Lad shares £10 DIY makeover using tester paints to recreate posh wallpaper – but his ‘wonky' bricks are bothering people
A DIY fan has shown off a super simple hack that gave his living room a mega makeover.
So if your home could do with some TLC but you haven't got much cash to splash, then you'll need to listen up.

Rather than breaking the bank on posh brick-effect wallpaper, Trebor Newo was able to recreate the iconic look by using tester paint samples, for just a fraction of the price.
But while we think Trebor's DIY transformation is pretty impressive considering it was done on a budget, the savvy man has left many people bothered by his "wonky" bricks.
It all came after Trebor took to social media to show off his DIY overhaul, which cost him less than £10.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with 2.6 million members, Trebor uploaded snaps of his orange and white tester paints, as well as images of his jaw-dropping wall mural.
The DIY enthusiast revealed that thanks to his bargain buys, he spent just £9.90 on his brick-effect wall.
Alongside his post, Trebor beamed: '£10 brick wall effect. Just buy four testers and a sponge.'
He then added: 'Why spend silly money on wallpaper, blocks or plaster..'
The savvy saver claimed that his DIY trick can be done on 'any wall', and involves 'no prep'.
As well as this, he penned: 'The worse the wall, the better. Look at the cracks showing through..'
Alongside his post, Trebor wrote: 'This was to match a picture and rug but choose your own colours and put some creativity and simple effort and be individual..'
To create his brick-effect design, Trebor simply dipped a large sponge into his orange paints and stamped it onto his white wall.
Then, between each rectangular shape, he used the thin side of a sponge to paint a white gap, in an attempt to mimic the look of a brick wall.
As Trebor demonstrated his savvy idea, he explained: 'It doesn't matter if it's not the right shape, just add some white.'
DIY fans react
But Facebook users have been left divided by Trebor's wall design - while some thought it looked 'authentic', others weren't impressed with the 'wonky' look.
One person said: 'Your pointing is off lol.'
Another added: 'If [it] was straighter the bricks would look nice. If my house was like that I'd be worried why my bricks would be wonky, they need to be in a more straight line.'
But to this, someone else replied and commented: 'I think that makes it look more authentic.'

FORMER Premier League star Darren Pratley has been released by Leyton Orient aged 40. Liam Delap's a snip at £30m but only if Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca plays to his strengths, writes CHRIS SUTTON
Funny to think when I moved to Chelsea in 1999 for £10million, I was their record signing. Now, £30m for Liam Delap would be an absolute bargain, a total no-brainer from the Blues' perspective. Chelsea can hand him a hefty salary boost and even then, on a 15-year deal or whatever ludicrous length of contract is eventually signed by the 22-year-old Englishman, he's cheaper than the other striker options they could have gotten. I see Delap as an all-rounder; he's shown why he can be a finisher, a link-up man and a big lump all in one package. I like that he mixes it up, sometimes playing with his back to goal and other times sprinting in behind, and how he can unleash clean strikes with both the left and right feet as defenders never know which avenue to show him down. But once they have him, Chelsea need to make sure they play to his strengths. Cole Palmer was interesting after the Conference League final, essentially admitting he went rogue when he set up Enzo Fernandez to score the equaliser in that 4-1 victory over Real Betis: 'I was sick of getting the ball and going backwards and sideways.' Delap will be playing for Enzo Maresca next season after Chelsea agreed a £30m transfer deal Enzo Maresca needs to make sure he does not stifle Palmer's creativity moving forward, and that Delap is supplied with the chances from which he can score. It helps that Ipswich tried to play a possession-based philosophy when they were in the Premier League. Sometimes to their own downfall as they finished the season with the fewest crosses out of any club. I'm sure Delap, standing tall at 6ft 1in, would have liked the odd ball whipped into the box to attack. Chelsea are not as allergic at crossing as Ipswich, but they should also get him running into the channels, holding up the ball like we know he can, linking up with the wingers and winding up the opposition so that no defender ever thinks he is in for an easy afternoon. He's no shy bairn, Delap. He will let you know he's there, as he did when Chelsea visited Portman Road last season and he immediately barged into Tosin Adarabioyo and then Levi Colwill. At Chelsea, Delap is set to be surrounded by elite team-mates, not least Palmer, who played with him at Manchester City's academy. Palmer proved a £42.5m steal, and Delap has the opportunity to follow in his footsteps. Maybe his £30m fee can help in that regard because it will alleviate the pressure on this English striker who, in my opinion, will only get better and better with time.
