The Hot Dog Eating Contest will be held on July Fourth at the original Nathan's Famous location on Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York, reports CBS News. Joey Chestnut is back this year to compete for the Mustard Belt and the $10,000 grand prize and will face off against defending champion Patrick Bertoletti and 13 other competitors.
As far as the women's side is concerned, world record holder Miki Sudo will look to defend her title for a fourth straight year.

What are the rules of 2025 Hot Dog Eating Contest?
Each contestant has 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs and buns as possible.
Hot dogs are served five at a time per plate, including buns.
No condiments such as ketchup or mustard are allowed.
Only non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. While water is provided, participants may bring their own drinks—up to 13 cups in total.
Contestants may separate hot dogs from buns, but must consume an equal number of each. If the numbers differ, the lower total counts as the official score.
Participants are allowed to dunk hot dogs and buns in liquid for up to five seconds per dunk.
No utensils are allowed. Hot dogs may be broken apart, but only by hand.
Vomiting at any point during the competition results in disqualification.
The winner is the contestant who consumes the most complete hot dogs and buns within the 10-minute time limit.
