After months of silence and speculation following the India's Got Latent controversy, Ashish has finally broken cover to announce his next creative venture: a horror-comedy web series titled Ekaki.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, Ashish dropped a series of character posters from the series and revealed that this would mark his debut as a writer-director, under his own banner, ACV Studios. The show will feature many familiar faces from the 'Ashish Chanchlani universe,' including Akash Dodeja, Harshh Rane, Sidhant Sarfare, Rohit Sadhwani, Shashank Shekhar, and Grishim Nawanii. With Ekaki, Ashish blends his trademark comedy with horror. It is said as an attempt that could redefine his post-controversy phase.
Notably, this is his first project announcement since becoming embroiled in the India's Got Latent row. In February, the comedian was summoned by Assam Police for questioning, and in March, he appeared before the National Commission for Women alongside fellow creators Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and Apoorva Mukhija. All of them were questioned about their roles in the controversial video clip that sparked a nationwide conversation.
Amid the backlash, Ashish posted a heartfelt video message, requesting his fans to stand by him. 'Please keep me and my family in your prayers,' he had said. Now, with Ekaki, he seems ready to turn the page. While the details of the plot remain under wraps, fans in the comments section are already brimming with excitement and anticipation.
The series is set to release on ACV Studios' official YouTube channel later this year.

Train Your Core Like Malaika Arora: Quick Lower Abs Workout Explained
Last Updated: Malaika Arora stays dedicated to fitness and recently shared a lower abs workout, encouraging fans to train their core with leg lifts. Malaika Arora stands out as a celebrity who truly practices what she preaches—maintaining a consistent fitness routine without fail. She frequently offers her followers a peek into her workout sessions, motivating them to prioritise their health and embrace an active lifestyle. Whether it's an early morning workout or an intense gym day, Malaika remains dedicated and never misses a session. Recently, Malaika shared an Instagram post featuring a workout specifically designed to sculpt the lower abs quickly. She captioned it, 'Your core is your power center—train it like it matters," and recommended performing two sets of thirty leg lifts each. Place your palms facing down, tucking your hands just beneath your glutes to create a small support or 'shelf" that eases the leg raise. Press your lower back firmly into the floor or mat throughout the exercise to avoid injury. Arching your back can cause strain. Keep your chin slightly tucked and lower your legs slowly toward the floor, ideally stopping a few inches above it. You may keep your neck neutral (looking up) if more comfortable, but tucking your chin helps maintain spinal alignment. Lower your legs only as far as you can without letting your lower back lift off the floor. If you can't raise your legs back up after lowering them, lift them less next time. Engage your core as you lift your legs back up to the starting position. Breathe naturally—inhale while lowering, exhale while lifting—or find a rhythm that suits you, but avoid holding your breath. Benefits of Leg Raises Helps reduce fat around the lower abdomen and legs Strengthens and tones muscles in the abdomen and legs Targets and sculpts the lower abdominal muscles effectively Engages hamstrings, calf muscles and glutes for overall leg strength Can be performed comfortably even while lying down in bed Enhances focus and mental concentration Malaika's workout is a simple yet powerful move that anyone can incorporate into their fitness routine to build a strong core and toned lower body.
