Demon Slayer:
Kimetsu no Yaiba
is a Japanese anime and manga about a boy named Tanjiro Kamado, who becomes a demon hunter after his family is killed. His sister, Nezuko, turns into a demon, but Tanjiro believes she can be saved. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps, a group of elite warriors who fight demons to protect humans. The strongest fighters in this group are called the Hashira.

Kyojuro Rengoku was strong, kind, and always smiling. He became the first Hashira to die in the series during the Mugen Train Arc. Rengoku fought bravely to protect passengers from demon attacks. Shinobu's sacrifice was smart and emotional. She died with a smile, knowing her plan worked.
Mist Hashira Muichiro falls to kokushibo

Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, was calm and extremely powerful. He fought Kokushibo, the strongest demon under the main villain Muzan. Muichiro lost an arm and took serious damage. But he never gave up. He stabbed Kokushibo with a special red sword, helping others like Genya and Sanemi defeat the demon.
Muichiro was only 14 years old but showed true bravery before his death.
Stone Hashira Gyomei dies after final battle

Gyomei Himejima was the strongest Hashira physically. He was calm, blind, and extremely skilled. During the final battle against Muzan, the main demon, Gyomei led the charge. He worked with the other Hashira to keep Muzan pinned until sunrise. After the fight, his injuries were too serious, and he passed away peacefully.
Gyomei's leadership helped the demon slayers finally win the war.
Obanai & Mitsuri Death – Snake and Love Hashira die together

Obanai Iguro and Mitsuri Kanroji fought side by side in the last battle. Even though they were badly hurt, they kept fighting until Muzan was finally defeated. They shared deep feelings for each other, which they revealed only before dying.
Their touching final moments holding hands and dreaming of being together in the next life made this one of the most emotional scenes in the series.
Which Hashira survives Demon Slayer?
While many Hashira died in the fight, some survived:
Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, and Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, both survive the final fight, carrying on the memory of their fallen comrades. Tanjiro also survives, and after the war, the Demon Slayer Corps disbands because demons are gone for good.
