Three Men Arrested For Stealing Electricity For Bitcoin Mining
JOHOR BAHRU, April 24 (Bernama) -- Three men, 40 to 48, have been arrested for stealing electricity for bitcoin mining activities, causing losses of up to RM1.28 million.
Johor police chief Datuk M Kumar said the three, who were part of a syndicate, were arrested in an operation conducted with the cooperation of the Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) on April 22 and 23.
The team also seized 87 Bitcoin mining rigs worth RM217,500 in nine raids on premises around Johor Bahru, Seri Alam, Kulai, Segamat and Tangkak

AGC rejects Najib's representation in RM27 million SRC case

The matter was informed by deputy public prosecutor Mohd Ashrof Adrin Kamarul when the case came up for mention before High Court Judge Advertisement 'My Lord, I'm here to to inform the court that the representation has been rejected and the prosecution is going to proceed with the trial. My instructions are to inform the court of the matter and to seek trial dates,' he said. Its Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said that among the suggestions received was a proposal for university students to travel during the day, instead of at night, to enhance safety. "Some have suggested that university students and undergraduates should travel during the day rather than at night, to enhance safety,' he told the media after the 'Luncheon Talk with Editors' session, in conjunction with the Asean-Malaysia Chairmanship 2025, at his ministry, here, on Tuesday. Zambry also said that he had been informed of a separate accident involving an express bus, early this morning, which reportedly had students from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) among its passengers. "I only received information about the accident this morning. Fortunately, there were no injuries,' he said.
