For decades, celebrities have been secretive about their cosmetic procedures — even when many people were speculating.
But by 2025, conversations around plastic surgery have become much more open, and a growing number of female celebs have chosen to speak candidly on their experiences. Here are some celebrities who have spoken about the cosmetic work they've done, and their personal reasons behind it.
Over the years, Chrissy Teigen has been candid about the cosmetic surgeries she's had. In a 2017 interview with Allure, she revealed how she underwent an armpit fat removal procedure.
"Maybe nine years ago," (I had) "my armpit sucked out which was one of the best things I've done. It's a big secret, but I don't care. And it added two inches to my arms. It made me feel better in strapless dresses, and I felt more confident."
Kylie Jenner recently opened up about her breast augmentation. In May 2025, she shared her exact implant size and the doctor she chose.

In a 2015 interview with Seventeen, Iggy Azalea shared her experience getting a nose job, bluntly stating that "denying it is lame."

Dolly Parton has never been one to stray from the truth — especially when it comes to plastic surgery. In 2023, the country legend discussed getting Botox, fillers, and more.
'If something is bagging, sagging, or dragging, I'll tuck it, suck it, or pluck it...I try to do just little bits at a time — I don't do like really big stuff. Only when I have to do something a little more, and even then, I try to be careful.'
Victoria Beckham addressed rumours in a 2024 interview with Hello! Magazine. She revealed she hadn't touched her nose — but did acknowledge having breast implants in the past. She later had them removed in 2014.

"I got some more butt injections removed (in January) because you know it takes rounds to get your butt injections removed, and I also went to fix certain things with my fibrosis...All I'm going to say is that if you're young, if you're 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you're too skinny, and you be like 'OMG I don't have enough fat to put in my ass,' so you result to ass shots, bitch don't fu**ing do it!"
Ariana Madix rose in popularity as the host on Love Island USA. In 2024, Ariana cleared the air herself, responding directly to a social media post and openly listing her cosmetic work.
"Tox in 11's, outer brow, and my neck. Ellevate for my neck in 2019 by @theneckdoctor. Minimal lip filler bc my face is too small to handle very much, and filler in my chin. Absolutely no filler anywhere else and def no bleph yet. Hope this helps! I'll keep y'all posted if I do anything else.'
After years of dominating the modeling world and reality TV with America's Next Top Model, Tyra Banks decided to discuss the cosmetic work she'd gotten done. In her 2018 book Perfect is Boring, she candidly spoke about her nose job.
"I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching...I could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery. I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth."
Speaking of models, supermodel Cindy Crawford has also been refreshingly honest about her cosmetic surgeries. In a 2024 interview with Hello! Magazine, she shared that while she's had Botox done in the past, she relies on a healthy lifestyle to help maintain her glow.
"I'll do those kinds of things, but in the end I truly haven't seen anything that's made such a huge difference that I like on anyone."
In 2022, Amy Schumer opened up on Instagram about her shifted views on cosmetic surgery. She shared how she never thought she'd go under the knife — but after undergoing surgery to remove her uterus and appendix to fix her endometriosis, her perspective changed.
"I feel good. Finally. It's been a journey, thanks for helping me get my strength back @seckinmd (endo) @jordanternermd (lipo). Never thought I would do anything, but talk to me after your uterus doesn't contract for 2.5 years and you turn 40."
For someone who's been in the spotlight for almost six decades, Cher has been super open about her cosmetic procedures — especially her facelift. In 1984, she told British broadcaster Terry Wogan about her mother's decision to get a facelift. Fast-forward to 2018, she was just as unapologetic when telling the Daily Mail about her own experience.
"Yes, I've had a facelift, but who hasn't?"
Megan Fox clarified longstanding rumours in a 2024 interview on Call Her Daddy. She confirmed she had a breast augmentation and a nose job, and took the opportunity to shut down a few more surgery rumours.
"I had my boobs done when I was 21 or 22 and I had them redone after I was finished breastfeeding my kids...I've literally been accused of having six, seven, eight rhinoplasty surgeries, I haven't had a rhinoplasty since, I'm going to say 23. It's been well over a decade. I've not touched my nose since then."
Ariana Grande has faced speculation about plastic surgery for many years. But in a Vanity Fair lie detector interview with Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo, she addressed the rumours head-on, discussing her past experiences with filler and Botox.
'I've had fillers in various places, and Botox...But I stopped like four years ago. And that is the extent. Whatever makes women, men, non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed."
