The Truth About Prince William, Kate Middleton's Secret Yacht Vacation in Greece

Cosmopolitan6 days ago
Wondering how Prince William and Kate Middleton have been spending the summer—aside from showing up to the occasional event and looking posh? Apparently, they took a secret vacation on board a £40 million superyacht off the coast of Greece. And it's been kept almost entirely under-the-radar until now (honestly, even the reporting that does exist is a little murky).
According to the Daily Mail, stories began popping up in Greek media around July 19 that the Prince and Princess of Wales were "enjoying the largesse of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a prominent member of the UAE royal family."
The outlet also notes that the story of Will and Kate's trip was "ignored by the British media" but picked up around the world, with locals and eyewitnesses claiming they were seen.
So...what's the truth? Per the Daily Mail, the Prince and Princess were were actually on the Almax, "one of the world's first fuel-cell superyachts which is estimated to be worth £40 million" and is described as a "huge milestone in the future of sustainable boating."
Prince William and his daughter Princess Charlotte left the trip to watch the Lionesses in the Euros final (which took place in Switzerland), and apparently the entire family is now back in England. So...that's that on that!

Pamela Anderson Reacts To Meghan Markle Copying Rumors

Pamela Anderson isn't feeding into the foolish idea that there's something amiss between her and Meghan Markle. If you cast your mind back to earlier this year, you might recall that some definitely-legit sources were claiming that Meghan's show With Love, Meghan was a copy of Pamela's Cooking with Love. The co-creator of Pamela's show even told the Daily Mail, "We take pride in planting the first seeds – creating original, distinctive programming that audiences love – and it's a compliment to see our work with Ms Anderson resonate so strongly." However, the timelines don't actually make sense for any influence to have taken place, as Meghan's show wrapped filming before a trailer for Pam's series had even come out (and, besides, rich ladies have been making aesthetic shows that feature food for decades). But still, slop is grist for the mill. In the "Plead the Fifth" segment on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Pamela was asked, "On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show, Pamela's Cooking With Love? There were articles saying that these two shows were very similar." "One. I didn't," Pamela replied. When pressed on whether she saw any "similarities," she replied, "No, I didn't really look. I mean, I didn't invent cooking shows. She's just doing her thing." Good thing no tabloids are writing about this as if it were a negative exchange!

'We'll keep it to a minimum for now.' 'You think?' Ramsey quipped. 'Yeah, we'll get there one day,' Holland replied. 'Seriously, can you imagine what's going to happen to your life if you do?' Ramsay asked. 'You'd love the opportunity, right?' 'I mean, every young British actor, it's the pinnacle of working in our industry,' Holland responded. 'I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive, you know? I could never have dreamed to have the career that I've had.' Holland's name is one of many that's been thrown around since Daniel Craig stepped back from the spy role after 2021's No Time To Die. There has been buzz that Amazon MGM Studios, which nows helms the Bond franchise, wants to cast a younger actor this time around. Variety reported that the studio and the producers are interested in casting a British actor under the age of 30, with Holland, Jacob Elordi, and Harris Dickinson at the top of the list. Dune filmmaker Denis Villeneuve will direct the next 007 movie while Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight will pen the screenplay. Holland has two upcoming films already scheduled. He's currently shooting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which hits theaters May 1, 2026, and will appear in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, out on July 17, 2026.
