NASCAR driver Natalie Decker is set to make her season debut at s after giving birth back in February.
Decker will become one of the few female drivers who became mothers and then competed in NASCAR.
Shawna Robinson, Sara Christian, and Tina Gordon are among the legendary drivers who gave birth and came back to race.
She gave birth on February 5th, and six months later, Decker will get behind the wheel of a race car.
Natalie Decker, driver of the #92 Bikini Zone Chevrolet, prepares to practice for the NASCAR Xfinity Series BetMGM 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 24, 2024 in Concord, North Carolina.

"February 5th 2025 was the best day of my life and also the worst day of my life," Decker wrote on X after giving birth.
"Giving birth was so beautiful but having your baby taken away from you minutes after to get rushed to the NICU was the most painful thing I have ever experienced.
"It was the longest 3 days of my life watching my little boy fight to get stronger in the NICU. Our Family of 3 are healthy and have been home now for 3 days, God is so good!! We are blessed with the best gift and I couldn't be in a happier place."
The 28-year-old woman will drive the No. 92 DGM Racing Chevrolet with sponsorship from Wawa.
Decker races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where she has made 12 race starts.
Despite driving machinery at a high speeds, she said giving birth to her son, Levi, was harder.
"It was really difficult, and I didn't understand how strong I was until I was pregnant," Decker told WASW, a CBS news affiliate.
"Giving birth was incredible, the best experience of my life, and it was the biggest adrenaline rush I've ever had. I go 200 miles per hour, but giving birth topped that."
Decker was desperate to get back on track soon after giving birth.
"I've always wanted to be a mother. I've always wanted to be a NASCAR driver and it's like full circle, everything coming together," Decker said on Fox News.
"I cannot wait to get back to the track. I'm just looking forward to be back in the car doing what I love and being there with my family.
"Because that's the whole reason why I fell in love with racing was I go to the racetrack with my family and the competitiveness and just the whole thing and seeing Levi get to be there is going to be the best part."
The best result of her time with the NASCAR Xfinity Series was at Daytona, finishing 18th.
Previously, she competed in the NASCAR Truck Series and finished fifth at Daytona during the 2020 season, securing the best result for a woman in the series.

Winless Jon Rahm Steals Joaquin Niemann's Thunder, Runs Away with LIV Season Title

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Jon Rahm didn't need to win in Indianapolis to be crowned LIV Golf individual champion for the second consecutive year. All he needed was to finish solo second to steal the moment from Joaquin Niemann, despite the Chilean's five titles this year. Rahm fired a final-round 60 at The Club at Chatham Hills to finish his round as clubhouse leader. However, Sebastian Muñoz birdied his final two holes to tie the Spaniard in the very last minute and force a playoff. Jon Rahm of Legion XIII reacts on the 18th green on day one of LIV Golf Indianapolis at The Club at Chatham Hills on August 15, 2025 in Westfield, ended up winning his first LIV Golf tournament and banking the $4 million paycheck. However, the bigger prize went to Rahm, who collected the $18 million bonus reserved for the season's individual champion. The two-time major champion was able to edge Niemann by just over one point in the race for the individual title. Rahm's consistency weighed heavily on him, as he finished in the top 10 in 12 of the season's 13 tournaments, including four second-place finishes and three other top-five finishes. The Chilean, on the other hand, won five tournaments but didn't achieve any other top-10 finishes. Nevertheless, a five-time winner losing the season-long race to an opponent who hasn't won a single event is something extremely improbable to see on any other major golf tour. Niemann's Torque GC won the team title in Indianapolis, their first of the season. The season standings are overwhelmingly led by Rahm's Legion XIII, but the team title will be decided at the Team Championship, which will be played in Michigan next week. Jon Rahm. Your 2025 LIV Golf Individual Champion! — FOX Sports: Golf (@GolfonFOX) August 17, 2025 The LIV season will end there, but Rahm's golf season probably won't. The Spaniard hopes to be selected by Luke Donald for the Ryder Cup in September, so he will probably make some starts on the DP World Tour before the selections are announced. His most likely options appear to be the European Masters, the Irish Open, and the BMW PGA Championship. It's unlikely he'll be seen at the French Open, as it's played just the week before the Ryder Cup. After the biannual event, Rahm could play a few more events in Europe, especially those that visit his home country. However, his schedule has not yet been announced. Scottie Scheffler Wins BMW Championship as Ted Scott Misses Moment Meant for Two

