Brighton Bier was established in 2012 and quickly become a staple in the local craft beer scene.
The brewery emphasised traditional brewing methods while incorporating innovative techniques to create unique brews that stood out in the crowded market.
However, the independent brewery has sadly announced it has ceased trading on its social media page.
A statement reads: 'We are sad to announce that Brighton Bier has ceased trading.
'This does not affect Brighton Bierhaus, Haus on the Hill, The Drop or West Tap.
'These are all separate businesses and will continue to trade as normal.
'We have fought hard and done everything we possibly could to avoid reaching this point.
'Sadly market pressures with reduced margins, high costs, and increases in price of materials, combined with the current economic conditions has forced us to close the brewery.
'We would like to thank all our customers over the years. It has been a pleasure working with you and we thank you for your support.'
People have shared their sadness at the news, saying it will be missed.

One poster commented: "Ah no sad news! Loved working with you guys and your beer was amazing.
"Onwards and upwards for whatever you choose to do in the future."
Another added: "Really sorry to hear this. Sending love and best wishes to everyone at the brewery."
"Very sad to read. 8 Second Ride was the first beer on our taps and Freshman was always a crowd favourite, as well as all the brilliant stuff on cask.
What is happening to the hospitality industry?
By Laura McGuire, consumer reporter
MANY Food and drink chains have been struggling in recently as the cost of living has led to fewer people spending on eating out.
Businesses had been struggling to bounce back after the pandemic, only to be hit with soaring energy bills and inflation.
Multiple chains have been affected, resulting in big-name brands like Wetherspoons and Frankie & Benny's closing branches.
Some chains have not survived, Byron Burger fell into administration last year, with owners saying it would result in the loss of over 200 jobs.
Pizza giant, Papa Johns is shutting down 43 of its stores soon.
Tasty, the owner of Wildwood, said it will shut sites as part of major restructuring plans
"Best of luck for the future to all those involved," added a third fan of the brewery.
While another added: "Ow man this is a shame. My mum loved your Brighton stout."
"Sorry to read this guys. Another local brewery we won't get to showcase," said another disappointed fan.
Meanwhile, with the average price of a pint in the UK costing £5.17, knowing the locations of cheaper spots is handy.

I was charged £4.5k for 2-hour stay in shopping centre car park after payment machine glitch… would YOU spot the error?

The error was only spotted after the mum got a text from her bank PARKED OFF I was charged £4.5k for 2-hour stay in shopping centre car park after payment machine glitch… would YOU spot the error? Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A MUM was left "shocked" after a shopping centre car park charged her more than £4,500 for a two-hour stay. Yaditi Kava, 39, visited Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre in Slough with her two young daughters to pick up some dinner after work on Friday May 16. Instead the mum used her contactless card to pay at the exit barrier as she left. After she tapped, a message told her she needed to enter her pin - a step not normally needed for purchases of £100 or under. However, bank security protocols do require customers enter their numeric passcode from time-to-time even for transactions under that amount. Regardless, Yaditi was in a rush and failed to spot that she was being charged a colossal £4,586 for her brief stay. "I was in a rush, the girls were getting tired, and I did not see the number on the small card machine," she told the BBC. She saw the display said '4,5' and mistakenly believed the fee was going to be £4.50. Instead, she was horrified after receiving a text notification from her bank showing the size of the charge. "To my shock, I saw that they had deducted not £4.50 but £4,586 from my account," she said. "It was surreal - I just couldn't fathom that they had taken that money." Car owners face instant driving ban under new registration law plan – it's all based on '$500 rule' Yaditi her to wait until Monday May 19 to try and reclaim the money, eventually speaking to a manager who she says blamed a "faulty machine". The manager provided her with a receipt and told her the money would be repaid within 2-3 working days. But three weeks on, the money had still not materialised. The accidental charge was repaid shortly after an intervention by the BBC's consumer rights programme The JVS Show, hosted by Jonathan Vernon-Smith on Three Counties Radio. Yaditi received her full refund on Saturday June 7 - a whole 22 days after the money was first taken. Real state company Savills, who manage the shopping centre, called it an "isolated incident" and said it was investigating to avoid other customers being inconvenienced by similar problems in the future. Yaditi is currently in the midst of a divorce and claims the money that was taken by the car park was cash she had set aside to cover legal fees. She also considered calling off her daughter's birthday party over the stress. A spokesperson for Savills said: "As the appointed managing agent at Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre, Savills can confirm that it is aware of an isolated incident concerning an anomaly parking charge at the scheme. "The matter has now been rectified with a full refund issued. "This was a very unusual occurrence, and we are investigating the car park system to prevent this from happening in the future." 5 Yaditi couldn't access the payment machines inside (pictured) as the mall shut at 8pm Credit: Supplied

