SunSport's Will Pugh was joined by football broadcaster Kweku Afari and Betfair expert Sam Rosbottom to give their verdict on this weekend's most enticing selections.
Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa, FA Cup, Saturday 5.15pm
Kweku: Rashford three or more shots 7/5
"It's hard to gauge Villa because that was a really good win against Newcastle but against Man City they failed to really capitalise.
"If you look at Marcus Rashford, a player rejuvenated at Villa and Unai Emery seems to be getting the best out of him, and the stats back that up as well.

"Rashford has had at least three shots on target in both of his FA Cup starts for Villa this season which suggests he's going to be heavily involved if he does start.
"I expect Villa to win and Rashford to have a very very good game."

Villa might reckon the omens are good
Will: Game to be decided via a penalty shootout 9/2
"Villa are having a brilliant season and this presents that opportunity to go that one step further and lift the cup that their fans are longing for.
"Villa have won none of their last four matches against Aston Villa in all competitions, drawn one and lost three, conceded 13 goals and Palace knocked them out of the League Cup.
"Everyone's going for a Palace win but I just can't see it.
"I think Palace are a bit more switched on than people give them credit for.
"A bit of a sluggish start to the season but coming into their own - a great performance, very much deserved that point, at Arsenal. And I just think it will be a cagey one that goes to pens."
Sam: Konsa to have one or more shots at 5/4
"Villa have got an unbelievable squad - one of the best in the Premier League. On Tuesday night they brought on Ollie Watkins and Marco Asensio!
"It's a semi-final at Wembley. These games are always cagey and tight. But I do think Villa will have just enough to get over the line with that squad depth.
"With it being cagey and tight I can see set-pieces being absolutely crucial in this one and Villa have a good couple of threats in their team.
"Looking at the centre-halfs, Tyrone Mings and Ezri Konsa - I am going to side with Konsa to have a shot at 5/4.
11
Villa defender Ezri Konsa could be a big menace from set-pieces

"I think that's a really nice bit of value, especially when we're looking at corners. He's had four shots in his last four games, four shots on target in his last nine matches.
"It could be one of those (games) where a defender pops up and makes the difference."
Liverpool vs Tottenham, Prem 4.30pm Sunday
Kweku: Liverpool to score 3 or more goals 4/6
"For Spurs forget about progressing or getting decent results in the league - it's all about the Europa league, so I'm very much backing Liverpool in this one.
11
The goal stats this season could be ominous for Spurs
"Liverpool have been by far the best team in the Premier League this season. Arne Slot has done a fantastic job since coming in.
"Liverpool have scored at least one goal in each of their last 29 Premier League games - stretching back to September, when they lost 1-0 against Nottingham Forest, their only home defeat this season.
"Spurs have conceded 10 goals against Liverpool this season, losing 6-3 in the league and 4-0 in the League Cup semi-final second leg.
"We expect Liverpool to be in celebratory mood and I expect them to score a few goals as well."
Sam: Salah, three or more shots on target 2/1
"My bet's not much braver, to be fair!
"Mo Salah's had seven shots in his last Premier League game, that 1-0 win over Leicester.
"And he had four shots on target the last time Liverpool played Spurs, that 4-0 victory in the League Cup. I really fancy this bet."
11

Liverpool hitman Salah has been peppering in goal attempts
Sam: Maddison to commit two or more fouls at 6/4
"Anfield is going to be in jovial, celebratory mood.
"Spurs, while their eggs are very much in the Europa League basket, are going to want to spoil a little bit of the party, so they might want to stink the place out a little.
"I'm thinking fouls here and there, and if there's a player who absolutely loves a little niggly foul it is James Maddison!
"And for him to commit two or more fouls at 6/4 is something that I really like.
"Maddison has committed seven fouls in his last three Premier League appearances, so again he could be the one for the fouls."
Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn, middleweight boxing, Saturday. from 10pm
Sam: Eubank Jr to win by a ninth-round stoppage 13/1
"There's a hydration clause. This is something that's a little bit new for him (Eubank Jr.
11
"We have odds boosted of him to win by TKO or KO at 23/10.
"When you look at the records, these guys do love knockouts.
"Conor Benn has got a record of 23 wins, 14 knockouts, no losses, so he's in good form.
"Looking at that family history, Eubank Jr to win by a ninth-round stoppage 13/1, which would replicate Eubank Senior (against Nigel Benn) in 1990."
11
Here are some of the big-fight flutters that could be tempting
Kweku fight verdict:
"If Conor Benn gets it done, he gets it done early... but I think Eubank has got too much experience, and it's been at a higher level than Benn.
"And we don't know what Conor Benn would look like if he's dragged into deep waters with Eubank, so I've got Eubank to win on points."

