The Flintshire side host Penyffordd Lions on the back of a 2-0 league win at Broughton United.
'It was a great win but it's early days so we won't get carried away,' said boss Scott Beck, whose side have won three games on the trot. 'Spirits are high in the camp.
'It's another tough game but with a strong squad available we go into the game with confidence.'
Coedpoeth United's reward for winning 2-0 at Chirk AAA in the preliminary round is a trip to Johnstown.
'If we're on our game we should be confident but we all know how easy it is for standards to drop when you play a team from the league below,' said United boss Jack Pawley.
'There'll be a bit of rotation for us to keep it competitive.'
After opening up with two cup wins, FC Queen's Park head to Skippy on the back of two defeats, including last Friday's 2-1 league loss at Chirk AAA.
Park will be favourites to go through and so will Castell Alun if they can reproduce the form that saw them knock Llay Welfare out of the Welsh Trophy.
Castell go to Caerwys while Ruabon Rovers will look to kick-start their season at home to Holywell United. Rhydymwyn head to Yr Wyddgrug while Aston Park Rangers are at home to Saltney Town.
The action kicks off at Broughton United this evening with Hawarden Rangers making the short trip.
There's one game in Division Two of the North East Wales League tonight with Cefn Druids at home to Sychdyn United.
Meanwhile former Druids boss Jayson Starkey heads off on the road to Wembley tomorrow.
Starkey has been appointed boss across the border at Whitchurch Alport, who host Runcorn Linnets in the FA Cup preliminary round.
Vauxhall Motors, who are managed by former Connah's Quay Nomads defender Danny Holmes, head to Wythenshawe.

Federico Chiesa speaks out on Liverpool future after emotional Anfield goal

Federico Chiesa insists he wants to stay with Liverpool after an emotional first Premier League goal for the club in the dramatic win over Bournemouth. The Reds beat the Cherries 4-2 in a thrilling contest at Anfield, which saw the home team take a two-goal lead through Hugo Ekitike and Cody Gakpo only to be pegged back by an Antoine Semenyo brace. 90 minutes approached with the scores level but that is when the ball fell to substitute Chiesa in the penalty box and he expertly volleyed home to put the Reds back in front. Mohamed Salah added a fourth in injury time and what could have been a harmful night to their Premier League title defence, turned out to be a successful one. Chiesa has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer after a very underwhelming first season with the club last time round, which saw him make just six Premier League appearances. Metro's new weekly football newsletter: In The Mixer. Exclusive analysis, FPL tips and transfer talk sent straight to your inbox every Friday – sign up, it's an open goal. However, he sounds like he has no interest in an exit and wants to stay and contribute as much as he possibly can. 'I'm very happy at Liverpool!' Chiesa said. 'I will speak to the club but I want to stay here and fight to win many trophies.' It was not pure delight for Chiesa as there was sadness for everyone at Anfield on Friday as the club paid tribute again to the departed Diogo Jota. '[The goal] was a great moment for me but my thoughts go to Diogo,' said the Italian to the BBC. 'I think for what we have seen it was his day. The feeling that the fans gave me, chanting his song all the way through the match. 'It was very emotional, very emotional for me. I have to say that after the goal my thoughts went to his family, his brother Andre. That's the only thing I could say. 'At the end of the day we have to focus on the football. We wanted to win today. It was a difficult match, we went 2-0 up and then they came back, but we showed why we are champions. Of course Diogo would have helped us a lot but unfortunately he was somewhere else and he helped us in another way.' The 27-year-old did score two goals last season, one in the FA Cup against Accrington Stanley and another in the Carabao Cup final defeat to Newcastle. He is delighted to finally get on the score sheet in the Premier League, especially in such crucial fashion. 'Unfortunately one of the goals didn't count because it was at Wembley and we lost, but today it was the 3-2 goal,' he said. 'I helped my team to get an edge in a very difficult game and then at the end we scored for 4-2. As I am concerned all the Premier League games are tough until the end. You never know. We have to continue like this. 'It took me one year to score in the Premier League but as we say in Italian: Better late than never.' Slot was thrilled for the former Juventus man, saying: 'Fantastic. He came in in the end because we needed a goal. For him then to score in such a moment is special. It is even more special because the fans have supported him. It is nice that he gives them something in return with a great goal. More Trending 'The referee today kept the game going, it was a very high and intense game. Both teams were at it, trying to attack, trying to go through transition and not timewasting.' The Reds can now put their feet up after a stressful opening to the season as they do not return to action until Monday August 25 when they travel to take on Newcastle. That is followed by a home game against Arsenal six days later on what is a tough start to the campaign for the champions. Premier League's richest are getting richer but that's a concern.. and it could ruin English football from top to bottom

