And now the first team need to follow that up by winning the Championship at Home Park on Saturday lunchtime.
A win over already relegated side Plymouth Argyle will be enough to secure the title over second place Burnley.
As it stands, Leeds and Burnley sit level on 97 points, but Daniel Farke's side lead the way with a superior 13-point goal difference.
But if Leeds slip-up, the Clarets will be looking to pounce with a home win against play-off chasing Millwill, as both can finish the campaign with 100 points.
The Whites returned to the summit after hammering Bristol City 4-0 at their final game at Elland Road this season.
Scott Parker's side had temporarily moved ahead with a 5-0 thrashing of QPR on Saturday lunchtime.
With both sides already promoted to the Premier League, all that is left to decide is the destination of the league title on the final day.
But the under-21 side led by example when they became the inaugural National League Cup winners, which pits Premier League and EFL youth team players against National League clubs.

Harry Gray - who is the younger brother of Tottenham's Archie Gray - put his side in firm control after Diogo Monteiro's opener.
Harry has enjoyed a brilliant week after celebrating promotion with the first team, following his senior debut in Leeds' 6-0 thrashing of Stoke City on Easter Monday,
'Looks class' - Three-time English champs release incredible video as they prepare to build one of UK's biggest stadiums
Leeds were mathematically promoted hours later after Sheffield United failed to beat Burnley, who also went up on Easter Monday.
Harry, 16, was an unused sub against Bristol City, and will be hoping he can get a second senior outing on the final day.
He remarkably became the fifth family member to play for Leeds, after Archie, their dad, grandad and club legend great uncle Eddie.
It was Eddie who broke down in tears when the teenager made his debut against Stoke a fortnight ago.
After winning the National League Cup, Gray told LUTV: "I'm enjoying it.
"It's been a good week to be honest. I just want more, I want to keep scoring goals but hopefully in the first team next year, prove myself."
The £1m prize fund from the Premier League is meted out only to the National League clubs, who also keep all gate receipts.
Leeds are set to host a bus parade to celebrate their promotion back to the top-flight - even if the club miss out on becoming champions.

Thursday's briefing: Bellingham upsets Tuchel's mother with behaviour
Jack Grealish has been left out of Manchester City's squad for the upcoming Club World Cup. Tuchel questions Bellingham's conduct Thomas Tuchel said his mother finds some of Jude Bellingham's on-field behaviour 'repulsive' (John Walton/PA) Thomas Tuchel said he loves Jude Bellingham's 'fire' but England's head coach revealed his mother finds some of the midfielder's on-field antics 'repulsive'. The 21-year-old was angry with officials on Tuesday after his equaliser against Senegal was ruled out following a contentious VAR intervention for a handball by Levi Colwill. The midfielder kicked a water cooler after the 3-1 loss and the following day Tuchel made some extraordinary remarks about him in an interview with talkSPORT. Put to the head coach that some fans think England would be better off without Bellingham, he said: 'I struggle to see that. 'I think it has to be the other way around – how we can have the best version of him and the best acceptance, that people understand what he is bringing to us and that he is bringing a certain edge. 'But I see that it can create mixed emotions. I see this with my parents, with my mum, that she sometimes cannot see the nice and well-educated and well-behaved guy that I see. 'If he smiles, he wins everyone. But sometimes you see the rage, you see the hunger and the rage and the fire, and it comes out in a way that can be a bit repulsive, for example, for my mother, when she sits in front of the TV.' Kane calls for England to learn Harry Kane called for England to learn from their loss to Senegal (Mike Egerton/PA) Harry Kane meanwhile insisted England can use their 3-1 defeat to Senegal on Tuesday to 'learn and appreciate' the level they need to reach. The 31-year-old got England off to a flying start when he turned home from close range in the seventh minute for his 73rd goal for his country. However, Ismaila Sarr's equaliser five minutes before the break shifted the momentum before second-half strikes from Habib Diarra and Cheikh Sabaly earned Senegal victory and handed Thomas Tuchel his first defeat as England boss. England thought that they had equalised to make it 2-2 but Bellingham's effort was ruled out following a lengthy VAR check after the ball seemingly came off Colwill's arm from a set-piece. Kane was upset with some of the officiating at the City Ground, but felt defeat may not be a bad thing for a team that is trying to learn from a new boss. He said: 'It might feel a bit different but sometimes nights like tonight are not a terrible thing… to learn and appreciate how hard it is to win against any team.' Grealish out of City squad Jack Grealish has been left out of Manchester City's Club World Cup squad (Martin Rickett/PA) Jack Grealish has been left out of Manchester City's squad for the Club World Cup. The England international was not included in the 27-man travelling party published by the Premier League club on Wednesday. The 29-year-old's omission had been widely anticipated and will raise further doubts over his future at the Etihad Stadium. The midfielder, signed for £100million from Aston Villa four years ago, has fallen down the pecking order at City since playing a starring role in their treble success of 2023. He made just seven Premier League starts in the 2024-25 campaign and was notably not summoned from the bench as City went down to a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final last month. He was then left out of the matchday squad for the final Premier League game of the season at Fulham altogether. With City's overhaul of the squad continuing apace with four new signings this week, there is growing speculation Grealish could leave. He has been linked with a number of clubs in England and in Europe. What's on today? Fresh Florian Wirtz transfer talks emerge as Leverkusen eye Liverpool star
Liverpool are already making moves in the transfer market as they seek more star power to bolster Arne Slot's title-winning squad ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 campaign Liverpool mean business in the summer transfer window. And after swiftly securing a replacement for the outgoing Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Reds are now closing in on a British record transfer. Arne Slot and Co are in a strong position after winning the Premier League and will be out to defend their domestic crown. The Dutchman will be given the funds to strengthen the squad after predominantly working with the same group of players he inherited from Jurgen Klopp last summer. While the focus is on incomings, a number of outgoings are expected, too. Darwin Nunez could be the biggest name to depart with Liverpool weighing up a move for a new No.9. With things heating up, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest transfer news and gossip from in and around Anfield... READ MORE: Fresh Wirtz talks We're getting closer to a deal but talks between Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are ongoing over the finer details of the monstrous package that will see Florian Wirtz head to Anfield. The Reds will not be meeting the £126million price tag that Leverkusen have slapped on their sought-after star. But they are prepared to offer the Bundesliga outfit a guaranteed £100m, with the deal likely to eclipse the current British transfer record with add-ons. Talks are set to continue with a deal edging closer... Leverkusen eye Quansah There has been plenty of speculation that players could be included in a deal to get Wirtz over the line and Bayer Leverkusen have now been credited with an interest in Jarrel Quansah. The Athletic have confirmed that the £40million-rated centre half is indeed on the German outfit's radar, with Leverkusen in the market for a new defender. Any deal for Quansah would be separate to the blockbuster one involving Wirtz, who will likely become the most expensive Premier League player of all-time should a move to Anfield be finalised. Leverkusen are in the market for a new central defender after losing Jonathan Tah on a free transfer to Bayern Munich. Kerkez gets green light for move Milos Kerkez has been given the green light to join Liverpool - by his Bournemouth team-mate, Justin Kluivert. Kerkez is known to be the Reds' top target as they seek another left-back. Talks over a deal with one of the Cherries' star performers are ongoing with Kerkez keen on joining Arne Slot's side. And Kluivert has now told Voetbal Primeur: 'He'll probably go there. I hope so for him. He hasn't really said goodbye yet, but I hope he'll make it happen there.'
