Pink Villa20 hours ago

As per the episode preview, One Piece Episode 1132 will be titled 'A Pledge to Ginny – Kuma Becomes a Father.' The episode will cover the events of Chapter 1098, as Kuma learns of the circumstances behind Ginny's disappearance.
What happened to Ginny?
One Piece Episode 1132 will begin sometime after Ginny's abduction. The Revolutionary Army headquarters receives an SOS from the South Blue branch due to the Tumi uprising. Kuma volunteers to go, though Ivankov protests. He states that Kuma has been increasingly reckless due to Ginny's disappearance.
It is revealed that she had been taken by the World Government and forced into marriage with a Celestial Dragon. Two years later, Ginny has been thrown out of Mary Geoise now that she is ill. She contacts the Revolutionary Army one last time.
Her deteriorating condition, described as her body hardening like stone under sunlight, leads to her death before Kuma can reach her in One Piece Episode 1132. Kuma finds her lifeless body in a Sorbet Kingdom chapel, where she left behind a child—her daughter, Bonney. Stricken with grief, Kuma promises to raise her.
What is the Curse of Sapphire Scales?
One Piece Episode 1132 will then shift focus to Kuma's new life as a father. Bonney, sharing Ginny's appetite and spirit, grows up happily under his care, believing Kuma to be her real father. Despite his continued involvement in the Revolutionary Army, Kuma always returns to care for Bonney.
However, Kuma soon boards up the church's windows when he realizes Bonney has inherited Ginny's disease—an incurable condition known as Sapphire Scales, which causes her skin to harden when exposed to sunlight.
Kuma seeks treatment from multiple doctors in One Piece Episode 1132. However, the condition is confirmed to be fatal by the time she turns ten, regardless of exposure. Unable to accept this, he quits the army to focus entirely on caring for her. Dragon supports Kuma's decision and even promises to help find medical experts.
As Bonney turns five, she starts facing ridicule from other children for being a 'vampire' and for the jewel-like mark under her eye. Kuma comforts her by saying the mark looks like a precious gem. They talk about future birthday trips, including dreams of visiting Sky Islands and Fish-Man Island.
One Piece Episode 1132 will end with Kuma learning that King Bekori is planning another atrocity—targeting the elderly and weak citizens in a campaign of fire and violence.
Keep up with Pinkvilla for more updates from the One Piece anime.

