On this occasion, Fatima Musa, Executive Director of SAVW, confirmed that these activities come within the framework of the award's efforts to promote the concept of volunteer work as a fundamental value in the Emirati community, especially since the award takes advantage of community and religious occasions and events to enhance its communication with the community in order to promote the values of volunteering in various ways.
Musa pointed out that the holy month of Ramadan represents an ideal opportunity to enhance the spirit of cooperation and giving, and SAVW seeks through these activities to spread the message of volunteering as a means to achieve sustainable development, and support the values of compassion and solidarity among members of society.

Saudi Arabia receives over 1.6 million Hajj pilgrims in 2025
Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Statistics has reported that a total of 1,673,230 pilgrims performed the Hajj pilgrimage this year, which corresponds to the Islamic year 1446 AH. Families gather, relatives visit each other, homes overflow with joy, gifts, and expressions of gratitude to God for His countless blessings. Eid Sermon: A Message of Sincerity Sheikh Al Doubi noted that this year's Eid sermon was titled 'Our Eid: A Celebration of Sincerity," focusing on the themes of devotion and obedience. Meanwhile, pilgrims spend the most sacred day standing on the plains of Arafat, before proceeding to Muzdalifah and then circumambulating the Holy Kaaba. In this shared moment, the joy of Muslims across the world becomes complete. Days of Tashreeq: Continuing the Joy He added that the following days — the three Days of Tashreeq — remain days of eating, drinking, and remembrance of God. Muslims seize these moments with continued takbeer and tahleel, extending the celebration of Eid, maintaining family ties, and preserving the holiday as a season where joy is intertwined with worship, and mercy and unity blossom among people.
