Sanya Lopez, Martin Del Rosario hope to work together again after chemistry as Danaya, Theo

Sanya Lopez and Martin Del Rosario hope to share the screen again in future projects after working together briefly in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre." Sanya plays Sang'gre Danaya in the series, while Martin played Theo, a mortal. They fell in love and became the parents to Terra (Bianca Umali), the prophesied savior of Encantadia. In an interview with GMA News Online, Martin said he did not expect that his chemistry with Sanya would get the attention of viewers due to the shortness of his appearance. "'Yung taping days ko dun, hindi ganun karami, but 'yung reception ng tao nagulat ako na ang daming sumusuporta dun sa Theo-Danaya arc. And to think s'yempre si Danaya, originally kay Aquil naman siya eh," he said. "Nakakatuwa na may chemistry pala kami ni Sanya. Sana magka-work kami sa next projects," he added. "Gusto ko maka-partner si Sanya kasi kahit ako 'yung napanood ko, sabi ko parang tagos 'yung tinginan namin sa isa't isa. Malalaman mo naman eh kayong actors 'pag napanood n'yo sarili n'yo, may chemistry." Sanya, for her part, said that her scenes with Martin reminded her of the kilig present in K-dramas. "Actually nung moment na ginagawa namin 'yung scene na 'yun sabi namin… parang pang Korean 'yung vibe kasi merong hangin nun that time tapos magki-kiss 'di ba," she told GMA News Online. "Tapos sabi namin, wait lang parang Korean drama 'yung style. Kaya lang s'yempre it's fantasy, it's Sang'gre." Sanya also said she is open to reuniting with Martin on another project. "Why not 'di ba?" she said. "We're looking forward na magkaroon kami ng work together." Sanya and Martin's scenes as Danaya and Theo once again appeared in a flashback on Wednesday's episode of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre." Danaya and Terra finally met in the dream realm, and Danaya took the opportunity to tell her daughter about their family, informing her that Theo was killed by Mine-a-ve warriors. "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Stream.
