Russell Grant's horoscopes as Gemini to have deep desire to give and receive love
Today's daily horoscopes for each star sign can be found below. These daily forecasts have been compiled by astrologer Russell Grant who has been reading star signs for more than 50 years.
Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)
People are naturally attracted to you. If you're in a relationship, your partner will find it hard to resist any request you make of them. If you're single, someone you meet in a park, museum, boutique or fine dining restaurant will become special to you.
Taurus (Apr 21 - May 21)
You aren't too enthusiastic about accepting an invitation to a community event. Yet for some reason you feel obliged to go. As it is, you will be glad of this chance to get involved in group activities. Someone with a wonderful sense of humour will brighten your day.
Gemini (May 22 - June 21)
A talented friend will encourage you to explore new ways to enhance your skills and knowledge. Some daily exercise will be both invigorating and enjoyable. Take this chance to take part in unusual or spontaneous activities. You have a deep desire to give and receive love.
Cancer (June 22 - July 23)
Life is hectic. Demands and expectations from others are starting to feel overwhelming. You're doing your best to get through a difficult situation but you don't know everything and putting the pieces of this puzzle together isn't easy. You may need help to gain a clearer understanding.
Leo (July 24 - Aug 23)
A loved one is feeling neglected while you constantly take centre stage. It's time to step back. When socialising, turn your attention to others and turn the spotlight off yourself. Organise a candlelit dinner for two, indulge your partner's sensual side, and watch as any issues in your relationship begin to mend.
Virgo (Aug 24 - Sept 23)
You have successfully moved past a difficult stage in your life. You can now focus on what lies ahead and this looks far less problematic. If you've been spending a lot of time alone, making new friends is your next priority. Do some research on social groups in your area.
Libra (Sept 24 - Oct 23)
An unexpected request gives you a chance to get involved a team effort. There's a lot of work ahead for you, yet this project also makes you feel as if you're doing something useful. You are brimming with energy and enthusiasm and it should be fun to apply your creativity in a hands-on way.
Scorpio (Oct 24 - Nov 22)
Successful negotiations will give your confidence a boost. Your positive outlook seems to attract new social opportunities without you even trying. You may have to cancel a date in order to attend an important meeting. Additionally, you are looking to contribute some of your time to a meaningful cause.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 - Dec 21)
A close friend or partner is spending more time with new friends. You would like to join them but you aren't a part of their plans. Don't protest too loudly. Instead, take this as a sign they want more freedom independent of your relationship. If you care for them, give them the space they need.
Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 20)
The only person you can truly depend on is yourself. A friend or colleague can't seem to understand why you are upset with them. They don't recognise why something is so important to you as it means nothing to them. Take this chance to think about your life and your friendships.
Aquarius (Jan 21 - Feb 19)
A workplace disagreement will stir up feelings of annoyance and frustration. You're tired of working with someone who insists on keeping to the same methods and routines day after day. You want to challenge the status quo. At least give yourself the freedom to deviate from the norm.
Pisces (Feb 20 - Mar 20)
Avoid measuring your financial status against that of your friends, neighbours, and coworkers. Those who seem to have it all may actually be struggling with significant debt. Competing with others is a futile effort. If you're facing financial constraints, steer clear of the urge to go on a shopping spree.

Who is Liam and Noel Gallagher's older brother Paul as 'forgotten' sibling is charged with rape
Liam and Noel Gallagher's older brother, Paul Gallagher, 59, is facing a number of serious allegations including rape and violent sex offences following a police investigation. Liam and Noel Gallagher's forgotten older brother, Paul, had remained outwith the spotlight for many years before he was charged with rape and violent sex offences this week following a police investigation from last year. Paul Gallagher, 59, who is the older brother of the Oasis stars, is facing a number of serious allegations including rape, sexual assault, coercive control and making threats to kill. The alleged crimes are said to have taken place between 2022 and 2024 and involve one female victim. Gallagher is set to appear before magistrates next month. The Met Police confirmed: "A man has been charged with numerous offences - including rape, coercive control and sexual assault. "Paul Gallagher, 59, of Manor Park Road, East Finchley, has been charged with rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. "The offences are reported to have taken place between 2022 – 2024. The charges follow an investigation which commenced in 2024. A woman is being supported by specially-trained officers. Gallagher will appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 27 August." The charges come in the midst of his younger brothers' return to the spotlight on their Oasis Live 25 reunion tour. The rock icons' next stop after their three remaining shows at London's Wembley Stadium this week and next is Scotland, where they will play three nights at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium on August 8, 9 and 12. Paul, who is just one year older than Noel and seven years older than Liam, is the eldest son of Peggy and Tommy Gallagher and grew up in Burnage, Manchester alongside his younger brothers. Despite Liam and Noel's very public fall out over the years, Paul managed to maintain a close relationship with both of them, with his youngest brother in particular. Liam asked Paul to be his best man at his wedding to fiancee Debbie Gwyther, which has still not taken place due to it being postponed multiple times. The pair had been due to tie the knot in 2023 but it got pushed back due to Liam's hip surgery. Throughout Liam and Noel's 15-year feud, which they finally put to bed last year after announcing an Oasis reunion, Paul remained in regular contact with both of them. However, he said he would meet up with Liam 'every other day'. Despite this tight knot bond, Paul has never had any involvement in Oasis. Instead he decided to pursue two very different careers as a DJ and a photographer. Speaking about what it was like to grow up with the Oasis stars in his 1997 memoir Brothers: From Childhood to Oasis, he said: "We were just brothers and on the outside we appeared the same as anybody else, if a bit more argumentative and disagreeable. 'Then one day they both showed a staggering talent for music and a surge of confidence that led them to achieve. It left me questioning my life.' Paul recalled how he had once asked Liam and Noel whether he could tour with them to help oversee their merchandise sales. He also later suggested that he could be in charge of setting up an official band fan club. However, the eldest Gallagher brother claims the pair were not interested in his involvement with their band. Paul appears to have not let their stardom bother him too much as he insists that he prefers to 'float around invisible'. Speaking on the Michael Anthony Show podcast in 2023, Paul said he can also sing but gave it up after his brothers became international rockstars. He said on the show: "I can sing. I don't sing anymore, when you have got two fellas in your family who can sing then what the f*** are you doing singing. Do something else." When asked if he can play the guitar as well as Noel, Paul replied: 'No I can't do that s***. That's why I gave it to Noel when I was seven. "I was like 'Do something with that or my mother will kill me for wasting money on a f***ing guitar. Have it. Take it away'.'

