Uh, Jalen Noel, you said, whoa, for the Texans.
Uh, OK, two things are hilarious.

Wa't they draft Higgins earlier?
Yes, number one, they drafted the other Iowa State receiver Jayden Higgins earlier, so one of them will work out.
Straight up.
I, I just like Jalen Noll a little bit better as a player, even though I, as I said, I love the, the, this landing spot for, for Jayden Higgins.
The second thing is.
I compared Jalen Noel to Josh Downes, who went 79th overall the two drafts ago, so late to the Indianapolis Colts.
Jalen Noles's being taken at the 79th overall pick here.
Like it just makes too much.
sizeism is still rampant in the NFL, the receiver position.
These guys are going too late.

Uh, Jalen Noel, people compare him to Christian Kirk, who is currently on the Texans roster, so, uh.
There's clearly a and again this is a sign that they're not counting on Tank Dell at this point, which I think unfortunately that is where we have to be.
But he can bring you a lot of those same routes like vertical stuff from the slot or the flanker position.
Man, again, just Nico Collins is that ex-receiver, and then these two guys, uh, Jayden Higgins and Jaylen Noel working as like big slot, little slot, big flanker, little flanker.
They did college a little bit.
Works it's, it's perfect.
Like that's that is so fun.

If I'm CJ Stroud right now, I'm, I'm feeling great, fantasy fit gotta ask.
Yeah, I mean, I honestly, I, it wouldn't be surprising if he's better than Jayden Higgins or more productive in time, but I, again, this is a great landing spot for both of these guys.
Uh, they would both be on kind of, I, I'm just gonna watch the training camp report, see who's running mostly with the ones now.
Kirk is probably the favorite to be the #2 receiver this year, but.
He's a one year rental player and also coming back from an injury.
So, uh, man, I, I, I'm really excited for both these guys.
I again, late round sleeper.

I, I know you can sell me on either one of these.
Noel is he gets the useful tag complimentary, and yeah, Christian Kirk was my comparison for him, but it was Christian Kirk if he could block and that's what I like about them.
They're gonna want to block too.
Yes, and he can do the dirty work stuff.
That's what I love.
He's a vertical guy.
His ball skills are better than Higgins in the weirdest way.
As far as like contest to get stuff, uh, Higgins doesn't drop a lot, but, uh, Noel doesn't either.
Uh, it brings the deep ball element.
Good route runner.
It's got some yak, good punt returner as well, won Special teams player of the Year in a Big 12 last year.

I do, I do love it when teams look at a position.
You talk about the Jets with the offensive tackle last year.
Look at a position, they say never again.
We are never going to go through what we went through last year.
So we go, yeah, Chrisian Kirk, you add the two Iowa State receivers and you joker pulls or pulls Qs and say.
Tryouts.
I mean they had like Xavier no disrespect to these players, but they had Xavier Hutchinson and John Meche like multiple times like, oh like, these guys again like they're running the main routes in the games like that just can't continue to happen to a quarterback and see who has so much problems.
This is gonna be a safety blanket.
He's gonna love this guy.