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Scottie Scheffler has made a habit of chasing down leaders and turning pressure into trophies. On Sunday at Caves Valley Golf Club, he did it again, this time without his longtime caddie Ted Scott by his side. The final round of the BMW Championship began with Scotland's Robert MacIntyre holding a four-shot lead at 16-under. Scheffler, sitting at 12-under, was in the final pairing but trailing. MacIntyre had led wire-to-wire through the first three rounds, including a career low 62 on Day 1. But Sunday, unfortunately for him, slipped away quickly as World No. 1 grabbed his fifth season title. MacIntyre, on the other hand, bogeyed it, and his four-shot lead was cut in half before the gallery had settled. By the fifth hole, Scheffler had drawn even. And by the seventh, after a laser approach to six feet, he had taken the outright lead. MacIntyre struggled to find fairways and made three bogeys in his first five holes. Though he rallied with a birdie at the par-5 16th, Scheffler responded with a moment that will live in the BMW Championship's highlights. Standing in thick rough on the par-3 17th, Scheffler chipped in from 82 feet for birdie, a shot that hyped up the crowd and sealed his newest title. SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER WITH A RIDICULOUS CHIP-IN BIRDIE 😮‍💨 He just secured the BMW Championship for his 5th win of the season 🏆 (via @PGATOUR) — Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) August 17, 2025 "Anytime you hole a chip like that, it's pretty nice," Scheffler told reporters after his Sunday win at Caves Valley, according to a transcript. "It looked good when it landed, looked good when it was rolling, and it was nice to see that one go in." The 29-year-old closed with a 3-under 67 to finish at 15-under 265, two shots clear of MacIntyre. It marked his fifth win of the season, including two majors, and his 17th consecutive round under par on the PGA Tour. "I try not to take days off. I try not to take shots off," Scheffler said as quoted in his winning transcripts. "(Sunday) was a grind, and I think it just has a lot to do with the intensity we bring to each round and each shot." With the victory, Scheffler took home a total of $3.6 million. He also became the first player since Tiger Woods (2006–07) to win five or more PGA Tour events in consecutive seasons. But amid the celebration, one figure was missing: Ted Scott Scott, Scheffler's trusted caddie since 2021, had to leave the FedEx St. Jude Championship early due to a family emergency. He remained home in Louisiana throughout the BMW Championship. "Ted is at home with his family, and he's where he's supposed to be," the 18-time PGA Tour winner stated during the post-round conference. "We're praying for them, and his family is doing all right." In Scott's absence, Scheffler turned to Michael Cromie, a University of Georgia product and current caddie for Chris Kirk. Cromie stepped in seamlessly, guiding Scheffler through the week's challenges and earning praise from the champion. "Cromie did a great job this week (Aug. 14-17)," Scheffler told reporters during the same press conference. "It's not easy stepping in and trying to fill in for Ted. Those are some big shoes to fill, but he did a great job. Him (Cromie) and Ted (Scott) are good buddies, and I'm really thankful to have him on the bag this week. It was a lot of fun." 2025 BMW Championship: $20M Payout as Scottie Scheffler Clinches Fifth Season Title

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The skies over Caves Valley Golf Club weren't kind to the start of the BMW Championship. Thunderstorms delayed Thursday's opening round, softening the greens and testing the pros. But by Sunday, the clouds had cleared, and so had Scottie Scheffler's path to victory. MacIntyre's opening round of 62 had set the tone of the $20M event. But Sunday belonged to Scheffler. The world No. 1 carded a 3-under 67, highlighted by a chip-in birdie on the par-3 17th that stunned the gallery and sealed his fifth win of the season. MacIntyre, who started the day at 16-under, stumbled early with three bogeys in his first five holes and sadly never fully recovered. He finished solo second at 13-under. Rory McIlroy, returning from a three-week break, finished T12 at 277 strokes. Still, he remains No. 2 in the FedExCup standings heading into East Lake. Xander Schauffele, meanwhile, saw his eight-year streak of Tour Championship appearances get snapped. He finished T28 at 3 over par, missing the top-30 cutoff and ending a season that included just two top-10s and no wins. 2025 BMW Championship – Full Payout Table With a $20 million purse on the line, Scheffler takes home $3.6 million. MacIntyre earns $2.16 million for his runner-up finish, while McNealy pockets $1.36 million. Fleetwood and Burns each collect $910,000. Beyond the cash, Scheffler also secures a $5 million FedExCup bonus and enters the Tour Championship as the top seed, though this year's format resets all players to even par.