One Piece: Oda reveals the real reason Gol D. Roger never fought Imu

One Piece entered its Final Saga earlier this year, and fans have watched the greatest mysteries of the world unfold before them. After more than twenty years of hijinks galore, the narrative has moved on to the enigmatic leader of the World Government, Imu, and the long-concealed history of the Void Century. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now One question that's been gnawing at fans for ages is the reason Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King himself, didn't take a stand against Imu once he found out the truth. According to creator Eiichiro Oda, there's more than just an arbitrary need to have a classic final boss — and this is why Roger never fought Imu. In short, it's all about timing, prophecy and destiny. Spoilers ahead for recent chapters of the One Piece manga. Roger found the truth about the world 25 years ago Gol D. Roger and his fabled crew of the Roger Pirates made it to the last and final island, Laugh Tale, more than 25 years ago in story time. It's similar, in fact, to the journey of Gol D. Roger and his crew who sailed in search of and found the One Piece treasure. More interestingly, they learned the true history of the world. This included everything from the nature of the Void Century, the enigmatic nature of the 'D' clan, and the truth behind the Ancient Weapons. Roger dissolved his crew and surrendered himself to the World Government. One year later, he was executed, marking the beginning of the Great Pirate Era. So why did Roger not take all of this knowledge and apply it to the world? Oda confirms: Roger was too early to fight Imu As poorly retconned by Oda, the reason Roger didn't engage Imu was because the world was not prepared. When Roger got to Laugh Tale, one of the two 'sovereigns' required to bring down the Celestial Dragons hadn't even been born — Princess Shirahoshi, the Ancient Weapon Poseidon. 'We were too early! Someone will come and surpass us. I'm sure of it.' – Gol D. Roger Roger was the first to understand that he wasn't the chosen one to lead the final fight. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now That role was destined for another — for a person who could ascend when the moment called for it. Roger couldn't become Joy Boy or Nika Roger respected Joy Boy, this enigmatic figure from the past, and in fact laughed upon discovery of the prophecy. Roger understood that he himself couldn't have become Joy Boy. Not only was he too early, the legendary Devil Fruit connected to Joy Boy — the Gomu Gomu no Mi — hadn't chosen him. Instead, that fruit waited long centuries for someone like Monkey D. Luffy to inherit its power and awaken as Nika, the Warrior of Liberation. Roger was also dying from a disease Yet another even bigger reason Roger didn't go to war against Imu was his terminal illness. By the time he discovered the One Piece, Roger possessed just a few years to live. Even had he fought with all his might, he wouldn't have lived long enough to win the war. Instead of letting fate pass him by, Roger decided to inspire the next generation of pirates — trusting that one day someone would be strong enough to defeat Imu and free the world from tyranny. A new era has begun — And Imu's time is running out Now, 25 years later, Luffy is indeed doing just that, treading the same path created by Roger himself. Unlike Roger, Luffy is indeed not too early — he is the one of the prophecy. Shirahoshi is very much alive, the Ancient Weapons are beginning to make their presence felt and the Great War has just begun. Now that the Final Saga is well underway and secrets surrounding Imu are finally beginning to come to light, fans are more anxious than ever to see this epic confrontation. One Piece chapter 1151 release date and time One Piece Chapter 1151 will be officially available on June 8, 2025, but fans can read it for free on Manga Plus. In Japan, the new chapter is released at 12 AM JST on Monday, but most international readers (US and UK included) will be able to read it on the evening of Sunday, June 8. Roger's legacy lives on Roger probably didn't have to battle Imu, but his choice to wait for the right one revolutionized the world forever. Now, it's Luffy's turn to take on the World Government, learn the truth of the world, and maybe even become the next Joy Boy. The Final War is coming — and this time, Imu won't escape the storm.

Ginny & Georgia season 4: What to expect with more secrets, sass and peachy drama

Hold onto your milk jugs, Peaches! Netflix 's beloved mother-daughter dramedy, Ginny & Georgia, is officially coming back for a fourth season—and if you thought Season 3's finale was wild, you'd better buckle up for what's next in Wellsbury . Season 4 promises to be juicier than Georgia's infamous lemonade. Show creator Sarah Lampert spilled to Netflix's Tudum that the new season's official theme is 'Cycles and Origins.' Translation: expect deep dives into Georgia's tangled family tree and the generational patterns she's desperate to break. Brianne Howey (Georgia) teased, 'Sarah has some incredible things planned, and I can't wait to see more about the circumstances that shaped Georgia.' And speaking of family trees—did someone say baby on board? Yep, Georgia is pregnant! But is the father her estranged husband Paul (Scott Porter), or the ever-charming Joe (Raymond Ablack)? 'It's complicated,' Howey laughs. Sounds like classic Georgia. Kids, consequences, and character growth After Ginny ( Antonia Gentry ) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca) pulled off a jaw-dropping scheme to protect their mom—framing Austin's dad Gil (Aaron Ashmore) for Georgia's crime—Georgia is finally confronting the impact of her choices. 'Once Georgia realizes how her kids manipulated this situation, it's quite sobering,' Howey admits. This shock pushes Georgia to (gasp!) start therapy, hoping to break the cycle for good. Showrunner Sarah Glinski adds, 'The most important thing to Georgia is her kids,' and Season 4 will explore the emotional fallout for Ginny and Austin. Gentry hints that Ginny is 'fully turning into Georgia,' but with her own twist: after a summer in Korea with her dad Zion (Nathan Mitchell), she's coming back 'cultured, badass, and ready to protect her family.' What's next? With new family members, old secrets, and plenty of drama, Season 4 is shaping up to be the most 'peachy' yet. While you wait, you can relive every twist and turn from Seasons 1–3, streaming now on Netflix. Stay tuned to Tudum for more updates—because in Wellsbury, the tea is never cold! Live Events