Lewis Capaldi reveals hilarious way he makes himself fall asleep at night
Lewis Capaldi has revealed his sleeping routine and the one bizarre thing that always sends him into a 'delightful' slumber. Lewis Capaldi has revealed his highly unconventional method of getting to sleep and it's with the help of one legendary US rapper. Speaking to Apple Music ahead of the launch of their new curated playlist series, Music That Soothes Me, the beloved Scots singer said he opts to listen to some old school rap by one particular music legend when his head touches the pillow at night. That artist is Eminem, known for his very fast paced rhymes and X-rated lyrics. The Someone You Loved singer explained: 'If I'm going to fall asleep, especially on a plane, I put on Eminem because I feel like it really puts me at ease. 'I listen to a lot of the older stuff like The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show – for some reason it lulls me into a delightful little sleep. Or I'll put on some of my own demos which also really knock me out.' Lewis, who recently made his comeback to the limelight, has opened up about his first time returning to the stage as he admitted that he thought he would never perform again, The Sun reports. The 28-year-old says he is no longer taking antidepressant Sertraline after successfully defeating his demons and getting his mental health back in check. However, Lewis said he has also learned to accept that he will always have some degree of anxiety. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! I'm not on antidepressants any more.' Referencing his new No1 single Survive, Lewis recently told fans during a live stream: 'It was f***ing hard to get off it. "You could say I've survived getting off Sertraline but let's not get into that. This is happy stuff. I'm trying to share less.' The Hold Me While You Wait singer made his return to music last month on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage as the festival's surprise act. Lewis had previously stepped back from singing, cancelling all performances and taking a two year break, after his Glastonbury performance in 2023 saw him struggle so badly with his Tourette's and anxiety that the crowds had to finish his songs for him. Reflecting on his meltdown on stage in 2023 on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Lewis said: "The first time did not go well. I had what the children would refer to as a bit of a menty B. A bit of a mental breakdown on stage. Nothing too serious. "I have Tourettes so I used to tic quite a lot and I still do but I used to do this thing with my shoulder and it became really uncontrollable and I had a panic attack on stage at Glastonbury and I couldn't finish the song. "It happened a couple of times at shows and stuff but I think because this one was so publicised and had so many eyes on it, it really made me think I need to go and get this sorted, I can't keep doing this to myself." However, Lewis is now back with a bang. With a UK and worldwide tour on the way this year and a brand new No.1 single, Capaldi said that his iconic Glastonbury return was "probably the best day of my life."

Celebrity SAS star 'quits just hours into first day of filming' as show to return this weekend
Celebrity SAS Who Dares Win 2025 is set to return this weekend but one star has reportedly already quit the gruelling Channel 4 show. A Celebrity SAS Who Dares Win 2025 star has reportedly 'quit the show and walked off set' just hours into the first day of filming. The full celebrity line up for the upcoming seventh season of the show, which returns this weekend on Sunday August 3, was revealed earlier this week. Among the famous faces competing in the gruelling challenges this year is S Club star and actress Hannah Spearritt. The 44-year-old reportedly walked away from the Channel 4 show during the first day of filming. Fans will reportedly see Hannah struggle in the very early stages before deciding to bow out, The Sun reports. A source told MailOnline: "Hannah had pretty much exhausted all of her connections within the industry before she left for Costa Rica. "She no longer speaks to her band mates and has now completely shut herself off from that world. The final straw came last summer when she took part in Celebrity SAS." The insider explained that Hannah "truly believed" a stint on the programme could "turn things around for her". However, they added: "But sadly she just couldn't hack it and walked on the first day. It was all rather embarrassing." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. A representative for Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins has declined to comment on the situation. Earlier this year, S Club star Hannah disclosed her new life as a "survivalist and prepper" in the Costa Rican jungle. The singer relocated in January alongside partner Adam Thomas and their children, to start a new life after leaving the UK. Taking to Instagram, Hannah described herself as "Prepper, survivalist and creator now living the uninhibited jungle life." She captioned a post: "Looking out to new beginnings at our new home! "Next on the menu is to learn permaculture… and have a laugh at ourselves filming the planting of the fruit forest!" Ahead of their life changing move, Hannah said: "That's the dream, to move to Costa Rica and buy some land or a farm and live the simple life with the girls." In 2022, she decided to set up Warth & Fire cafe in Twickenham, South West London with her partner Adam. However, the cafe was never fully ready to open and a pal of the singer previously revealed that she was selling up amid rising costs. They told The Sun: "It's the latest in a sequence of setbacks. The new plan is selling up and moving to Costa Rica to live off the land." This year's Celebrity SAS 2025 line up includes a raft of famous faces including Love Island stars, Premier League footballers, music stars, a drag queen and even one famous drugs mule. Celebrity SAS Who Dares Win 2025 returns to Channel 4 on Sunday, August 3 at 9pm.
