Kerry may benefit from the recent challenges having not played a Division 1 team in the championship until facing Armagh in the quarter-final
Donegal booked their place in the All-Ireland football final with a 3-26 to 0-15 victory over Meath while Kerry competed in a tighter but still comfortable
Kerry legend Ó Sé believed neither team were particularly challenged in the semi-final but the Kingdom were in the better position of the two to go into the final.
The five time All-Ireland winner said: "If you ramp up 3-26 against Meath, what benefit is that to them in a way?
"Because would you be better off with a tight, tight game in the semi-final?

"I would argue the same for Kerry. Kerry's passage from quarter-final to semi-final was a little bit more difficult than Donegal's."
Mayo icon Staunton thought the less intense fixture was ideal for Donegal especially with this year's congested inter-county schedule.
The 11 time All-Star hit back: "I think Jim McGuinness will be very happy that he got 3-26 on the board today.
"As I said earlier, he got players minutes, a good 20-25 minutes. He got a lot of his top players like Michael Murphy, Ryan McHuge, Peader Mogan, he got them off after 50 minutes.

"This is going to be their 11th championship game, the most there has ever been in any championship. So I think he will be happy that they will rest.
"He has spoken a lot about 'we only had a week off' and the difficulties. I think he will be delighted that it wasn't a hard game and it didn't go down to the wire.

McGuinness himself
"From my own point of view, you should never, ever make an excuse for a game before a game is played."
The Donegal boss has had his complaints of the GAA's scheduling this season however, especially the decision for
Ó Sé still thought Jack O'Connor's side had the better preparation for the final despite Staunton's point.
He argued: "I just think Kerry are going to ask them a lot more difficult questions than the two previous teams have."
The two sides will meet on July 27 to decide the Sam Maguire Cup winners for 2025.

‘I've never watched it back' – Donegal's 2014 All-Ireland final loss to Kerry still haunts Ryan McHugh
CLAIMING a Celtic Cross will not define Ryan McHugh's inter-county career — but it would cap things off nicely. The Kilcar man, 31, made his All-Ireland SFC debut for Donegal in 2013 when 2 The two-time All-Star won Young Footballer of the Year in 2014 2 McHugh was just 20-years-old during the final in 2014 And the flying half-back has since won five Ulster titles for his county. He has also claimed two All-Stars but is yet to lift Sam Maguire. Ryan — son of McGuinness' men will now face the Kingdom again in the decider on July 27. No regret . . . well, an All-Ireland final is a big regret but in terms of my career, I think I've had a great career. But this would be the cherry on top of it. 'It's going to be massive and we're going to have to put in our best performance all year.' Donegal ended a ten-year wait for a semi-final berth last year. And they have gone one better this year thanks to Most read in GAA Football It will be their first All-Ireland final appearance since 2014 but McHugh admits he has not watched that loss back in full as goals from Paul Geaney and Kieran Donaghy sealed a 2-9 to 0-12 win for the Kingdom. Cork make big ticket announcement ahead of All-Ireland final amid huge demand
Cork county board have announced that they will not be taking any more ticket applications as their allocation for Sunday's All-Ireland hurling final has been fully distributed. Supply way outstrips demand on Leeside with the team having sold out all of their six games en route to the final, as well as the League final win over Tipperary, who they face once again in Sunday's decider. Cork fans heavily outnumbered their Dublin counterparts in their semi-final win at Croke Park earlier this month but tickets for that game were easier to come by given that they went on general sale. That is virtually never the case for a final, however, with tickets distributed through the clubs of the participating counties, but every other county is granted a small allocation also. Amid the unprecedented demand as Cork chase a first title in 20 years, the county board has issued a statement outlining how they cannot meet any further requests. 'Please note that our full allocation of tickets for the All-Ireland hurling final has been distributed and the process is now closed,' read the statement. 'We will not be in a position to meet any further requests. 'We acknowledge the desire of so many of our loyal supporters to attend this year's final, but our allocation could only meet a fraction of the demand.' Cork had received 'a very small second allocation', as outlined in an email to its units, but this will be distributed among clubs with playing representatives on the squad. The county board has also announced that they will host a Rebel Fanzone at SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh for Sunday's final. Tickets are free and will be available to download online on Thursday morning from 7.30am. Get the latest sports headlines straight to your inbox by signing up for free email alerts.

Cork County Board have no more All-Ireland tickets as allocation only meets 'a fraction of the demand'
Bad news for ticketless Cork hurling fans as the Cork county board have announced they are not in a position to meet any further ticket requests following the distribution of the county's full allocation. A statement from Cork GAA on Tuesday morning said they had no more tickets left to distribute, acknowledging how Cork's allocation could only meet 'a fraction of local demand'. As ever, a club's adult grading determined how many tickets they received from the board. Senior hurling clubs were initially set to receive 20 stand and 24 terrace tickets, Intermediate and Premier Junior 16 stand and 20 terrace, Junior A 10 stand and 18 terrace, and junior B and junior C four stand and 16 terrace. The Irish Examiner knows of one Cork junior club for whom the 48 tickets received from the board didn't satisfy even close to half the number of ticket requests put in by registered club members. 'Please note that our full allocation of tickets for the All-Ireland hurling final has been distributed and the process is now closed,' Tuesday's Cork GAA statement read. 'We will not be in a position to meet any further requests. 'We acknowledge the desire of so many of our loyal supporters to attend this year's final, but our allocation could only meet a fraction of the demand. 'Tickets for Sunday's Rebels' Fanzone at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh will go on sale on this Thursday at 7.30am as follows: 'Finally, we thank the officers in all clubs with the unenviable responsibility of distributing the small allocation available per unit and acknowledge the almost impossible task therein.'