The retailer is now offering the underseat bag for just £7 making it a must-have for budget-conscious travellers. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 With dimensions of 40 x 25 x 20cm, it comfortably meets the size limits for most budget airlines Credit: ExtremeCouponingAndBargainsUK The deal has already caught the attention of keen-eyed shoppers across the UK. One user posted on Facebook: 'Cabin underseat bag £7 at B&M.' One user commented: 'These are perfect for Ryan Air,' Another added: 'Bought these last year, fit plenty in.' Read more on Money PLANE EASY Brits praising a £7 underseat cabin bag that 'can take a fair amount of weight' And another shared: 'I can't wait to buy these.' However, some were quick to offer a word of caution, with one user commenting: 'Still check the airline you are travelling with and their underseat bag size.' The bag in question is the Bordlite underseat cabin bag, which comes in either black or grey. It's ideal for weekend trips or quick getaways and is designed to hold all the essentials without the need for a larger suitcase. With dimensions of 40 x 25 x 20cm, it comfortably meets the size limits for most budget airlines. B&M writes in the product's description: 'Travel with convenience using this Under the Seat Handheld Bag,' and confirms it is 'suitable for major airlines.' It easily complies with Ryanair's underseat baggage rules, which allow for bags up to 40 x 20 x 25cm, as well as EasyJet's more generous 45 x 36 x 20cm policy. That means you can take it on board without worrying about extra charges for overhead cabin space. Many passengers are now turning to underseat bags as airlines continue to crack down on carry-on luggage and impose extra fees. Having a compact, airline-friendly option like this makes travelling lighter and cheaper – and with B&M's current offer, it's more affordable than ever. Other high street retailers are also getting in on the action. Primark recently launched its own underseat cabin bag, which has become a big hit among travellers. The bag measures 40 x 20 x 25cm once the wheels are removed, making it perfect for Ryanair flights. Its 'easy click' wheels can be detached in seconds, making it both practical and compliant. Holiday packing tips Jemma Solomon, aka The Label Lady has got 5 packing tips to help you get organised for your next holiday. 1. Write a list Think about all the essentials you need to take with you; suncream, medicine, a few games for the kids, beach towels, and write everything in one list, which you can tick off as you add it to your suitcase. Or for complete ease, try Google's AI app - Gemini - which will create a list for you and help you not over pack. 2. Involve your kids Jemma said: 'My girls are getting older, they're 11 and nine, and they enjoy helping to pack. So I send them a list, and say 'this is what you need' and they follow the list. 'And then I give them a rucksack each - and say to them 'you can have whatever you want in there as long as it's not liquid', and they can take that on the plane. And that's their 'home away from home' items.' 3. Try a hack or two She said: "I think they all work, but for different reasons - and you've just got to pick the right one for your trip. "Rolling your clothes is really good to stop your clothes from getting creases. And if you're trying to get a lot of items into your case, it's a space saver. 'Packing cubes are great - for example, I'm going on holiday with my three kids and we're all using the same suitcase for our clothes. "These handy compartments let you separate your clothes, toiletries and tech into designated cubes, maximising luggage space by keeping your items compressed and neatly stacked. "I love taking them abroad with the family and it means my kids can easily take charge of their own items once we've arrived." 4. Decant beauty products Do you really need to take full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with you? The beauty industry has evolved so much, you can now buy shampoo bars or sheets - which are much lighter and smaller. Or, if you'll be popping to the shops when you're abroad, consider buying some items when you arrive. 5. Get organised before you come home Jemma said: 'When you repack on holiday [before coming home], the trick is to separate clean from dirty clothes. 'Also pack it in some form of order - so lights, darks, colours for items that need washing, or if you wash your clothes by person in the household, piles for each person. "Then you can put it straight into the washing machine. Do it straight away, don't leave it."

Urgent warning to 100,000 Scots who could have hot water shut off within DAYS – here's what you need to do

Read on for advice on what to do SWITCH OFF Urgent warning to 100,000 Scots who could have hot water shut off within DAYS – here's what you need to do Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN URGENT warning has been issued as thousands of Scots could be left without heating or hot water in just days. Regulator Ofgem revealed that 113,535 households across Scotland are still using old Radio Teleswitching System (RTS) meters and haven't transitioned to a smart meter. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 Thousands of Scots could be left without hot water or heating in just days Credit: PA:Press Association 3 Customers have been urged to to switch to smart meters Credit: Alamy The old technology is set to be switched off on June 30 after the deadline was pushed back from March. And customers have been warned that after the deadline, RTS meters will not work anymore. If people choose not to upgrade to smart meters, Ofgem has said that "heating and hot water may be left continually on or off", The Herald reports. There will not be a mass switch off from June 30, but a "phased approach". Energy UK, which represents energy companies, has revealed what homeowners can do if they still rely on RTS meters. They advise customers to book replacement appointments as soon as possible. And have stressed that people should not worry if the appointments are given after the deadline. All affected households should be contacted in advanced but Scots should contact their supplier to book a replacement as appointments are expected to be booked up quickly. An Energy UK spokesman said: "There will not be a mass switch off of the RTS national signal on June 3. From this date, we will begin a phase out of the RTS functionality for small groups of meters at a time. "Customers should still continue to book replacement appointments as soon as possible, and should not worry if the appointment they have been given is for after June 30. From TV to energy... tips to save you money on 7 bills that are going up in April "All affected customers will be contacted in advance, but as we expect appointments to be booked up very quickly, the advice still remains for customers to contact their supplier to book a replacement at the earliest convenience." Most homes have standard meters and will not be affected whether they have a smart meter or not. Since the 1980s, RTS meters have used a longwave radio frequency to switch between peak and off peak rates. The number of homes reliant on the signal was expected to drop as the roll-out of smart meters progressed.