International players tee off in crazy golf trophy
An estimated 250 players will compete in the individual World Crazy Golf Championships on Saturday and Sunday. The annual tournament, held at Hastings Adventure Golf in East Sussex, will see entrants from at least seven countries, including the USA and New Zealand, compete. Advertisement The winner receives £1,250 in prize money and a further £2,500 is distributed between players placed second to eighth. Simon Tompkins, director of Hastings Adventure Golf, said it was "a great source of local pride to host the championships". The individual event has additional junior and novice categories. The team competition took place on Friday. Competitors play six qualifying rounds - three on Saturday and three on Sunday - before the best-scoring 18 players compete in the final. Seven different players have won the trophy in the event's 22-year history, according to organisers. Advertisement The reigning champion said he was "hooked" after he entered the event for the first time, and returns every year. Chapman told the BBC he won his first title at his 10th attempt and "the rest, as they say, is history." Tom Loftus from Minnesota, USA, flew in to compete in the Hastings tournament [ROBIN GREY/BBC] US competitor Tom Loftus said he was "absolutely thrilled" to take on the "classic" fifth hole, which requires players to avoid a windmill's spinning blades to make their putt. He added: "It was so exciting to have that moment. I just love windmills." Rainey Statum, who travelled to the tournament from Texas, USA, told the BBC he faced a long journey to make it to the tournament, flying to London via Chicago. Advertisement He said: "Because I don't do trains down in Texas I kinda got lost and it took five hours for me to get here to Hastings through the train and subway system. "They misplaced my luggage too, so I was here a day and a half without my luggage." Follow BBC Sussex on Facebook, on X, and on Instagram. Blue Jays put Anthony Santander on 10-day IL with left shoulder inflammation, recall Alan Roden
TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Blue Jays put slugger Anthony Santander on the 10-day injured list Friday because of left shoulder inflammation and recalled outfielder Alan Roden from Triple-A Buffalo. Santander is batting .179 with six home runs and 18 RBIs in 50 games. The veteran switch hitter has missed a handful of games because of left hip and left shoulder soreness over the past three weeks. Advertisement Santander signed a $92.5 million, five-year contract with Toronto in January after eight seasons with Baltimore. He hit a career-best 44 home runs for the Orioles last season. The outfielder had an MRI after Thursday's 12-0 win over the Athletics, when he was 0 for 2 with two strikeouts and two walks, Blue Jays manager John Schneider said. The team was still determining whether the next steps would include a cortisone injection or rehabilitation, the manager said. 'I think it just got to the point to where it was bothering him,' Schneider said before Friday's game against the Athletics. 'You can't really put the work that you want to put in volume-wise, and we just think it's best for him right now.' Roden rejoins the Blue Jays after batting .178 with one home run and five RBIs in 28 games for Toronto earlier this season, his first in the majors. Roden hit .361 with three homers and 12 RBIs in 18 games at Buffalo after being sent down May 7. ___ AP MLB: The Associated Press

Pittsburgh Steelers' Beanie Bishop Explains Why He Disgraced Pittsburgh Panthers' Logo
Pittsburgh Steelers' Beanie Bishop Explains Why He Disgraced Pittsburgh Panthers' Logo originally appeared on Athlon Sports. One of the most bitter rivalries in all of college football is the Backyard Brawl, played between the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Pittsburgh Panthers. Advertisement The two schools have faced off in the rivalry 107 times, dating back to 1895. The game was played annually from 1943 to 2011, before Pitt joined the Big East and West Virginia joined the Big 12. The rivalry was reignited with a four-game series from 2022 to 2025, and the two schools have agreed to play another four game set from 2029 to 2032. Pitt leads the series 63-41-3, including a 15-game winning streak from 1929-1946. It's one of the most heated rivalries in college football, and arguably the most intense rivalry in the eastern United States. Pittsburgh Steelers' cornerback Beanie Bishop, a former Mountaineer, posted himself wiping his cleats on Pitts' logo, which started a social media frenzy. 'It's a rivalry, obviously people are not going to like me based on what school I went to and that's fine,' Bishop told Steelers media on Wednesday. 'It's part of the rivalry. We don't like those guys and they don't like us. I don't really have any liking for those guys, that's part of it... Advertisement "...That's self-explanatory. If you go and ask them, they probably hate me. Do I care? No, not really?" Bishop continued. "That's just part of it. If you go ask any fan in Baltimore 'what do they think about the Steelers?' They hate us. It is what it is. It's part of the rivalry. I'm only concerned with the Pittsburgh Steelers fans and West Virginia fans in that instance.' The Steelers hold their training camp at the UMPC Rooney Sports Complex, a facility shared by both the Steelers and the Panthers. Bishop must feel like practicing behind enemy lines, training on Panthers turf. Bishop also noted on Tuesday that he does not enjoy having Pitt players and coaches watch him practice. "It's hatred. You don't have respect for those guys." Bishop told Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Christopher Carter. "I don't even like seeing their coaches and players watching us practice ... I don't think it should be week 2 or week 3. It should be part of rivalry week."
