Saoirse Ronan shows off baby bump at Louis Vuitton Women's Cruise Show 2026
Saoirse Ronan appears to confirm she is expecting her first child.
The Outrun actress, who married actor Jack Lowden last year, confirmed her baby news on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival, where she showed off her blossoming baby bump in a sheer black gown.
Saoirse wore a strappy black silk dress, which featured sophisticated lace detailing across the chest, at the Louis Vuitton Women's Cruise 2026 show.
In October last year, the Brooklyn star admitted that she does want to have children at some point.
"I became successful when I was quite young. So it meant that, actually, by the time I found my partner, I'm now at the stage where if it happened, I would like to have a kid," she explained.
"I feel fortunate enough that if I step out of this for a minute, I'm hopefully not giving it up forever. But, yeah, I've always wanted that."
Saoirse and Jack married in a private ceremony in Edinburgh last summer, with just a handful of close friends present. Neither of them ever confirmed their marriage but wear their wedding rings.
Speaking about her relationship with Jack, she enthused about how supportive they are to one another.
He has previously described working with Ronan as "remarkable".
"The woman is a force of nature, on- and off-screen, and utterly fearless and a brilliant leader as well," he said.