Aspinall's Littler claim speaks volumes despite Premier League Darts final loss

Luke Littler suffered defeat in the Premier League Darts finale this week after he was beaten 11-8 by Luke Humphries, but that hasn't stopped rival Nathan Aspinall hailing the impact he has had on the sport Nathan Aspinall believes Luke Littler 's impact has catapulted darts into a golden era where players will enjoy the celebrity of film stars and top footballers. Although Luke the Nuke was beaten by Luke Humphries in the Premier League play-offs final at the O2 on Thursday night, he is still on course to scoop £1 million in prize money alone during the first half of 2025. And Littler's success has been reflected in attention darts players are afforded away from the oche. World No.9 Aspinall, beaten in the Premier League semi-finals by eventual champion Humphries, said: "Everyone is obsessed with darts. During the week I was at (Tottenham midfielder) James Maddison 's golf day and everyone wanted to talk to me about darts. ‌ "I'm looking around, all these footballers and actors and stuff, and everyone was speaking to me because everyone loves darts. ‌ "Whether you are a celebrity, own a company, come from a council estate, whether you are a kid, male, female, everyone is obsessed with darts at the moment. "We all know we owe a lot of it to Luke, but also the rest of the guys that turn out week-in, week-out, not just in the Premier League but the European Tours." At 18, Littler has become the Tiger Woods of the oche, the pied piper who sells out big venues and draws sponsors to the sport like bees round a honey pot. ‌ But Aspinall insists it's not a one-man show, saying: 'Luke Littler doesn't win everything. There is Humphries, and other people are winning majors. "I don't think Littler is dominating like Michael van Gerwen did a few years ago - but he's only a year into his career. Let's where he's going to be 12 months, 18 months, two years from now. ‌ "And trust me, there are so many more Luke Littlers in the making at the moment. It's mental. I have seen so many of them at my academy. "We have had a massive pay increase this year and I cannot see it stopping. I might be only 33 but I am an old boy compared to what is coming through. "I do believe we are the last of a generation and that after us it is going to be all these kids coming through, who are fearless. "Then it will go from this pub game, which everyone still calls it, even though it is not. It grates on me. It will stop being called a pub game and it will finally be called a sport in five or 10 years."

Arsenal target Rodrygo sends transfer message but is met with brutal response

Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has been linked with Arsenal among other clubs this summer and the Brazil international has now told the club hierarchy where he sees his future Rodrygo has told Real Madrid he is determined to stay and fight for his place at the Bernabeu - but he will only be given the Club World Cup tournament to prove his worth to Xabi Alonso. The Brazil forward, 24, has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this summer amid speculation that the Spanish giants are keen to cash in. Arsenal are among those who could offer Rodrygo an escape route if Real do decide to move him on. ‌ However, the player himself has no interest in pursuing a move elsewhere - something he told the club himself when he was asked about his future by the club. ‌ Marca have the details and they say Rodrygo is 'determined' to continue playing for Real Madrid despite transfer speculation linking him with a move elsewhere. There is, however, a twist; Los Blancos are said to be 'worried' about a drop off in Rodrygo's performance levels since February and would like to see some evidence that the former Santos man can play an influential role under Alonso, the club's new head coach, sooner rather than later. That means the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States will be crucial for Rodrygo, who could yet be sold if he fails to 'convince' the powerbrokers at Real Madrid that he is back to his best. ‌ Despite links with a move elsewhere, it's said there have been offers for Rodrygo to date. Arsenal are known to be interested in the versatile forward as they seek more firepower for another assault on the Premier League title. As well as adding a top No.9 to Mikel Arteta 's squad, the Gunners want to sign a quality left-sided forward. ‌ Join the debate! Would Rodrygo be a good signing for Arsenal? Let us know here Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams is said to be their target but putting together a package for Rodrygo would likely be cheaper than prising the Euro 2024 winner away from Spain. When he was asked about interest in Rodrygo earlier this month, Arteta replied: 'If you want to win major trophies, you have to be the best in the market, no? The teams that win always have the best players. ‌ ‌'I wouldn't like to name a player, but there is pride because we have brought the club into a position that next season people are saying: 'You have to win a major trophy.' And that means that everybody believes, and that we are an elite team in this country and in Europe. The biggest statement is that Arsenal is there. 'What is clear with the amount of injuries that we had in the front line is that we need a goal threat and we need firepower. Understanding that the context can change tomorrow, we cannot rely just on the numbers that we had before. We have to add goals, creativity, and we have to add numbers, and that will be in different positions.'
