he's claimed. We'd already seen John feign fear over Robert visiting him, before Robert practically begged his villainous brother for forgiveness. John threatened him, telling him that if he went back on his word in regards to dropping his vendetta as well as leaving Aaron Dingle alone, he "knew" what he would do. Robert obviously didn't know that John had set up the attack after goading him, leading him to his camper van where a camera was recording. In the footage we only see the moment John walks towards home and is struck by Robert with the tool. John falls to the ground as Robert watches on. It likely also caught the moment Robert wiped the tool and hid it, but even the attack alone is enough for John to get Robert locked up given the crime he spent six years in prison for. Fans had actually noticed the mirroring of events, as in 2019 Robert attacked Lee Posner in similar circumstances. Robert had confronted Lee after he raped his sister Victoria Sugden, and Lee goaded him until Robert snapped. John orchestrated Robert's latest crime, and now he has him exactly where he needs him. But John is ready and waiting for his brother to turn on him again, keeping hold of the video evidence to use if necessary to get rid of Robert. But could it all be foreshadowing a major showdown? Maybe the current battle between the brothers is just the beginning and a taster of John's comeuppance at the hands of Robert. Robert more than any other characters is well and truly onto John and his dark crimes. If he manages to find the proof and expose him, John will hopefully face his downfall and be punished for his actions, including the murder of Nate Robinson. So will it come down to another John vs Robert battle at the end, and was the attack and John's actions, with John threatening revenge if Robert goes against him, all a massive hint of what's ahead? If so, it could be a major tease that the storyline will conclude with Robert taking John down as fans are hoping for, and John's final attempts to come out on top. Gary Busey, 81, pleads guilty to groping woman at New Jersey horror movie convention
He now faces between one and five years of probation and fines STAR IN DOCK Gary Busey, 81, pleads guilty to groping woman at New Jersey horror movie convention OSCAR-nominated actor Gary Busey has pleaded guilty to a sex crime after allegedly groping a woman at a horror movie convention in New Jersey. The Lethal Weapon star, 81, admitted during a Zoom court hearing on Thursday that the incident was 'not an accidental touching'. One victim claimed Busey placed his face near her chest and allegedly asked 'where she got them' before reaching for her bra strap. Busey initially denying any wrongdoing — even telling paparazzi in Malibu that 'none of that happened' and the women 'made up a story'. But the actor has now pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact. Advertisement Under a plea deal, three other counts of criminal sexual contact and one count of attempted criminal sexual contact were dropped. The actor now faces between one and five years of probation and fines. He will also have a criminal record and must submit a DNA sample. His sentencing is scheduled for September 18 via Zoom. Advertisement Judge Gwendolyn Blue denied a motion from Busey's defense attorney, Blair Zwillman, who argued the case should be dismissed due to what he called a 'faulty investigation' and alleged failures by police to question certain witnesses. A police affidavit from 2022 claims that after detectives contacted Busey, he told them 'sometimes it is possible to accidentally touch someone in a specific body part'. Sex fiend who targeted boy, 8, in tent at Scots beauty spot was spotted fleeing scene by victim's horrified dad He also allegedly even asked authorities to apologise to two victims and persuade them not to press charges. In a statement at the time, Monster-Mania Convention said Busey was 'removed from the convention and instructed not to return' immediately after complaints were received. Advertisement 'The safety and well-being of all our attendees is of the utmost importance,' attorney Nikitas Moustakas said, adding that attendees were encouraged to file police reports. The guilty plea marks the latest controversy for the veteran actor. Just days after being charged in 2022, Busey was photographed in Malibu with his pants down on a public bench, his hand buried in his crotch. His spokesperson later claimed he may have needed to relieve himself, saying, 'Perhaps at his age, he realised he couldn't get to the bathroom in time.' Advertisement Busey, who rose to fame with his Oscar-nominated role in The Buddy Holly Story, has a history of troubling incidents. In 2011, a former Celebrity Apprentice employee accused him of sexual assault, telling the Daily Beast that he groped her and forced her hand onto his genitals. He also faced drug charges in 1995 after police reportedly found cocaine and marijuana at his Malibu home, and has been arrested in the past on suspicion of spousal abuse. The actor's son, Jake Busey, has previously said his father was never the same after a 1988 motorcycle crash that caused severe brain damage, claiming the injury left him 'more impulsive and prone to anger and delusions of grandeur.'