There is a huge disparity in kit deal revenue within the Prem KARREN BRADY Premier League's richest are getting richer but that's a concern.. and it could ruin English football from top to bottom Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A FRESH start, a new Premier League season and there's a nice, warm feeling in the pit of every football fan's stomach, which has nothing to do with the fact it's hotter than the hinges of hell. That feeling is called hope. Hope of what fortunes a new campaign can bring for your club. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 The Premier League returns this weekend Credit: PA I'm not alone in saying that there are issues which the Prem needs to address and not surprisingly it revolves around money. Or more correctly, where it is going? The gap between the so-called 'big clubs' and the rest is growing. Qualification for the Champions League for our six teams — Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Tottenham — means a whopping extra £150million on top of PL income. Then add the $100m (£75m) Chelsea earned from winning the Club World Cup this summer. Then take this into account — Liverpool and City have kit deals for this season which bring in another £100m. United's is just behind at £90m. READ MORE IN FOOTBALL Field generals Five midfield engines Man Utd could swoop for if Baleba transfer fails At the other end of the scale, Sunderland will make just £500,000 from their kit deal and Burnley £1m. That is a huge disparity of a monstrous £99.5m between top and bottom . In the week the latest A-level results were released, it does not take anything like that qualification in mathematics to work out that the wealthy clubs are getting wealthier — and that must have an impact on competitiveness. This is a worry because the Premier League is the best in the world. It is the most watched, most loved competition which the rest of the globe follows every week. From Singapore to Santiago, Sydney to San Francisco, it is the one that tops the lot. BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK Its popularity has been born out of its unpredictability, with every side capable of beating everyone else on any given day. How much longer that is the case remains to be seen? Leicester won the title in 2016 under Claudio Ranieri. No one saw that coming, but it proved that it could be done. Yet last season, only Nottingham Forest gave the top six a real run for their money. Man City want Rodrygo as Savinho replacement | Transfers Exposed Football fans should be concerned by this because the beauty of the Premier League is in its unforeseeable nature. In May's FA Cup final, Crystal Palace showed the way by beating Manchester City then followed up with a win over Liverpool in the Community Shield. The Prem must get this right because a league where the same teams win every year is not competitive — it is France's Ligue 1 whose broadcast revenues have recently taken a dive. This should be a real concern for football fans everywhere as the PL is the sole funder of the ENTIRE football system, from the EFL to the National League to the WSL. We need to ensure the Premier League continues to thrive to generate the revenues required to fund the whole football ecosystem. 3 Chelsea netted a huge amount for winning the Club World Cup Credit: Getty 3 Crystal Palace won the FA Cup back in May Credit: PA At the other end of the table there has been a lot said about the clubs — Sunderland, Leeds and Burnley — coming up. In the last two seasons the three promoted to the top flight went straight back down again. What we have to be careful about is that this does not become a regular scenario. It would not be a good for the Premier League to have the same teams going up and down every season. The average PL attendance is over 40,000 and virtually all games are a complete sell-out. It suggests we must be doing something right but it is precious and needs constant care and attention. And that brings me to West Ham. In an era when too many clubs have bought players without a clear plan, this year we are targeting signings who genuinely improve the team. We know it's not about how much you spend, it's how you spend it. It's about adding quality that makes an immediate impact, strengthening where it counts and making sure every new arrival moves us closer to challenging the very best. That's why, as this season kicks off, there's real hope around the London Stadium — hope built not on blind optimism but on a squad being shaped to deliver for our supporters.
