Pernod Sales Decline, Hit by China Troubles And Late Easter

Bloomberg17-04-2025
Pernod Ricard SA sales fell more than expected after Cognac was hit by a duty free block in China and Europe sales were held back by a late Easter.
The maker of Absolut vodka said that organic sales fell 3% during the third quarter, which was worse than expected. This was largely due to duty free sales being blocked in China since December as part of anti-dumping measures and declines in Germany and Spain.
