Firework goes off in basement of Sheboygan County home, one injured
HOLLAND, Wis. (WFRV) – The resident of a Sheboygan County home was injured after a possible firework was discharged in his basement. Deputies with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office say they were called to a home on South Pine Beach Road in the Town of Holland around 11:35 a.m. on Saturday, July 5. The 911 call was reportedly in reference to a 'possible' firework that was 'discharged' in the basement of the home. Man stabbed to death at Oshkosh's Menominee Park after large fight, teen arrested
OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities launched a homicide investigation after a man was found stabbed to death near Oshkosh's Menominee Park on Saturday night. Officers with the Oshkosh Police Department say the stabbing happened inside Menominee Park in the 1200 block of East Irving Avenue in Oshkosh. Man flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries after head-on collision in Outagamie County Around 11 p.m. on July 5, officers were initially called to a crash in the 900 block of East Irving Avenue, where they found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Further investigation revealed a fight taking place between 'several' people who were at Menominee Park. Officers say that is when the fight escalated, leading to the man being stabbed. The Fond du Lac Police Department later helped to arrest a 19-year-old man from Fond du Lac for first-degree intentional homicide. HARTFORD, Wis. (WFRV) – Several people were hospitalized after a reported explosion started a fire at an eastern Wisconsin manufacturing facility on Thursday morning. Around 5:45 a.m. on July 3, Hartford first responders were called to Signicast, a manufacturing facility in the Dodge Industrial Park on Innovation Way, for a fire. Dispatch was initially told that there were reports of several injured people and an alleged explosion. The first crew to arrive spotted smoke from the roof and an open overhead door, with multiple employees standing outside. Man stabbed to death at Oshkosh's Menominee Park after large fight, teen arrested Two seriously hurt victims were immediately taken to a local hospital as crews worked to put out the fire in the building, which was reportedly impacting multiple locations of the facility.
