UK Female Prison Cop Had Phone Sex With Inmate, Flooded His Mother With Over 900 Messages
Last Updated:
The 26-year-old visited the inmate at his resettlement housing, granted him access to restricted areas of the prison, and had sexual encounters with him.
A female prison officer who engaged in phone sex with an inmate has admitted to public misconduct and now faces jail time. Megann Gibson, who worked at HM Prison Wealstun in West Yorkshire, was attracted to the prisoner.
The 26-year-old visited the inmate at his resettlement housing, granted him access to restricted areas of the prison, and had sexual encounters with him during her employment.
To maintain their affair, she also sent over 900 messages to his mother when it seemed to be falling apart.
Gibson has pleaded guilty to misconduct in public service and faces imprisonment. She also admitted to possessing cannabis. Her sentencing is expected in August, according to The Telegraph.
The judge at Leeds Crown Court in West Yorkshire warned Gibson of a possible prison sentence. She was released on unconditional bail, but the judge stressed the seriousness of her offense. She has been suspended from her job at Wealstun, a Category C prison.
The charges state that Gibson had 'sexual communications via telephone" as part of an 'inappropriate relationship" with the inmate during her employment at HM Prison Wealstun.
Her defense attorney stated that she was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from a past relationship and undergoing various mental health diagnoses.
Gibson is the latest female prison guard in the UK to be dismissed for an illegal relationship with an inmate.
In May, Isabelle Dale, 23, was charged for having sex with two inmates and conspiring to smuggle drugs into the high-security prison in Kent, Southeast London.
Another prison guard, Toni Cole, was sentenced to one year in prison after admitting to an 'inappropriate" affair with a 28-year-old inmate at HMP Five Wells in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
According to the New York Post, at least 29 female prison guards in the UK have been terminated for inappropriate interactions with inmates in the last three years.

Sean Diddy Combs' ex testifies she 'felt obligated' to have sex with male escorts, reveals shocking 'freak-off' details
A former girlfriend of Sean "Diddy" Combs testified at his federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial on Thursday. The woman, using the pseudonym 'Jane,' said she felt a "feeling of obligation" to have sex with escorts while the mogul watched because he was paying the $10,000/month rent on her home, reports New York Post. The woman told the court he brutally beat her and forced her to have unprotected sex with strangers. She told the jury Thursday that 90% of their three-year relationship was spent in the drugged-up 'freak-offs' Diddy orchestrated, filmed and pleasured himself to, which are at the center of this case. The testimony comes as prosecutors are accusing Combs of using his business empire to lure women into his orbit with promises of romantic relationships or financial support, before physically abusing them or coercing them into sex. Live Events The rapper has pleaded not guilty to RICO charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He faces life in prison if convicted. Jane testified that she would take Xanax to help her sleep after using ecstasy and other substances during intense "hotel nights"—also referred to as " freak-offs "—with Sean "Diddy" Combs. Her remarks about drug use surfaced when she was questioned about the various security personnel and assistants involved in obtaining drugs for Combs during their relationship. She mentioned that one individual, named Guido, regularly supplied drugs to him. "I just wanted to fall asleep, and it's really hard to fall asleep after you've been taking so many drugs," Jane explained about taking Xanax. She testified that she would take drugs to help her power through the "hotel nights" that could last up to three days. Jane said she would take Xanax after she "put Sean [Combs] asleep." Jane, a single mother, said she met Sean "Diddy" Combs during a 2020 girls' trip to Miami, accompanying a friend who was dating him. What began as a romantic relationship in 2021 eventually turned serious, lasting until 2024. She said they affectionately referred to each other as 'Bert' and 'Ernie.' But the tone of the relationship shifted dramatically in May 2021, Jane testified, growing emotional as she recalled the change. Combs began discussing sexual fantasies involving other men and role-playing, which she initially agreed to, assuming it was a distant and isolated request. Instead, she said, she found herself hours later in a Miami hotel room as Combs' staff prepared for a group sex encounter. 'That night opened a Pandora's box,' she said. 'It set the tone for everything that followed… a door I couldn't close.' Though she initially felt a rush afterward, Jane said she later regretted the experience. From then on, she claimed, the majority of their sexual encounters involved other men, with Combs watching. Asked whether she wanted to be with those other men, she quietly replied, 'No… just Sean.' Her account of these 'hotel nights' echoed previous testimony from Cassie, another woman linked to Combs. Both described enduring long encounters — sometimes stretching over 24 hours — and trying to get through them as quickly as possible. Economic Times WhatsApp channel )

After ‘big' online fight with CEO Elon Musk, US President Donald Trump may part ways with his new Tesla
US President Donald Trump is reportedly planning to part ways with his new Tesla. This decision seems to signal a potential end to his association with Elon Musk after a recent public dispute. According to a report by the New York Post, A White House official confirmed this development, claiming that the president is looking to sell or give away the red Tesla Model S he purchased at full price less than three months ago. The vehicle is currently parked in the White House lot and was originally intended for staff use, as Trump is not permitted to drive due to security protocols. Why Trump bought the Tesla in the first place Trump purchased the Tesla as a gesture of support for Musk when the company's vehicles, charging stations, and dealerships were being targeted by far-left hooligans. 'We're going to catch them, they're bad guys,' Trump said at the time, referring to perpetrators using flamethrowers and Molotov cocktails against the cars and infrastructure. 'We're going to catch you, and you're going to go through hell,' Trump said in support of Musk at that time. The Model S has a starting price of roughly $80,000, though the version Trump bought appeared to exceed $100,000. In March, the president also said that he had bought his granddaughter Kai a CyberTruck , calling it the vehicle with the 'coolest design.' 'I think [Musk has] been treated very unfairly by a very small group of people. And I just want people to know that he can't be penalised for being a patriot,' Trump said at the time. Why Trump may be planning to give away his new Tesla The relationship between Trump and Musk appears to have deteriorated following Musk's escalating criticism of the Trump-backed "Big, Beautiful Bill." Musk then called for the President's impeachment and advocated for a new political party to challenge the Republican Party. In response, President Trump threatened to cancel government contracts with Musk's companies. Musk also countered Trump's threat by stating that he would decommission SpaceX 's Dragon spacecraft.
