OMEGA Reveals Aqua Terra 30 mm Collection in Kyoto - Middle East Business News and Information
The evening began with guests gathering on the venue's observation deck as twilight descended over Kyoto's ancient skyline. OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann welcomed attendees, highlighting the collection's significance 'We've created timepieces that transition effortlessly from day to night, complementing any outfit or occasion while maintaining the highest technical standards,' Aeschlimann noted. 'This collection represents our response to the growing demand for versatile watches, all at a smaller scale.'
Secrets Revealed
As night fell over Kyoto, guests moved through a sensory journey through cascading voile screens created passages of discovery, gradually revealing the collection's twelve distinct expressions unveiling the 'my little secret' campaign theme.
Throughout the evening, guests engaged with a series of interactive installations that blended traditional Japanese artistry with contemporary expression, from confessional-style photo booths to live Shodo calligraphy demonstrations.
Stars Align in Kyoto
The event brought together five of the six 'my little secret' campaign ambassadors, with model, entrepreneur, and advocate Ashley Graham, K-pop star Danielle Marsh, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Tems, Academy Award-winning actress and performer Ariana DeBose and BAFTA-winning actress Marisa Abela, all joining the celebration against the historic setting.
The international gathering also welcomed notable talents from around the world, including the OMEGA Friends of the Brand, Karla Souza and Aislinn Derbez of Mexico and Yuriko Yoshitaka from Japan, as well as the actresses Orm Kornnaphat from Thailand, Maria Pedraza of Spain, Yara Shahidi from the USA, Italian TV presenter Melissa Satta and the German content creator, Lena Mantler.
The Aqua Terra 30 mm collection will be available in OMEGA boutiques and online from 19th June 2025.

The creative team is positioning the series as both an industry satire and romantic comedy, mining humor from the entertainment world's inner workings. The casting represents a strategic play by Prime Video to capitalize on the global Korean content boom. Lee Jung-jae's post-'Squid Game' star power, combined with Lim Ji-yeon's rising profile, could help the streamer compete with Netflix's dominance in the K-drama space. 'Nice to Not Meet You' will join Prime Video's growing slate of Korean originals, alongside titles like 'Head Over Heels,' 'Good Boy' and anime acquisitions including 'Jujutsu Kaisen 0' and 'Rurouni Kenshin.' Prime Video will roll out the series globally across more than 240 countries and territories with weekly episode drops. Margot Robbie in Talks to Lead & Produce Tim Burton's "Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman"Remake
Yara Sameh Margot Robbie is in early negotiations to join Tim Burton's remake of 'Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman' for Warner Bros. If the deal closes, Robbie would produce the remake with LuckyChap partners Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara with an eye to star. News broke last February that Burton was working on a reimagining of the 1958 science-fiction horror movie, which follows a wealthy heiress who grows into a giant after an alien encounter and exacts revenge on her cheating husband. 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' creator planned to direct, as well as produce alongside Andrew Mittman and Tommy Harper. Kai Dolbashian serves as executive producer. 'Gone Girl' writer Gillian Flynn penned a first draft of the screenplay, but has since exited the project due to other commitments. The producing team is currently searching for a new writer, and Robbie's involvement as the lead actor would depend on the final version. The potential collaboration would be a union between two of Warner Bros.' most successful recent collaborators. Grammy Winner Flaco Jiménez, Tejano Music Pioneer, Dies at 86
Rana Atef Flaco Jiménez, the Tejano music icon whose conjunto and Tex-Mex music got global acclaim, died at 86, his family confirmed on Friday. The family announced that he died on Thursday night in a statement shared on his official social media pages. 'It is with great sadness that we share tonight the loss of our father, Flaco Jimenez. His loved ones surrounded him and will be missed immensely,' family members Arturo and Lisa Jimenez, Gilbert and Cynthia Jimenez, and Javier and Raquel Fernandez, wrote on his Facebook page. 'His legacy will live on through his music and all of his fans.' The family added a request for privacy during this time, and expressed gratitude to fans who followed his music.
