New Beverley race seen as a good fit for Al Qareem
'I think he will run and I see a couple of them in the race have been declared elsewhere and I think it is a very winnable option for him,' said Nick Bradley.
'It's a new race with £28,000 to the winner, it's a Listed race and even with a penalty he's clear of everything else in the race. Beverley is a front-runner's track and will suit him so I don't see too much wrong with the race.'
Al Qareem has been in top form this season, winning at Nottingham in the Further Flight Stakes in April before finishing an honourable second to Aidan O'Brien's Gold Cup runner-up Illinois at Chester.
He followed that up with a destructive display at York when handing Willie Mullins' Absurde a four-and-a-half length beating in the Listed Grand Cup, and a return to the Knavesmire for the John Smith's Silver Cup is available as an option if connections make a late defection from Beverley.
'The alternative is York the following race and he'll run in one of the two, but I think I'm favouring Beverley.' continued Bradley.
'He did well last time and Clifford (Lee, jockey) gave him a brilliant ride that day, he got the second horse (Absurde) keen and we got lucky that a few behind didn't really show up.
'I thought it was a career best but I'm not sure the horse is particularly getting really better, we're just managing him better and placing him better. We know him more now.'

White Sox promote SS Colson Montgomery to make MLB debut
July 4 - The Chicago White Sox promoted prized shortstop prospect Colson Montgomery from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday to start against the Colorado Rockies. Montgomery will be making his major league debut. He will bat seventh and play shortstop against the Rockies. The 23-year-old received the news of his promotion from Charlotte manager Sergio Santos on Thursday night. Santos was giving details about a trip that included an overnight bus ride to Jacksonville for a game on Friday. Then he dropped the surprise on Montgomery. "Unfortunately, you won't be playing shortstop for us tomorrow," said Santos, with a well-timed pause during a video. "You'll be playing shortstop for the Chicago White Sox." Montgomery was then overwhelmed with emotions. Montgomery was a first-round pick of the White Sox in 2021 (22nd overall). He is rated the White Sox's No. 5 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline. He has 11 homers and 30 RBIs in 55 games for Charlotte this season but batted just .218 and struck out 82 times. Chicago designated third baseman Vinny Capra for assignment to open up a 40-man roster spot for Montgomery. Capra, 28, hit .190 with two RBIs in 23 games with the White Sox after being claimed off waivers on May 15. He was with Milwaukee earlier this season and batted .074 with one homer and four RBIs in 24 games with the Brewers. The White Sox also activated left-hander Fraser Ellard (lat) from the 60-day injured list and optioned him to Charlotte. Cubs club franchise-record 8 HRs in rout of Cardinals
July 4 - The Chicago Cubs set a franchise record by bashing eight home runs in a single game on their way to an Independence Day annihilation of the visiting St. Louis Cardinals, winning 11-3 on Friday. Michael Busch enjoyed his first career three-homer game, and Pete Crow-Armstrong provided his 22nd and 23rd dingers of the season. Dansby Swanson and Busch went back-to-back off reliever John King in the seventh inning to break the team record. The Cubs raced out to a 7-0 lead with six home runs in the first three innings. Seiya Suzuki and Crow-Armstrong both went yard in the first inning, Busch and Carson Kelly took a turn in the second for a 4-0 advantage, and Crow-Armstrong and Busch pummeled pitches 414 and 428 feet, respectively, in the third. Miles Mikolas (4-6) served up those six home runs on his way to a forgettable Fourth of July. He stayed in for six innings, yielding eight runs on 10 hits without a walk. The veteran right-hander had never given up more than four homers in a game. The run support was a welcome sight for Colin Rea (6-3), the Cubs starter whose only hit allowed over 6 2/3 innings was a fourth-inning solo shot by Brendan Donovan. Rea struck out four and walked two. Busch singled to center in the fifth inning to bring home Crow-Armstrong and give Chicago an 8-1 lead. Busch finished 4-for-4 with five RBIs. With two outs and one on in the seventh, Swanson clocked a 1-0 sinker from King 423 feet to center for the Cubs' seventh home run of the day. It was Swanson's first home run since June 19. Windlord edges Gala glory in tight Sandown finish
A close second in the Sandown Classic Trial in the spring, the Dubawi colt subsequently gave his fellow Juddmonte-owned colt something to aim at in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, ultimately finishing well beaten on both occasions. Andrew Balding's charge was a 6-4 favourite dropping down to Listed class and while the front-running Caviar Heights proved a tough nut to crack on his first start since joining William Haggas, Windlord got the better of a final furlong tussle by a nose in the hands of Colin Keane. The eight-year-old won the Listed contest back in 2022 and had to dig deep for a repeat, fending off the late challenge of Al Nayyir by a short head, with just half a length back to Real Dream in third. Balding said: 'That was thoroughly well deserved. He's been a bit of a star and that has taken his earnings over £1 million. 'He has been the horse of a lifetime really. He loves it here and has loved his racing this year. He was a little but inconsistent last season but has been in great form this year. 'He's not in at Goodwood and I think we will probably wait and look at Doncaster with him now and then his swansong will either be at Ascot or in the Cadran.'
