The Crusaders won the Bergen County championship and the Big North United crown last week.
The Knights won the Bergen County championship last week, their fifth county title in six years.
The Ghosts went 4-0 last week, including a win over 15-win Paterson Charter. They moved up six spots to No. 14 in the latest North Jersey Top 25 rankings.
The Blue Eagles beat DePaul last week to take hold of first place in the Big North United division. They've now won eight of their last nine games.
The Braves became the first public-school team to win two relays at the Bergen County Meet of Champions.
The Bulldogs won their third straight Passaic County championship with a 3-2 win over Wayne in last week's county title game.
The Scarlets went 3-0 last week and have now won their last six games. They are 11-4 on the season.
The Green Knights went 3-0 last week, including a win over then-No. 2 Don Bosco to clinch a Bergen Jamboree bid. St. Joseph moved up to No. 2 in the latest North Jersey Top 25 rankings

The Indians won their first Passaic County team championship since 2012 over the weekend. Noah Zindaki (138 pounds) and Adam Suzay (150) won individual titles.

The wide receiver and punt returner spent last weekend in Kansas City, one of 60 rookie tryouts - yes, you read that correctly - fighting for reps and a chance to impress Andy Reid and Chiefs' brass. Advertisement Despite a good showing, the quest for a contract was an empty one. That sets the stage for another audition plenty closer to home. From a walk-on at Rutgers from Don Bosco to a shot at the NFL, Dremel hopes to make the most of his tryout at the New York Giants' rookie camp this weekend. "I guess I'm not supposed to be here, but I feel like I've been through this my whole career," Dremel said. "This is obviously a dream come true just to have this opportunity, to have this chance and compete to be on one of the 32 teams in the NFL. Had a chance to put on a Chiefs helmet and run around and play football last week, and now I'm excited to try and make the Giants. Something I've learned, when you're fighting for everything, you've got to take it one day at a time by focusing on one thing at a time. Every play, every day, adapt to that mindset." The 5-foot-9, 180-pounder had a strong performance at the team's local pro day as a punt returner and Big Blue did not draft a wide receiver, so for depth purposes, general manager Joe Schoen may be open to bringing in receivers to challenge the back end of the position. Advertisement Two seasons ago, Dremel took a significant step forward in production at Rutgers, as he started all 12 games and finished as the team's leading receiver with 34 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns. He had just one catch during the 2022 season before his breakout. Then, after deciding to return to Rutgers for one final year, Dremel ended up spending much of the season doing whatever he could to maximize his opportunities. Don Bosco football will open the 2025 season in Texas
New Jersey vs. Texas high school football is finally happening. Don Bosco announced Thursday night at its team banquet that the Ironmen will open up the 2025 season against Melissa High School at Kenny Deel Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 29 in Melissa, Texas. 'It's Texas football,' Ironmen coach Dan Sabella said Friday morning. 'Texas is one of the hotbeds for high school football in the nation. I don't really have to say more than that.' The game is part of the 2025 Wipe Out Kid's Cancer Football Classic in Texas, with all proceeds going to pediatric cancer survivors and their families. The Cardinals finished 6-4 last season, but were 10-2 in 2023 before losing in the Area Round of the 5A Division II playoffs. Don Bosco finished 8-4 in 2024, losing to Bergen Catholic in the Non-Public A state final to rival Bergen Catholic, 25-7. Kenny Deel Stadium cost $35 million to build. It seats 10,000 fans and has a large scoreboard and luxury boxes. The school has just over 1,300 students. It will be the first time the Ironmen have ever played a game in Texas.
