One UI 7 is for more than just flagships, and Samsung's update is rolling out to more phones now

Robert Triggs / Android Authority
TL;DR Samsung began releasing One UI 7 to phones on April 7 starting with the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 series.
The One UI 7 update has just rolled out to the Korean Galaxy A53 5G, European Galaxy A54 5G, and Indian Galaxy M34.
Other markets and devices should also be getting the update in the coming days.
Back in April, Samsung started to release its Android 15 One UI 7 update to devices, beginning with the Galaxy S24 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. The staggered schedule for One UI 7 means that it hasn't been the fastest update, but Samsung continues to make progress with its updated release schedule, as three more devices can get the latest One UI version.
SamMobile shares news of One UI 7 updates for the Galaxy A53 5G, A54 5G, and M34. With One UI 7 hitting these devices now, that actually puts all three of them ahead of schedule, because they were originally slated for a June release. For the A54 5G in particular, Samsung initially released the One UI 7 update earlier in Asian markets, so it is finally reaching the other locales now. And the A53 5G, one of Samsung's most popular Galaxy A-series phones, is dropping in Korea first before other regions.
For the Korean A53, the update can be identified by build number A536NKSU9FYE1, and it's about 3.4GB. The European A54 update has build number A546BXXUCDYDB and is roughly 3.5GB in size. And for the Indian M34 update, it's identifiable with build number M346BXXU7DYE1 and is 3.6GB. Other markets with these phones should see the update roll out eventually.
The One UI 7 update for these three phones can be downloaded by going to Settings > Software update and then selecting the 'Download and install' button.

According to Samsung's release schedule, which was recently updated, most models that are eligible to get One UI 7 should get it by June. Two devices won't be getting One UI 7 until July, which would be the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy A05s. And even though we still have to wait for quite a few phones and tablets to get One UI 7, some people are already gearing up for the Android 16 One UI 8 beta with the Galaxy S25 series.
While One UI 7 has a new look that is designed for better personalization and more intuitive AI features, the rollout hasn't been without some bumps. A lot of people weren't too happy with the fact that Samsung decided to split up notifications and the quick settings panel into separate pages, and this was enabled by default instead of being opt-in (yes, you can change it). Other changes, like the new notification lock screen icons and Gemini taking the power button hostage, didn't sit well with users either.
If you're still waiting for the One UI 7 update on your phone, don't worry. There are still a handful of devices that should be getting the update in June, which is just a few days away.

Skoda Turned an Old Hatchback Into an Awesome New Concept

The Skoda Favorit isn't a car we know well in America. The hatchback, designed by Bertone, launched in 1987 and was a massive success for the brand. Now, in 2025, Skoda has reimagined the Favorit with the brand's latest design language, but it features a few styling quirks that preserve the past with a modern twist. The new Favorit concept retains the original's simple and clean design, rounding off some of the sharper edges, such as integrating the door handles into a single opening between the front and rear doors. The new interpretation is also bigger than its predecessor, adopting a crossover-like stance to appease modern sensibilities. Photo by: Skoda It features "the spirit" of the brand's Modern Solid design language but with a few noticeable changes. The front of the concept forgoes Skoda Tech-Deck Face, a new corporate look for the brand's vehicles, and adopts something unique. One of the concept's more striking features is the lights. The Favorit adopts thin LED elements front and rear, with illuminated badging on the hatch. There are translucent covers over the lights that one of the designers, David Stingl, said could fold away when the headlights are needed. The designers even imagined a racing version with plastic cladding and other sporty touches. Photo by: Skoda Designer Ljudmil Slavov said he imagined the new hatch as an electric vehicle, which would greatly benefit its performance capability. The original Favorit had a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine producing between 54 and 67 horsepower, which would not cut it on today's roads. However, since electric motors are small and powerful, they would likely turn a new Favorit into an incredible performance hatchback we still wouldn't get to enjoy in America. But we can dream. CONFRONTING HATE: Kennedy Shares About Clash with Pro-Hamas Protestors in Poland

Kennedy, host of the Kennedy Saves The World podcast, joined The Guy Benson Show today to reflect on her recent trip to Poland with Guy, Mollie Hemingway, Emily Compagno, and Mary Katharine Ham. After visiting concentration camps, Kennedy described her visceral reaction to pro-Hamas protestors back in Krakow, where her and other ladies on the trip called out the protestors vile behavior. Kennedy also weighed in on the now-viral moment when Brigette Macron slapped President Emmanuel Macron while deboarding a plane, which prompted absurd Russian disinformation theories (again) from the media. Prosecutors unveil rape and trafficking charges against controversial influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate

Social media influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been charged with a combined 21 crimes, including rape and human trafficking, in the United Kingdom, prosecutors announced Wednesday. The Associated Press reported that the charges were authorized in January 2024, when warrants were issued for the arrests of the brothers, who hold dual citizenship in the U.S. and U.K., though they moved to Romania in 2016. While the warrants had been issued, the Crown Prosecution Service confirmed the charges announced on Wednesday marked the first time the two had been criminally charged in Britain. The brothers face a total of 21 charges, with Andrew facing 10 charges related to three women. The charges against Andrew include rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain. Tristan faces 11 charges related to one woman, which include rape, human trafficking and actual bodily harm. The Tates are social media influencers with a following of over 10 million. They describe themselves as entrepreneurs, and Andrew is a former kickboxer and MMA fighter. Andrew is more well-known than his brother, having drawn a larger following with his unapologetic misogyny that has drawn young men to the luxurious lifestyle he projects. The two have been accused of luring women to Romania for sexual exploitation in a 2022 case in which prosecutors suffered a major setback after a judge found there were too many problems to bring it to trial. In a second criminal case opened in August 2024, they are also being investigated for allegedly trafficking underage girls. In the U.K., they have also been accused of failure to pay taxes. Andrew and Tristan have denied all the allegations in Romania. Romanian courts have issued an order to extradite the two to the U.K. once their court case is concluded, British prosecutors said. The warrant issued by Bedfordshire Police for the siblings dates back to between 2012 and 2015. The whereabouts of the brothers were not immediately clear. They were photographed a week ago outside a police station in Voluntari, Romania, where they have to report regularly while facing charges there.
